Can Lledo es única - moderna, amplia y con espacio abierto, además conserva muchos de sus acabados originales. Ubicada a una altura de 400 m sobre el nivel del mar, esta casa ofrece increíbles vistas panorámicas. La propiedad tiene un área de 54 acres con hermosos jardínes, una piscina infinita maravillosa y muchos senderos naturales para explorar. El interior es elegante y moderno y todas las habitaciones fueron amuebladas delicadamente. En la planta superior hay 4 habitaciones dobles (1 con terraza) y 1 habitación para niños con literas. En la planta inferior hay una habitación doble con camas gemelas. Todas las habitaciones tienen cuartos de baño. La zona de estar tiene una cocina abierta ben equipada y un comedor para 12 personas. Junto a la cocina hay un lavadero. Junto a la sala de televisión está el cuarto de juego, el cual tiene mesa de ping-pong, fútbolito y dardos. La cocina se comunica con un comedor al aire libre con parrilla junto a la piscina.

It's an amazing place. My wife and I were there with our three children, ages 5, 3, and 1. It can easily fit another family of that size. Nicola is very responsive and accommodating. The property manager, Parker, met us on-site in the morning to check in, make sure everything was okay, and take care of a few things around the property, but not in an annoying way!The towns surrounding the house are about 20-30 minutes away and have a unique Spanish charm. Girona, which is a little farther away, is beautiful. The drive from Barcelona airport is easily manageable with a car rental. Thanks for having us. GM

Can Lledo is a truely wonderful place to relax and enjoy life

Fabulous family vacation in a wonderful location. The time went too quickly, would repeat again in a minute. Everything was as promised and more, not to mention that Parker, the groundsman, was extremely friendly and helpful.

A little piece of heaven in the hills of Spain!

I loved it here! Beautiful villa, stunning pool views and all the extras you'd ever wish for in a holiday rental. Great for all ages, and the two children we had with us in the group had a fabulous time. We will definitely be back! Thank you for such a special time!

Incredible house for the perfect holiday

This place was really great - it's a beautiful house which is very well maintained, offering great entertainment for kids (games, trampoline, lot of space, pool) and adults (lounge, tennis court, etc.). The location gives a lot of privacy and incredible views and outlook. Great interaction and quick reply by the owner and well supported by house keeper on the ground. Thanks - amazing place i would recommend to larger families and groups!

The Most Beautiful Place....

We have stayed here 3 times now and every holiday has been amazing. The views are breathtaking, the pool is brilliant for both small and big children and the house lends its self to being both social and also having separate areas. We had a chef one evening that came and cooked giant prawns and squid on the bbq that the owners arranged for us - I would highly recommend this! What a wonderful house to stay in that I cannot recommend highly enough.

4 nights of bliss

My four nights at Can Lledo were the first I had spent away from my daughter since her birth and there couldn't have been anywhere better to be. Everything about this house is wonderful - the views, the luxe bedrooms/bathrooms/kitchen etc, the general feeling of space, the pool, the location - not too far from anywhere but just isolated enough to feel really peaceful. This house is a true gem - not one to be missed.

Summer in Spain

Every couple of years a group (8) of us get together to celebrate milestone birthdays...this is the third such get together after Tuscany and Provence. Can Lledo was just fantastic. The property was first class, amenities great and the pool was "to die for"....and the weather... I can thoroughly recommend it...

Idyllic location, perfect for a golf break

I stayed at this beautiful property with two friends for long golfing weekend in early October. Access is very quick from Girona airport -and the property has been reconstructed to 5* standard throughout. The view is exceptional, the house most comfortable and the weather throughout our stay was perfect. We played PGA Catalunia and Gold D'Aro - both within ready driving distance. For golfers (and any non-golfing other halves) - this is a wonderful place to go for a week's break. Very strongly recommended.

Truly stunning villa and location

The best part of staying at Can Lledo was opening the bedroom window in the morning and seeing the breathtaking view. That combined with the peace and tranquility of the setting and beautiful interior created by Nicola and Nicholas makes for a really fabulous holiday. It's also worth mentioning that Girona airport is really convenient and with Barcelona an hour away this is a great spot for opening up Catalonia - a hire car is a must to make the most of it. I would absolutely recommend this villa, it is big and versatile and an ideal base from which to explore the region, with the benefit of rural tranquility for days by the pool and views to die for.

Family vacation at Can Lledo

This is a gorgeous home with amazing property and amenities. It is impossible to list all the extra features that make it special. Their caretaker (Parker) is a joy to work with. There were some challenges: power going out several times, flies and hornets, and the long and windy road to get to and from the property. It is worth all of that for this spectacular home, gorgeous pool and tennis court, trampoline, etc. etc. Perfect for a large family.

