Welcome to the Narrows House. This architect designed cottage and guest house are privately perched on over 2 acres of lush forest and is tucked aside the gorgeous Maine coastline. The Narrows House enjoys 200 feet of shore frontage on Southeast Harbor. The site offers stellar water amenities including a dock and float, access to a mooring as well as stairs down to a rugged, rocky beach area.
The Narrows main cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The cottage is a split layer design and enters into a light filled hallway with coat closet. If you step down you go into a dining area with seating and service for 6-8 guests. The space is open to the kitchen which makes entertaining or cooking easy to do while still being able to engage with guests or family. The kitchen is nicely equipped with a Viking range, lobster kettle, a ninja blender as well as ample cookware. The kitchen and dining area has sliding glass doors that go out to the deck system where you can bask in many opportunities for outdoor enjoyment. From drinking your morning tea or coffee or birdwatching over the cove to reading a nice book and enjoying your favorite afternoon beverage, you’ll be able to truly unwind in this treasured setting.
The main level of the Narrows House has the master bedroom as well as the full bathroom. The bedroom has a queen bed, multiple dressers , nightstands with lamps and a closet. The space has window treatments for privacy and to block out early morning light. The bathroom has a glass shower stall, a large vanity as well as washer and dryer.
The stairs up from the main floor go to a second bedroom with a full bed. This room has a balcony that looks out over Southeast Harbor and offers another opportunity for guests to bask in the glory and beauty of this oceanfront destination.
The guest house at the Narrows is spacious, with an open concept and soaring ceilings. The space has a comfortable living room with a couch and chair. The guest house has a kitchen area to prepare quick meals and a dining nook to enjoy them. There is a full bathroom on the ground floor with a tub and shower combo. Spiral stairs bring guests up to the sleeping loft where there is a comfortable lofted area with a full bed.
The Narrows has a great deck system with ample outdoor seating , a gas grill and a table for dining Al fresco. The home has wonderful water features including a dock and float, a mooring available for guests to use and stairs down to a rugged beach area.
The Narrows is a gorgeous offering for those that want a private vacation destination with all grand water access. Enjoy privacy and a wonderful, unique setting in this special Deer Isle home.

Departure Cleaning Fee - $300.00 + taxes
Damage Expense - $45 Fee, not a deposit
