The Bunker is one of a kind! Freshly renovated, genuinely unique and comfortable space with a cook's kitchen do dine-in if you'd like. Don't want to cook? You won't find a better location for dining out: TEN eateries within a city block including Doc Ponds, Skinny Pancake, The Bench, Woodland Bakery and more. Two bike shops and Stowe's higher end market, Commodities in that same distance. Across the street from an entrance to world-class mountain biking, Cady Hill. 13 minutes to the ski area.
The space
This 1150 sq ft space was designed to be lived in! The kitchen has generous counter space, quality appliances and cookware. Casper king mattress in the master bedroom. Washer / dryer and a high end shower to clean up after a day of play out in the year round natural playground outside the doors. Bathroom is a ‘split bathroom’ so shower and toilet are separated by a hallway to allow two people to use it at once. Quality TV set up, bluetooth speaker, a desk and fast wifi if you need to plug-in.

Having grown up in New England and with family in Vermont, Jayla and James travel back here every summer. They dreamed of having a place with tons of nature for their creature obsessed five year old son. The minute they saw The Ponderosa for sale they were drawn to it! It's now their New England get away for parts of summer, fall and a ski trip or two in the winter. When they're not enjoying it they're excited to share all it offers with other families looking for the same peaceful, relaxing, nature experience that they were, yet with all the comforts of home and hotel-like amenities.
