Comience sus vacaciones en la isla en esta acogedora casa de Conch en la comunidad eléctrica de Bahama Village. Ingrese a la casa en su porche privado en el cómodo espacio de estar. Pasos por el pasillo encontrará su cocina totalmente equipada con gran iluminación natural y vegetación tropical más allá de la vista de la ventana. Arriba, se encuentra la suite principal con un espacio de oficina contiguo que conduce al balcón de arriba con asientos con vista al pintoresco vecindario. Hay una casa de campo junto a la piscina que es ideal para la privacidad de las personas que viajan con otras parejas. Decorado con buen gusto, decoración náutica y equipado con muebles cómodos, esta casa te hace sentir como si estuvieras de vacaciones al pasar por la puerta principal.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful, light-filled home within walking distance of Old Town bars and restaurants. The separate cottage is ideal for guest privacy. Large master suite with a separate work or lounging area with a balcony overlooking the street below. Friendly neighbors. I hope to be back!

Property was clean and a nice size. The pool and guest house made the property very convenient for the family. Location was quiet and a quick walk to everything. Jorge the property manager was very responsive and helpful.

Great KW house in great location!

Super cute house in a perfect location to walk to everything. Including the beach, restaurants and shops on Duval and the Hemingway house. Some maintenance issues with the house were promptly addressed by Brian the property manager who was responsive and communicative. Pool is a great asset and very private back yard. Neighbors can be noisy but respected requests to turn down music late at night. Would recommend for a larger family or multiple couples.

The upstairs bedroom is huge and could fit a blowup mattress or baby crib. Home is dog AND cat friendly which allowed us to bring our kitties for the month too. Property management was easy to work with And quick to respond to my questions.

Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our month in Key West- house is in Bahama village which although has some other houses around in disrepair- was a safe. Extremely friendly neighborhood, with a mix of locals , homeowners and renters. House is very nice , big master bedroom upstairs with an upstairs porch, washer /dryer, small ish living room augmented by outdoor pool seating. Sleeps 6 easily with 3 separate bathrooms- but communal space is tight for 6 with each eating area only having 4 seats. We still loved it, and the small but adequate pool, easy access to all. Would go back to this dog friendly Comfortable home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed in this home a few years earlier for just one month and fell in love with it. This year, I stayed for 2 months and 1 week. Such a pleasure being there. I spent a lot of time in the sitting area off of the bedroom, aka "my office", and had the most beautiful view of the lighthouse and neighborhood. The location was very convenient to the Duvall shops and restaurants, as well as to some of my favorite places on Petronia (Blue Heaven, Besame Mucho and Hemingway's home and Moondog just around the corner; and, of course, the lighthouse, butterfly museum and Banana Cafe) The saltwater pool was fabulous! Property management responded to my needs immediately.... Dan was very friendly and accommodating. Just a wonderful place to stay and relax in Key West!

Comfortable vacay home

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this home for the month of December. While the house needs some sprucing up, it was overall a comfortable stay. For some bizarre reason, there is no ESPN included in satellite package, so don’t come during football season. The pool stays nice and warm, despite only a couple of hours of direct sunlight per day. The pool house offers exceptional privacy. The home is walking distance to everything you might need, including groceries at the nearest Fausto’s. The house could use a Keurig machine, for us coffee drinkers.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was great. It is small, which I suppose is relative - we have a family of 7. It is clean and comfortable. The beds were nice. The pool house is super cute and comfortable. The pool is smallish size but perfect for a nice float - it is Key west after all, you cant expect an Olympic pool. The parking situation was great you can park along the fence on the side, and the spots in front are rarely taken and are free. It is convenient to get to most of the things you want to go to on the island, and easily walkable. Down side is the neighborhood is a B-. On occasion you may encounter a crackhead. Everyone nearby are really nice people but things in the area are probably the most run down in Key West. That being said, we didn't have any real issues nor did we feel unsafe. I wouldn't let any of that overshadow my interest, however. This is a great house in a wonderful spot, and the little back yard is like a private oasis. We loved it and would definitely rent again.

