Great location and distance to a gorgeous beach. Loved that there were some toys and chairs available for our use as well. Also, easily the best mattress experience I’ve had for a rental. The bed I had felt like a brand new mattress.

Stunning location, responsive host

The beach is a short walk away and GORGEOUS. We swam in May. The decks quite literally wrap around multipe floors of the house and have nice views. It was very comfortable and clean. Quick drive to P-town. Super worth it.

This place is nicely located ish but it is a dump.The dishwasher was held together with spit and glue and worst of all, there was no hot water in the showers. Next time I am certain it will be better for my family to use a real real estate agent.

I sincerely apologize about the dishwasher troubles during your stay. You're absolutely right that we had to make two service calls to get the proper parts, and I understand how frustrating that must have been. Regarding the hot water issue, I wish you had reached out during your stay so I could have addressed it immediately - I would have been happy to send someone right over to resolve it. I hope you were still able to enjoy this well loved, rustic retreat nestled in Truro. Great house, perfect location to walk to the beach.

Great experience. Plenty of room for a large family on multi levels. House worked out perfectly for us. We were able to walk to a nice small beach without a large crowd from the house.

The location was superb with an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved all the decks. Luckily it wasn't too hot as the air conditioning wasn't great. It cooled off over night so we were fine.

Great area and comfortable house

The house is a bit worn but very comfortable with good privacy and a feeling of seclusion. There are many large windows and doors giving the house an open feeling and light. The weather was colder and rainy during our stay so we didn’t use the decks or grill. Kitchen seemed well equipped. The management company was great.

Peaceful Getaway

The house is just as described. It's in a really quiet, woodsy area. Truro is the place you want to be in order to avoid traffic and experience the beauty of Cape Cod National Seashore. The house is worn in -- I say that in a very positive way because you don't feel like you are staying in a museum. Great experience.

Great house, comfortable beds, basement smelled a little bit like a summer basement (no surprise) but VERY clean. Beautiful kitchen and comfortable sitting area. Be sure to bring extra towels unless you are paying for the extra towel service (this seems to be happening more on the cape recently, even with expensive rentals). We would ABSOLUTELY stay again.

Spacious and perfect for large groups

It’s a great property. So gorgeous and there was plenty of room to accommodate. The pictures don’t do it justice. Be warned though, there were so many flies and dried bugs on the floor, drawers, and other areas of the house. Housekeeping needs work.

Wonderful accommodations, great location

The property was very clean and well laid out inside for a large group. The grill was in working order with extra propane tanks, and the property manager was very responsive to our questions. It’s a very short walk to beautiful Great Hollow beach so the location is fabulous. There’s a great restaurant close by called Black Fish which is a nice option without having to go too far. My only wish is that check in and check out times were more generous but it seems like this is becoming more common. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again. Great place!

Truro in August

Our overall stay was very nice: great weather, Truro beaches are the most beautiful in the world, and Provincetown is right next door. We fit 10 adults ( 2 families) comfortably, but there are a few improvements that would have made our stay even better. First, the grill is rusting out. The cooking surface was ok, but the bottom looked like it would fall over in a strong breeze. A lobster pot in the kitchen would have been nice. What's the cape without a lobster dinner? The driveway is very overgrown with picker bushes. There is barely enough room on either side of the car to enter or exit ( we drive a Honda Pilot). We rented the first week in August and it didn't look like the bushes had been trimmed all summer. Finally, a table on the deck would have made it nice to enjoy breakfast or dinner outside. While there were several deck chairs ( and several decks) there was nowhere to sit and eat. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we appreciated the linens and towels that were provided.

Great Location, lots of room, but this house needs some love

This is a great piece of property, in an excellent location, with lots of space and wonderful decks on all three levels. Unfortunately, it seems to have been rented out for a long time to people who really beat it up, and the owners haven't kept it clean or repaired. Just a few highlights: There's no hot water in the bathroom on the top floor. There are also signs of mildew and mold in the showers. The shelves on the refrigerator door are all broken. Some of the cabinet doors in the kitchen are held on with duct tape. There's lots of glassware and flatware, and wonderful counter and cabinet space, but bring your own knives if you like to cook. The ones provided are nicked and chipped and don't cut through anything. There are greasy handprints all over the woodwork, which is worn and splintery throughout the house. The hardwood floors are all scratched and worn from years of overuse and lack of care. This house needs to be deep cleaned and have some serious upkeep done in order to live up to its potential. On the plus side, the Del Mar Vacations staff were responsive and helpful throughout the coordinating / checking in and out process.

Scenic Truro 2 minutes to the beach!

You guys were awesome and we loved this house. Recommend highly for a group who wants to spread out and who doesn't want getting to the beach being an exercise in familial patience. (it's right down the hill a 2 minute drive). Thanks Del Mar Vacations - Cape Cod!

Lovely vacation

The house is spacious and well stocked, and in a lovely setting. We had a lovely time there. It is fairly close to the beach. The only thing negative, was we went to use the grill for dinner and there was no propane and no spare. They responded and sent over propane tanks in a fairly reasonable time. We enjoyed being a guest at this rental.

Beautiful place: Outstanding Service (saved the day!)

Loved the place, twenty four hours in: the WIFI goes out (and my wife needs to do business). The Del Mar group spent hours on the phone with the cable company, then dropped off a hotspot: saved the day (and the rest of the trip!). A few days later the cable company got things back in order but, it did not matter: we already had internet. The rest of the story? This is a comfortable place where we caught up with friends and family. A quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach. PS - Our dog enjoyed the stay, too!

Had a great time at this property. The decks are awesome, gorgeous beach down the street. Plenty of rooms, beds and space to relax. Close to Ptown if you need some excitement. I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing get away.

Beautiful house close to beach

I rented this house with a group of friends for a beach week and had a wonderful stay. The beach was a short walk away and the house is a quick drive to Provincetown as well. The house was clean and has a connected kitchen and living room which is good for groups. Plenty of deck space and privacy from neighbors as well. Great stay!

The management of the property was very thorough and well-organized. We love to cook, and the kitchen was very well equipped. There are useful decks on all levels. We were a mixed group of grandmother, daughter and family, and a visiting friend, and there was comfortable room for everyone and enough space for privacy.
