PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:
Warm up in the desert this winter! This newly renovated historic bungalow is fresh, cozy, and pet-friendly. Perfect for couples, small families, or a few close friends. The convenient uptown location is close to the airport, Downtown, Roosevelt Arts District, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Phoenix Country Club, and trendy restaurants.
Sightsee around Phoenix during the day, play games in the backyard, and gather around the firepit with friends at night.

ABOUT THIS HOUSE:
This historic bungalow was built in 1931 and was recently renovated by a professional interior designer. Enjoy the abundant natural light and a cozy historic details preserved during the renovation, inspired by the old farmlands that used to be in this part of Phoenix.
The kitchen is complete with all necessary cooking utensils, wine & cocktail glasses, and a gas range for those that enjoy cooking over a flame. A compact combo washer/dryer and all laundry essentials are also provided in the kitchen/pantry to help refresh a small load of laundry during your stay. If you need more robust laundry service during your stay we have a local laundry wash & fold service partner that will pickup at the house, and dropoff within 24 hours!
The family room is complete with 50-inch TV, sound system, record player, and comfy sofa with cozy blankets if you're in the mood for a quiet movie-night at home. Books, games & puzzles are also provided to enjoy during your stay! For a little extra ambiance, turn on the fireplace with LED candles - it's a great place to cozy up in the corner with a good book and a cup of tea if you feel like staying in.
If you prefer to spend your time outdoors, the huge backyard will keep you entertained. Fire up the gas BBQ to grill up some dinner, dine al fresco at the picnic table, play cornhole and/or work on your soccer skills, and enjoy the propane firepit on cool Phoenix nights.
Bathroom is stocked with basic toiletry essentials from Public Goods (shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap/lotion), and plush hotel-grade towels. Some additional amenities are provided in the vanity should you need them: toothbrush/toothpaste, feminine products, earplugs, etc.
Bedrooms feature memory foam mattresses and hotel-quality cotton sheets. Synthetic down pillows and comforters will wrap you in comfort for a good night's sleep. All bedrooms include blinds and blackout drapery, wireless charging devices on the nightstands, and luggage racks.

For your furry friends we have a medium dog bed, dog bowls, leash & poo bags available for your use free of charge. The dog bowls are below the coffee maker, and dog bed is stored under the bed in room #1 if needed. (please note: These items may have been used by other dogs and are not always washed after use - if this is an issue, please bring your pet's comfort items with you!)
Free parking in driveway - room for 3 vehicles parked end to end, and some additional street parking out front.

ACCESS & SECURITY:
Electronic keyless entry is provided on the front door. A custom access code will be created before your stay, and shared with you the morning of check-in.
Parking in driveway, up to 3 cars end to end. Try to limit street parking overnight. No RV's, please!
Please note: one of the closets will be locked for storage of owner items. Additional clothing storage / dressers are provided for your use!

This is an owner-managed rental, so you will only speak with Colleen or Eric during your stay. We will be reachable through Messenger, and our direct cell phone numbers are provided in the home in case of emergency. We will do our best to respond quickly, but please note that late-night messages may not be responded to until the following morning.

Landscaper:
Comes once per month - day of the week varies. We will message if their monthly service will occur while you're renting the house. They will do their best to be fast to limit disruption during your stay.
Trash Collection:
City of Phoenix trash & recycle pickup service is collected from the trash bins every Tuesday morning. Trash bins are located on the side of the home, and need to be rolled down the driveway and into the street if they need to be emptied during your stay.
Security Cameras :
For safety and security, two (2) exterior video cameras are located at front entry (doorbell & driveway). These will remain active during your stay.
Commercial Photography/Videography:
Our home can be booked for short-term commercial photo/video shoots, but is subject to a separate rental contract and hourly rate. If you are interested in this option please reach out prior to booking to discuss your needs.
AZ Tax Info:
