The house was fantastic; very clean with all amenities! We loved the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and fireplace. It was great that the house was tucked away and secluded. Only down fall was the drive to Mammoth cave was 40 minutes and the neighborhood wasn't nice.

We totally enjoyed our three nights stay at this cabin. The interior is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you need. The large covered patio with the hot tub is great, private and peaceful. We had no desire to leave for meals as we enjoyed cooking on the grill and hot dogs and smores at the fire pit. Loved that we could bring our dog Annie. The host was most gracious. We look forward to a return visit!

Missy and Tyler were wonderful hosts!! They literally thought of everything so much so that we actually overpacked items like extra paper towels and garbage bags. So many times we have run out of these basic items, but not here!! They supplied everything and then some!!The cabin’s interior was perfect and so nicely decorated! It was so quiet and peaceful there! The hot tub was perfect as well and we went every evening in it to relax after going to Mammoth Caves! Thank you for a wonderful trip!!!

Absolutely perfect! Exceeded expectations completely. I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals and this one is my favorite. I celebrated my birthday with a girls trip and was so sad Mammoth Cave was closed due to government shutdown but that didn’t matter the house made up for it all. Host are extremely accommodating and had everything we needed and didn’t think of. I am already looking at dates to come back to this location.

The cabin was very clean and cozy! The beds were so comfortable, and the hot tub was very relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a meal, and the bathroom had a little area of personal hygiene items. I forgot my makeup remover and used the makeup remover toilettes. The washer and dryer got a lot of use. We were able to pack light and wash our clothes as needed. I also love being able to return home with a suitcase of clean clothes and no laundry. Our kids loved the bedrooms because they have tvs. They really loved the bunk beds. The outdoor area is nice and has lots of options from the hot tub, 2 porches, and a fire pit.

We are a husband and Wife duo who independently own and operate this property. Tyler is the business man, while I (Missy) run the hospitality side. Together we take pride in making sure that this home is not only up to standard, but that it has the extra little touches that make your stay a bit easier.

Tyler is a big bass fisherman, while I enjoy the serenity of the lake, so homes like this one are the perfect location for other families who are just like us.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I (Missy) grew up visiting Nolin Lake with my family. My Grandparents owned property just across the lake, and we spent most weekends in the summer in the water. Today my father owns that property, and it continues to be a place that I consider "home". When looking for properties we wanted to find something that was close to him, but also that would provide a nice place for people to stay who wanted to explore Mammoth Cave park as well.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Although we are not directly on the water; we are just 7 or so minutes away from Moutardier Boat ramp and Marina. They are the primary Marina at Nolin lake that offers Pontoon and Jet ski rentals. There is also a nice parklike area (with playground) near the boat ramp, where you can grill and have a day of swimming if you would like. Making this a super convenient location for those wanting to enjoy the water!