Neighborhood sanctuary

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Old Sapodilla House was our home away from home for the month of May. The back yard and pool were our favorite spots and where we spent most of our time. The heated pool got great sun during mid-day and shaded in the afternoon. We bought a few pool floats for our stay. The house itself was adequate - not fancy or “wow’ but nice enough. Kitchen had most of what we needed to cook simple meals. Knives were very dull and the coffee pot was ancient but they worked nonetheless. The living room wasn’t used very much nor was the small dining table. Since we had 6 adults, it didn’t work for group meals together. Beds are very soft which may be good for some but we are used to firm mattress at home. Dancing Finger Massage worked wonders for a very reasonable price. Location is great for walking to both the southern end of Duval street and the waterfront. Only a short walk to Blue Heaven, Sabagos and Firefly - all great eating spots. Be sure to call or go online for reservations. We always felt safe and the neighbors were friendly. Property managers were great although we didn’t need for much. If this is first trip to KW be sure to take the Conch Train Tour - excellent history and way to see a few attractions you’ll want to go visit. Hemingway House, Truman’s little White House and the Lighthouse Museum are all really short walks.

A Little Piece of Heaven in Key West

The location of this house is great, walking distance to Duval St., Fort Zachary Taylor, and a variety of resteraunts. The house is located next to a church, which means you hear their sermons on Saturday mornings and evenings, but it also means you have a lot of privacy as no one is living next door (on the other side of the house is an ally).The house itself has everything you need, including beach towels. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and the grill was great for cooking fresh fish! The neighbors were all friendly, and we were able to find off street parking without a problem, although I wouldn't recommend more than one car.The pool was a perfect size for us, and a great place to get some sun after a morning of sightseeing. I'm not sure if it's mentioned but there are four chairs at the pool for laying out poolside.The management company was right on top of it when we needed gas for the grill. The only odd thing was that we were asked if we were checking out in advance of our check out date, then asked if we were staying until check out time on the day we were leaving. I realize turning a property around in one day is difficult, but no way were we leaving that piece of heaven one day early!

Kim helped me book a pet-friendly house at the last minute and Brian, the property manager, went out of his way to assist us with everything we needed. Brian was truly exceptional & Truman and Company is lucky to have him. The property itself was fantastic- the location can not be beat & I loved Bahama Village. The neighbors are friendly and I felt as though I lived there after only a few days.We worked from home along with having my husband's sister stay with us. She stayed in the pool house & loved it. We could all be together but have privacy when needed. Our little dog is older & loved laying on the upper balcony "people watching."I highly recommend this property & Truman and Company.

Wonderful Month

We had an excellent month in Key West. This property was clean and well maintained. The pool was heated and cleaned/maintained weekly. The beds were comfortable and the washer and dryer were high quality. They had room for all of our belongings for the month especially in the kitchen. The etched glasses in the kitchen with the house name was a nice touch! The neighborhood could be kind of loud at 2am on certain days but not always. The neighborhood was in a great location for walking/biking to restaurants and Fort Zach beach. We would stay here again.

4 weeks in Key West

I’m thankful to have come across this rental. Had a couple simple issues, but property manager was very responsive and handled my issue quickly. Perfect location. Close to work, and the “action” (downtown Duval st.)

Unusual experience

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We travel to Key West a couple of times a year. Over the past several years we have used different rental properties for our stay. This experience started out being contacted only 6 days before arriving for vacation with a call from the rental company that our prepaid rental in Truman annex was booked in error by the company. They did not have any comparable options for us. As a result they offered us this property since it was the only option available on short notice. They did try to make it right by offering a good rate however we really had no choice but to accept the option. Overall property had Key West charm and a nice pool. We were disappointed in location and lack of parking. Also had the property owner just unlock the door and walk in one day. She claimed she didn’t realize the property had been rented! Very strange! We always enjoy our times in the Keys and love the laid back spirit. This time though was a little more challenging than it needed to be. We will be back to Ket West again soon but would not use this rental company again.

Amazing Home

We stayed 5 weeks in this beautiful home located just a few blocks off Duval in a quiet neighborhood. Stacy was our contact at the property management company and we could have not asked for a more responsive person, right from the beginning until the day we left. The home was perfect, with two bedrooms in the main house and one bedroom in the separated guest house. The home had very nice personal charming touches throughout. The kitchen was well set up with necessary cookware, etc.. The homes location, just 2 blocks off Duval was perfectly located so that everything was walkable. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quite home that is conveniently located to everything.
