We had a great visit to Mission Beach. It was conveniently located and having all the available or to rental from the owner - chairs, umbrellas, SUP boards, bikes - was great! We had two adults and two kids and it felt like plenty of space. The garage is tight (we had a Hyundai palisade) but you can fit in carefully. The house was also well stocked with everything else that you need from cookware to beach towels. Thanks to Karin and family for their hospitality and quick communication.

Location was excellent! Close walking distance to restaurants, beach, shops, and entertainment but on a quiet street. Well-stocked kitchen, very comfortable living area, great shower, lovely front patio area. Property owner was very quick to respond when we had a couple of minor issues. We had a great stay!

Hi Candace, Thank you for staying with us. I actually looked back through our text messages and was so happy to see your note that, "We have all been enjoying your home!" Hearing that is always my goal, and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I was surprised to see your 3-star rating based on the size of the cottage. Our listing includes the square footage, a detailed description, and photos that accurately represent the space before booking. While our home is intentionally a cozy beach cottage (it's even called Mission Beach Cozy Cottage), many guests comment that the abundant natural light and open layout make it feel much more spacious than they expected. We understand that every traveler has different preferences, and our cottage may not be the right fit for someone looking for a larger home. For guests seeking a charming, thoughtfully designed beach cottage, fully loaded with everything to make your stay comfortable and fun in Mission Beach, we hope our listing—and our mostly 5-star reviews—helps set accurate expectations. We wish you all the best and appreciate you choosing to stay with us.

Incredible location! 1 block to Mission Bay, 2 blocks to Mission Beach. Several excellent restaurants, bars, coffee shops, & activities in easy walking distance. Can’t beat it! The property is nicely situated and has all the amenities you need to have a great stay. The patio is an underrated feature, and we had it to ourselves during the stay. The garage is a nice feature yet was really tight for my SUV, just make sure to check your dimensions ahead of time. Would definitely stay here again.
