Welcome to The Sunflower Bungalow, your cozy and charming home base for exploring Lawrence! Perfectly designed for relaxation and convenience, our home is just a mile from KU's campus and the vibrant Massachusetts Street.
The Space
Settle in for a restful night's sleep in one of our three comfortable bedrooms. You'll find two rooms with plush queen beds and a third versatile room featuring a twin daybed with a pull-out trundle, perfect for flexible sleeping arrangements or a quiet reading nook.
The open-concept living and dining area is the perfect hub for your group to unwind. Relax on the sofa and watch a movie on the TV, or enjoy a meal together after a day of adventure. Central air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi are provided throughout the home for your comfort and convenience.
Your inner chef will love the fully stocked, modern kitchen. It has all the necessary cookware and appliances to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a full family dinner. Step outside to the spacious backyard, where you can enjoy the fresh air or gather around the fire pit for a memorable evening.

Hi! We are Aaron and Tammy, your hosts for the Sunflower Bungalow. We have lived in the area for over 25 years and enjoy being landlords, so moving into short-term rentals was the logical next step.

We love Lawrence and all of its charm. The house is located close to the University and Mass Street (Downtown). Lawrence is a great place for music, sports, food and all kinds of entertainment!

This house was built in 1936 and has been fully renovated within the last year. It has a large backyard and is in a quiet neighborhood just close enough to everything, but just far away enough for some privacy.
