Welcome to your Lake Gaston retreat at Shore Thing Lake House! This three-story home combines comfort, convenience, and plenty of ways to relax. Guests enjoy private neighborhood lake access with a boat slip, boat launch, and pavilion with grills and picnic tables. Bring your own boat or rent from one of the many nearby marinas.

When you aren't enjoying the lake, relax around the stone firepit on smooth river rocks, with a smokeless insert and Adirondack chairs — the perfect spot for s’mores, stargazing, or sharing stories after a day on the water.

This large property being surrounded by trees makes you feel secluded, while still being steps away from the lake. With a wrap around deck that allows you to oversee nature and the excitement at the fire-pit.

The long asphalt driveway leaves plenty of room to park your boat and comfortably fits 4-6 cars.

The first floor (main floor of the house) features a vaulted ceiling with large windows that wrap around, letting natural light in from all sides. The living room provides couch seating, board games, smart TV with Netflix, and gas fireplace. Perfect for cozy nights in. There is a large dining table set for 6, with an additional 4 bar seats included at the island. The kitchen offers a coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, air fryer, microwave, oven, and stove top. You’ll also find the master bedroom connected to the master bathroom, featuring his and her vanities and a walk-in tile shower with bench. Through the large laundry room will lead you to two additional bedrooms and full bathroom. Giving you a total of 7 beds on the main floor.

The top floor offers a balcony with a twin bed, convertible couch, and Murphy bed for added sleeping space and room for activities.

Making your way to the basement, you’ll find a second living area, complete with couches, dimming recessed lights, and a 72” smart TV. Making it the ideal theatre room to watch movies with friends and family. Down the hall there is an extra bedroom with a king size bed and a full bath.

Outside, there is a gated wrap around deck and covered porch with a variety of cushioned outdoor seating. You will also find a propane grill, perfect for cooking and entertaining outside.

Pets Allowed.

Guests will have access to the whole house and property, including the dock, boat slip, and pavilion. Guests will not have access to the garage.

The firepit, firewood, and grill are all available for guest use. We also have space heaters for those cooler months.

Laundry, mini-fridge, and gas fireplace are also available for use.

Other things to note
- Maximum of two dogs. Message us for exceptions.
- Bed and towel linens are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
- We will leave you stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags, but if you will be staying more than a couple of days, plan to bring your own supply.
- Trash dump is located near the front entrance of the neighborhood
- The nearest grocery store is 15-20 minutes away

Great mix of family friendly spaces and adult hang out spots.
