We live in the area but not on this property. You'll have private use of the the entire space, inside & out.

Enjoy all Shawnee State Park & Forest have to offer. The property borders the forest but is right off of State Route 125. Shopping and dining in Portsmouth's Historic Boneyfiddle District is only 15-20 minutes away.



You'll have the entire house and yard to yourself. The barn is currently being cleaned out and is unavailable for guest use.

Good spot near Shawnee. Beds are comfortable, kitchen and dining areas are large, bathroom and laundry are nice. The kitchen has all the utensils, dishes, pots and pans you need but bring your own spices, condiments, paper towels, etc. I would def stay here again.

Great stay. This home is huge and spacious and was very clean and well kept. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Would highly recommend!

This was a cool property! We wish we had more time to explore the area. The house had an older smell which was prevalent on our clothing the next day. We loved that it was fenced in for our dog to be off leash. However, there was broken glass by the base of the porch and numerous bees. Our dog got stung on our visit. We also had no phone service with Verizon. Google Maps took us through the back roads and we lost our map and service about ten minutes out. We made it after a 45 minute delay. The home was great for dogs with a lot of space!

The host was a perfect host . She was there for all of my needs .i coundnt have ask for anyone better. But one think needs some attention. The furniture is rock hard very uncomfortable everything else was ok

Listing description is pretty accurate. The place was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Extremely short distance to Shawnee. AC was cool when we arrived, which was much appreciated. The bed was comfortable with an additional fan in each room. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage was spacious and clean. We enjoyed taking in the pretty views from the wide front porch with our morning coffee. Access was easy, but it still feels private. It was a lovely stay!
