La casa cuenta con un amplio plan de piso abierto con grandes ventanales con vista al lago que ofrece impresionantes vistas a la montaña. Totalmente amueblado con WiFi, 2 televisores LED grandes y mucho espacio para familiares y amigos en interiores y exteriores. We had a wonderful time with our 4 adult children and families! The house was so amazing! We spent our days on the boat we rented scouting good fishing and private swimming coves. In evening we cooked together and enjoyed a beautiful fire!

This property has an amazing view. The owners provided great details about the property and the surrounding area. The house was very clean and comfortable for our extended family group of eight adults. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boards and kayaks, and docking our rental boat was very easy. The cove is quiet and the outdoor space felt very private. Overall, we had a great week at this property!

Nice and calm place perfect for a large group or a family trip. It has a large living room everyone can hang out with, and there’s plenty of space for small group entertainment as well. Def recommend if you’re visiting the SML.

Best House on the Lake

Stayed for a long weekend with Family ( 8 adults and 1 baby). This home has the best views of the Lake and the Mountain. It will take your breath away when you first walk into the house. Check in was breeze and the house was exactly as described. The house has so much room for everyone. The dock is the best place to watch the sunrise- beautiful and relaxing! We hope to visit again.

Mark and Emily have such a gem of a spot on smith mountain lake!! They are responsive and the house is located in such a great area of the lake. Tip, please get up early and see the beautiful sunrise! The view is incredible!

Beautiful family celebration!

All 8 of us and the dog were extremely comfortable and soothed by the beauty of this house and its comfort. Awakening to the sun rising over the ridge behind the trees was a special treat. Everything was well equipped and maintained. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner and several other meals for the whole family! And the home's flow and set up allowed for family games and my husband's BIG birthday celebration...room to be together or to enjoy the view or walk around the area. Sooo many birds and deer! Our grandson is ready to come back with his friends in the summer since they all like to go fishing.

Lake Getaway

If you are looking to getaway for a relaxing vacation, then this is the place. The home is just as described in the listing. The sunrise/sunset lake views are amazing! There is plenty to do inside and outside of the house. There is plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the pots, pans, plates, and utensils you'd need. Our host was very responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Great experience

Everything was as listed, beautiful house and views. We booked the house to spend time with family and friends from out of town. We fished, grilled and had fires at night. Hosts were great and replied quickly when we had questions. It was a wonderful weekend at this house.

Great Lake house

Beautiful view of the lake from a wonderful house that suited our group (2 families) perfectly. We rented a boat from a local marina and tied it up to one of the floating docks and used the other for fishing. Great stay - would definitely come back!

Summer at SML

The view of the lake from the house is fantastic! We had such a great time using the paddle boards and kayaks. This cove is a great, peaceful location but close enough to the bigger part of the lake if using a boat or jet ski. The house is well stocked and has a variety of games/entertainment. We definitely enjoyed our visit.

Awesome house and location

We had a full house with 5 generations and everyone had a great time. The kids enjoyed the games as well as swimming right at the dock and making s'mores at the fire pit. The house had everything we needed and then some. Almost like being at home. If the opportunity arises we will stay there again.

SML- Vacation 2024

The property is AWESOME! The property was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect, tucked away in a cove, which make it wonderful for our young grandkids to swim without boat traffic. the decks and docks made if perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. Would recommend this location to all and would stay here again.

Great Stay!

Had a great time. House was very cozy and had such a great view of the lake. Very quiet area with very little activity on the lake during our stay. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/cookware and house was very clean. Will be back next year!

Absolutely Fantastic!!

What a great time! My family and I enjoyed the lake access and house with so many amenities. The house is well-stocked, appealing, and clean. Sunrise and sunsets became a celebration of beauty with such breathtaking views and the perfect backdrop for countless pictures! Throughout our stay, our daughters enjoyed a variety of activities, both inside the game room and outside with access to kayaks and paddle boards on the property. Needless to say, there wasn’t a dull moment in a setting with so many options and a drivable radius to other activities in the area. Although we were a distance from Bridgewater Marina, the drive was pleasant and scenic. If you own a boat or have a rental, the docks will be perfect! Also, the simple beauty of the panoramic landscape was thoroughly enjoyed on our bike rides to nearby Vista Pointe without the concern of heavy traffic. Since this was my first VRBO experience, I was impressed by the hosts who are so accommodating and responsive. As my family reflects on our stay for the week, the experiences are now sweet and lasting memories.

Look no further absolutely beautiful property.

Everything was as described in the listing. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for our family meals. The parking was perfect for all of our vehicles. The games inside & out was a true hit for our group. The kayaks were a favorite for our fishermen & the paddle boards looked fun but the water was a little chilly. Overall Amazing Stay…

Photos can’t capture the beauty

This home in my opinion is on the most beautiful portion of the lake. I could not tell from the maps when choosing the home, but the mountain and lake view are spectacular. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for large family meals. The neighborhood was very safe and peaceful for morning walks. We brought our own pontoon and had adequate trailer and truck parking to the right of the house along with four other cars. It was 50 minutes to Liberty for graduation, but the drive was worth it. We had a great family weekend. I highly recommend this home.

Great experience!

We stayed for a long weekend in April 2024. The check in process and communication from Emily before during and after our stay was great! We LOVED the views and the dock was great for our rented pontoon boat. Highly recommend!

Great view & Great for Families

We had a very relaxing stay with an amazing view of the lake. It was so relaxing. The game room was a wonderful asset for the children and the outside amenities were very nice to have as well. I appreciated how responsive the owners were to all of my questions. We will definitely come back and can’t wait for that time to come!

Chateau Relaxeau is at the best location on the lake with breathtaking views of Smith Mountain and easy lake access to many restaurants, marinas, state park hiking trails, kids activities, parks, wineries, etc. There's plenty of space for large groups both indoor and out and 2 large stationary and 2 floating docks for enjoying the lake.
