Gorgeous, Modern, & Accessible Custom Home
Located less than 2 miles from Charlottesville`s Downtown Mall and nestled in the bend of the Rivanna River, this home`s location is unbeatable, providing easy access to all the cultural & culinary delights of the city and is just 15 min. to both UVA and Sentara Hospitals. Surrounded by greenery, this home fronts a quiet cul-de-sac of modern homes that have been thoughtfully integrated into the natural surroundings, and provides direct access to to Riverview Park, located adjacent to the house.
No expense was spared in the recent construction of this accessible downtown dream home! Built in classic modern style, this just-completed home has two bedrooms and features such as European Tilt and Turn Windows, a 3-stop elevator, a spacious garage with Tesla charger, an induction range, a two zone wine cooler, an oversized bathroom with a barrier free/roll-in shower plus a soaking tub. The expansive front porch deck offers privacy to enjoy coffee at sunrise and drinks at sunset.
The home is wheel-chair friendly and features an elevator for easy access for those with mobility issues. The main house is on the second story and features two bedrooms, a spacious full bathroom with soaking tub and tiled shower, and an open-layout area with a living room, dining room, and state-of-the-art kitchen. A large deck with seating area and dining table sits off the kitchen and provides a private entrance to the home.
The first floor contains the driveway, garage, elevator and stair access to the second floor, and the entrance to a studio apartment retained by the owners, Doug and Brigitte, who come occasionally to enjoy Charlottesville!
The third floor contains a half bathroom and rooftop deck.
Dogs under 25 lbs. welcome! No cats please.
You will have access to the entire home with the exception of the owner`s apartment accessed from the first floor.
I live close by and am happy to help with anything you might need, but am always very respectful of your privacy.
It is possible that Doug and Brigitte might be visiting at the same time you are, in which case if they see you they would love to know how you`re enjoying the home!
The owners come to Charlottesville every so often to visit and it is possible they might be there during part of your stay. If so, they may need to park in the driveway and access the garage briefly to charge up their electric car, and they reserve the right to utilize the rooftop deck as well.
The second floor home and deck is completely separate and secure from the other parts of the house. Please reach out of you have any questions!

Please note for reservations booked and paid for through VRBO, a $500 temporary hold will be placed on the credit card on file prior to checkout in place of a traditional security deposit.
This is not a charge—it is simply a temporary authorization. The hold will be automatically released within 4 days after your departure, provided no damages or issues are reported.
If anything is identified after your stay that may require using a portion of the hold, we will contact you directly before any charges are processed.