A villa of the highest quality in a great location

Slightly off the beaten track, this villa is more reminiscent of a luxury pad near St Tropez than the rolling hills of Catalonia. The set up is first class with excellent facilities, including some superb quality bathrooms (some with amazing views) and bedrooms as well as a well fitted out kitchen. The grounds are spacious with plenty of room for a large group to spread out in, enjoying the gardens, views and, of course, the pool. Whilst there, my group took advantage of a number of the excellent golf courses, many only a short drive from the villa, including PGA Catalunya, Golf d'Aro and Golf Girona. Overall, an excellent villa that I would certainly recommend.

Picture Perfect

This has been the staycation of a lifetime for a large family gathering. Spacious, well thought out and incredibly comfortable. Parker is the best caretaker we have ever come across. He was charming and helpful and showed us around, but did not intrude. We loved the outside seating area and the chance to relax. The property has everything that you could ever want, and it was very clean throughout. The views are breathtaking and we felt so secluded and peaceful. We didn’t venture out - why would you when you have everything within the property?

Stunning retreat

Perfect house for a family holiday. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's a short ride from Girona airport, in the most glorious of settings and a heaven for kids!! There is a pool, tennis court, trampoline and great games room. This in turn meant it was a heaven for the adults as they were kept entertained. The house is big and well equipped so no one felt on top of each other which is a big bonus when there are 6 adults and 6 kids !! There was lots to do in the vicinity and although we were all quite happy staying in at night there are some great restaurants near by. If you are going with children and fancy a night out I would suggest visiting Monelles. Highly recommend visiting this beautiful corner of the world xx

Amazing week in Can Lledo

We rented this fabulous villa as a group of 11 (3 families) and cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience. Great communication in advance from the hosts. Arrival was super easy with a very warm welcome from Parker (and Simba!). Its a really special house and we felt at home straight away. Really spacious and well equipped. Amazing grounds and we all loved the pool, tennis court, tree house and just generally exploring the extensive grounds. The surrounding area is fascinating and we took trips to Girona, Figueres, Monells and to the beach of Sant Pol which was a big hit with the kids especially. Finished our stay off with a trip to Cadaqués to complete the Dali experience - well worth a visit. Thank you for letting is stay at your beautiful home - we hope very much to come back !!!

A wonderful week that was :)

Thank-you so much for a wonderful stay - the house is beautiful, comfortable and full of light. I loved the feel of the wooden floors under my feet in the upstairs rooms, and the coolness of the breeze through sliding doors to the wonderful land around... The views of the hillsides looking out to the coast are absolutely stunning. When we arrived through Girona there had been some light rain and as we rose up through the hills it became a beautiful mist which filled the valleys and as the light shone through it was like a rainforest scene! Incredible scenery, especially the sunrise over the mediterranean views, and a fantastic location. Accessible but perfectly secluded. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely recommend it, Thank-you for all your help in making it a special week for us all, xxxx

A perfect holiday setting.

Having recently returned from a wonderful holiday to Can Lledo my lasting impression is of the beautiful setting. Nestled high in the hills of a beautiful forest It offers spectacular views looking over the unspoilt catalan countryside, right down to the ocean. It has been landscaped beautifully with a herb garden, lemon trees and lavender and poppies cascade the hills, attracting a swarm of beautiful butterflies. Within the farmhouse all the rooms are light and modern, maintaining a stylish character and all have large windows ensuring the beautiful views are there on display. We stayed here with 7 small children and everyone was able to enjoy the amazing facilities. From an infinity pool, to a tennis court, to a tree house, to a trampoline, to an amazing games room, to lovely little secluded areas ,there were ideal holiday activities for all ages. A perfect holiday setting.

Something for Everyone

I've been to Can Lledo a few times now and I love it more and more each time. Each new trip I discover something new about the house or the surrounding countryside. It has a bit of everything - adventure, relaxation, luxury, fun, sun, tranquility, privacy... The house is a great mixture of old charm and modern convenience and the location and views are stunning. When you have spent the day by the pool, on the beach, roaming the countryside, playing table tennis etc. there is then a great selection of varied restaurants all within a short distance. It's also comforting to discover that the owner takes a very hands-on approach to the maintenance and service of the house which results in a great all round experience. I am going back and would definitely recommend it for a wide range of holidays...

