Kick back in this stylish vintage beach house, situated in the historic 1940s motor court right on scenic A1A, steps from the ocean! Anastasia Lodge Cabana is located on the Golden Mile of Old St. Augustine Beach, so this coastal haven is walking/biking distance to local restaurants and just a short drive to historic downtown.

The main home boasts two inviting bedrooms, and the third bedroom is a separate cabana out by the pool offering a futon bed and half bathroom. Additional amenties include a full kitchen, surf and paddle board, a plunge pool, and towels. A pool bath with an outdoor shower for beach days is located in the private courtyard. Just bring your suitcase and enjoy a calming retreat by the sea! You'll find cable TV and free WiFi here for all your entertainment needs. Central air-conditioning keeps everybody cool, and a private washer and dryer makes laundry easy.

This bright and airy jewel was deemed the Anastasia Lodge Cabana by local surfers and beach-goers due to its relaxed old-Florida appeal and ideal location, near the most gorgeous surfing beaches around. This historic cottage is located on the vast, non-driving part of the beach, across from the entrance to the beautiful Anastasia State Park; the views are absolutely pristine!

The State Park is full of nature and bird preserves. Your peaceful morning walks will go on for miles filled with endless natural beauty - it's a photographer's paradise! Peek out the living room windows towards the Anastasia State Park Beach Access just across the street, then walk out the front gate and stroll over to put your toes in the sand or have morning coffee at the famous FA's Cafe! FA is an old local surfer's term for First Access to the surf break/waves. This is a perfect spot for swimming, fishing, or watching local paddle boarders and surfers enjoying our salty St. Augustine lifestyle near the Pier.

Walk right across the street to the Wednesday morning oceanside farmer's market for local goodies or walk next door to Salt Life Food Shack for lunch with ocean views, just minutes to the downtown shopping & nightlife!

We loved the house and the location, but communication with the host was awful! They would not respond, when we did get an answer it was to direst us to someone else. We waited for over an hour to get into the house and then waited 2 days for the WiFi password. Would not stay with this company again sadly

The house was extremely clean on arrival! The hosts had supplied toiletries in each bathroom and plenty of bath & beach towels. The pool area outside was excellent!! Comfy rocking chairs were under covered awnings and were so nice to sit out and enjoy morning coffee. The pool was absolutely refreshing and the cabana had extra floats and pool toys available for use. The only “issue” was that the freezer door would pop open whenever we would close the refrigerator doors so if you weren’t paying attention it could be a problem. I wish we had more sunny days to be able to enjoy the outdoors more but we made due and the close proximity of restaurants and the beach was great. Overall this trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to make this an annual trip!

The house was clean except all of the air conditioning vents, all were dusty. The air conditioning unit in the family room shot out black particles. The freezer door would stick and not shut all of the way, starting to defrost popsicles. The pool was never cleaned, lots of sand in the bottom. Pool guy never came as stated in description.

Nice place but listing is misleading

The place overall is nice and is in a good location near the beach, Anastasia park, and restaurants. The listing had heated pool in the amenities but the pool was not heated which we were notified after we booked and were unable to get a refund. The listing also says 3BR/2.5BA, but it’s really 2BR/2BA. The pool cabana and beach equipment is unavailable to guests despite being in the pictures and advertised in the listing.

Great stay with two families

We stayed 3 days here with two families (4 adults, 3 young children) and it was a wonderful stay! The bungalow is small but enough space for privacy and shared spaces. The kids shared the sofa bed (there are two). The pool is small but enough to lounge and for us to do a few strokes. We used it at least twice a day. The kids loved it. Kitchen is ok- enough for us to do two pasta meals and a lot of restaurants that are walkable or short drive - lots of good food. Its noted the oven doesn't seal well (we didn't use it) and same with the freezer - it would sometimes pop open. Used stove. There are some beach supplies we used which was great. Location is at end of beach - walkable 1 block or drivable. It is close the city of St. Augustine - we went into the city twice too. Only wish was more towels, but they did have a washer dryer so it was fine. It was great for us for a low key relaxing beach stay.

St. Augustine wedding

The home is amazing. We were there for my son’s wedding in town. The location is perfect. Beach is across the street, restaurants in walking distance, stores close by. The home description on your web site needs to be adjusted to show as a two bedroom. The third bedroom is not a bedroom. It is a pool house with a futon. The pool house smells of a strong chemical smell and dead ants keep reappearing on the futon daily. A human can not sleep in there for fear of health issues with the smell and ants biting them. We did count of that bedroom as a room and it was a problem with a bedroom not available. A member of our party had to sleep on the main living room couch. We had an infant and the room needed to be available during the night and early morning hours. With someone sleeping in living room it was difficult for my daughter to care for her baby and difficult for my son to sleep. For the next renter that should be adjusted to show two bedrooms. We really did enjoy the home. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. The back yard is so much fun. We enjoyed the pool. Thank you for renting to us for our mini vacation for my son’s wedding.

Lovely Beach Bungalow with an Incredible Location

We have loved our time at this amazing rental home. The beach is just steps away and the included surfboard was such a thoughtful touch. The backyard plunge pool was just what we needed with five kids ages 5 to 13. I highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to come back!

Darling Beach Cottage

This is our second time renting this property and we love it. Will definitely try to get it again when we come back to St Augustine. Darling Cottage that looks like the pictures, a short walk to the beach, awesome pool and comfortable mattresses (we slept great). Definitely our favorite place to stay (we come every year)

Excellent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and the pool was a nice added amenity. Close to a ton of bars, restaurants, cafes, and shops. Only 10-15 min drive from Old Town. We did not have trouble getting an Uber to and from. Beautifully updated, spacious, and comfortable. Our only wish is that we could’ve stayed longer!

Better than expected!

Thank you for sharing this AWESOME property. We had the best time ever.. swimming, fishing, and just chillen'. The house was comfortable and felt like a home that options for everyone, from family movie time to separate "space" time, to family fun in the oasis back yard, also located accessible to shopping, beaching, or downtown life. Looking forward to another visit soon!

Cozy beach house

This little house was very cute and fit our family's needs - two adults and two teens. There are two bedrooms and two living areas with pull out sofas. Overall the place was large enough for our family of four. Having the pool was nice when we wanted to get a break and the covered back porch was wonderful for watching the rain. This is an older house so if you have an expectation of large and spacious areas you should reframe your perspective. If you like 50s / 60s cottages then this is your cup of tea. The location of the house is convenient to the beach, the pier, and to some really cute dining establishments. We enjoyed listening to the music from Salt Life in the evening if you are on the back deck. We had to work with the property manager on two separate issues (very loose bedroom door knob and a broken lamp) and they were responsive and helpful for both incidents. The house was clean when we arrived however I would recommend that the cleaning crew dust the air vents from time to time. One point of caution regarding the wood deck - splinters. We would highly recommend not walking barefoot on them as we had two major splinter incidents during our stay with each splinter being about an inch long. Thankfully we had packed a first aid kit and all was well but the decking is wood and it is subjected to Florida weather and a pool. Overall we really loved this house and would highly recommend it! Its a true gem.

Great Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed June 6-13th. House was clean and well appointed. Pool is great and location was very convenient. Would recommend any property managed by Turn Key. They were awesome to deal with and very responsive. My only suggestion would be to organize kitchen better.
