The Last Best Loft is less than a mile from downtown Philipsburg, Montana, making it easy to enjoy all this charming mountain town has to offer. Stroll to unique restaurants, cozy coffee shops, boutique shopping, live music at The Springs or Winning Ridge Ale house, and craft beer at The Vault/Philipsburg Brewing Co. Treat yourself to sweets at The Sweet Palace, try local sapphire mining, explore fascinating museums, or catch a show at the historic Philipsburg Theatre.
The surrounding area is filled with outdoor adventure. Cast a line in Rock Creek for world-class fly fishing, ski or snowboard at Discovery Ski Area, enjoy downhill biking in summer, hike scenic Pintler trails, spend the day boating and relaxing at nearby Georgetown Lake, or plan your hunt during hunting season!

Guests have access to all areas of the property. Please be considerate of neighbors and be aware of wildlife when exploring the surrounding forests.

During your stay, the entire cabin is exclusively yours to enjoy, providing utmost privacy and relaxation. The cabin has a loft with a comfortable king size bed for the main sleeping area. Please note that it is not private and to access the loft you will need to climb a ladder. The loft sleeping space has low ceilings and you will not be able to stand once you are up in the loft. The sofa in the living room converts to a sofa bed and sleeps 1-2 children.

Your own vehicle is necessary for getting to the property and for exploring Philipsburg. There are no taxis or driving services available in the area. It is highly recommended that you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and snow tires or chains in the winter months, Montana weather is unpredictable and the roads can become icy or covered in snow. The road to the cabin is regularly plowed.

***Please note: To access the loft the use of a ladder is required. This may be difficult for persons with limited mobility.
The loft sleeping space has low ceilings and will require you to move around on your hands and knees.
The Last Best Loft does not have A/C, please consider this before booking a stay in the the summer months.