Wonderful in Every Way

We, 5 of us, spent upwards of a week at Can Lledo in May and I must say, it was one of the best holidays we've spent anywhere. The villa is perfection with plenty of room for all of us (and more), an expansive view of the mountains, town, and Mediterranean, a gorgeous pool, excellent service from Sara and Tony, and on and on. The use of the Jeep was fantastic as we were able to drive at our leisure around the fantastic Costa Brava region. The house and grounds were perfectly maintained exactly as the photographs indicated. We particularly enjoyed several delicious lunches in surrounding towns and Tony's prepared supper was a delight. Both Sara and Tony were wonderful guides. We love them We were grateful for the booklet prepared by the owners which listed, often with photos, attractions, maps, activities, and restaurants. I highly recommend Can Lledo in every way. Can't wait to return with more friends!

A Stunning home with stunning views

It is not often anywhere I go exceeds my expectations, ESPECIALLY with children... but Can Lledo did just that. It was the perfect getaway with (or would be amazing without) kids. I can’t think of the last time I was so relaxed and enjoyed myself... it was definitely before children. It was just that, it was an actual Getaway. The views were incredible, the food and cava were even better than I had anticipated. It is paradise. I stopped several times throughout my stay to just enjoy the view. Everything is absolutely stunning. Can Lledo is a fabulous house with enough space to really spread out if you needed. Great for entertaining or separating the adults from the kids. It’s an amazingly thought out home. I am not one to ever write a review, so this should explain just how marvellous Can Lledo is for any kind of holiday you are looking for. Photos can’t do it justice.

A piece of Paradise

If you are looking for a peaceful stay away then this dream Villa is the one you are looking for. Surrounded by mountains it offers a views you will never forget. Just take a seat in the balcony, by the pool or some of many places around the house and relax. We stayed there with three families 6 adults and 6 children and everyone found a preferred activity the house offered - the kids enjoyed the heated pool (cost some extra but was worth it in the middle of autumn :)), as the adults were playing tennis and basketball and some of quest were even picking the mushrooms on the site :). The house was equipped with everything you need and in case you need a help, Parker, a really nice guy, looking at the household there, was always nearby and happy to help you. Make you shopping in Cassa de la Selva, in Caprabo . Nicola can give you good tips what you can buy there. If you are to lazy to cook for yourself, we suggest to use Cafe Frankfurt for take away. We used them in the last evening and the food we got was really good, also reasonable priced. Our best recommendations for this house, hope to come back here.

We are a married couple Nicola and Nicholas, both english, with 4 gorgeous boys between us, and a sausage dog. I grew up in London and Nicholas in Hampshire. I am a teacher and author, and Nicholas works in finance. We fell in love with the concept of the house and area when we first met 10 years ago. I speak Spanish and Nicholas had experience in property design, and we took it from there! It was amazing seeing the old ruin turn into the stunning villa it is today, and we have loved adding on to it year after year... the pool, games area, tennis court, terraced land, extending walking routes, building the chill out area, etc etc. We think the area is a unique and special secret too...the evergreen mixed with palm trees, the picture perfect nearby towns each centred around a church, the poppy or sunflower filled fields, the beaches that either stretch for miles of sand, or are tucked away coves with incredible restaurants. I could go on! But it really is an area of the world that has something very special about it. We love our house Can Lledo, and we love the area, and Catalunya, and hope you have a fabulous holiday here too.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The house has an incredible location, with extensive views over the hills down to the coast. It is nestled in the hills and feels a million miles from anywhere, and yet you can be in the local town in less than 15 minutes, and at the beach in 25 minutes. Once at the house it can be hard to leave though..there is so much to do there whether you want to stay by the pool all day, play tennis, hike around the land, enjoy the indoor games room, trampoline with the children, play boules or badminton, or just chill with a glass of wine and watch the world go by - all be it butterflies and birds! The sense of peace you feel when you arrive at the house is so rare to find in life (especially for us as Londoners) and you really can feel your whole body relax. The sunrises will blow you away, and the sun sets behind the house, so you don't get the glorious reds pinks and purples of the dawn, but the twinkly lights of the coast provide a picturesque end to the day.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We have designed the house to retain its original farmhouse exterior and features, and yet made it open plan, modern and spacious. Using large windows was seen as am impractical thing to do as traditional 'masias' are built with small windows to retain heat in the winter, and keep the house cool in the summer. Yet with views like that we knew we had to maximise the opportunity to see them! So that element adds to the wonderful feel of the house - wherever you are inside, you can see the hills. Unless you're in the TV room, which we designed to be cosy, cool, and away from the sunlight!
The design of the swimming pool, and its position, again allows you to fully maximise those incredible views, with an infinity pool feel, and decking.

The house and land feels very spacious, and the children can be playing in the games room, without disturbing the adults outside...or a group on the tennis court while another group sits by the pool... or you can all be together! Each bedroom is uniquely decorated, and has its own feel. All 6 bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom, which means that you never feel on top of each other, and have your own privacy.
