Arrived to very strong skunk smell and piece of unused cigarette inside on window sill not cleaned up after supposedly a non smoking listing Wi-Fi was expected but was not available and after repeated communication with host and multiple days of waiting on technician we finally gave up luckily the neighborhood was more than willing to turn up what they had was overpriced and host decided gaslighting us was better than addressing our issues thanks Vrbo for vetting the properties you represent

Our stay was disappointing due to a serious security issue that was never addressed. The front door would not lock properly, and although we immediately notified the owner, we received no response or assistance during our stay.The inability to secure the door made us uncomfortable and concerned about our belongings. Most frustrating was the lack of communication regarding such an important safety issue.Maintenance problems can happen, but guest safety and responsiveness are essential. Unfortunately, this experience fell short, and I cannot recommend this property based on how the situation was handled.

The checkin was terrible, upon arriving the host was still somewhat cleaning the house. Washing machine did not work, had dirty water in the machine. Upon returning back to the house on the next night. Another guest had checked into the same house. The guest informed us the host allowed them to checkin a few days early. So the host is not changing out the door code. So we ended up packing up our things, and contacted Vrbo due to the host not responding due to overbooking due to the next guest already sitting in the house on the couch. This could have been very dangerous and thank God nothing was missing from our items in the house. Still awaiting a refund due to overbooking.

This house is cute! The photos in VRBO are a good representation of the home. Everything has been recently remodeled in a tasteful way, so it is like a new home. The beds were comfortable. The best part, it is so convenient to the Tampa Cruise port. It is less than a 15 minute drive. Rodrigo was quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. When I cruise out of Tampa I will be sure to look for this home.

The property was fine for the time we were there; however, it would have been nice to have a larger skillet - there was one small skillet, not enough to make breakfast or dinner. Also, my main concern was there was no hot water for the shower, the sinks had hot water, but not the shower, it was luke warm at best. I called the owner/property manager and left a voice message about this problem but never received a call back. There were no napkins or paper towels. Also, no towel racks which I thought was odd. The wash machine was also out of service. The ice maker was also not working. I've stayed in many VRBO's and they've all been way more accommodating than this property. This is not the property to rent if you want to do cooking or take a warm shower/bath or wash a load of laundry. Also, it would have been nice to have a bbq grill. I would not recommend this property for any stays over one night.

We pulled up around 2:15pm for check in and left within 5 minutes. We booked a last minute hotel instead. The owner was “moving things around” and watched him bring out what appeared to be personal belongings. My husband was on the sidewalk and stated he could smell the stench of the house from there. Neighborhood is definitely the slums of Tampa. We’re relatively chill people when it comes to not so great properties, but this is a first for us to completely leave and eat the cost. Around 3:30 I received a message that the house was now ready and they had to replace the router. They were doing a lot more than just that. VRBO needs to remove this property and not allow the host to rent it out to others. When we booked two weeks prior to our 6/13 stay, the most recent poor reviews were not posted. If they were we never would’ve booked this place.

Booked for one night for a show at the amphitheater and couldn’t even stay. First of all when we arrived if it wasn’t for the mailbox we would have missed the house cause it’s missing a number on the posted house address. Also the yard is full of trash and debris and the roof over the porch is damaged and looks unsafe. Once we entered we immediately noticed the smell of stale cigarette smoke (even though this place advertises as non smoking) and we found cigarette ashes in one of the bedroom window sills. The floors and baseboards are filthy and even towels in the bathroom were stained and dirty and also a disgusting bonus was GREEN ice cubes in the filthy stained fridge/freezer.Also, the wifi was unavailable/not working and I had seen that was an issue from The previous guest that had stayed the night before and obviously not deemed important enough to fix. The surrounding area is less than desirable and the fact that your source of safety is a keypad with a combination that is generic and super easy to access is irresponsible and dangerous in my opinion. The owner is not reachable and my message was never responded to leading up to the booking -just received the generic copy paste insert my name message that everyone gets I’m sure. This space is not a recommended stay at all and if you value safety and basic cleanliness then this is not the stay for you. 0/10 do not recommend.
