Perfect Setting

We loved our stay as the house was perfect for our group. The setting was beautiful overlooking the bay and the neighborhood was quiet and lovely and the grounds were extremely well cared for. Our host was fabulous as she was very detailed with information about the house and was accommodating to our needs. We would definitely stay there again! Bravo!!

Wonderful Property and Owners

We stayed here for the week for our son’s commissioning from the Naval Academy. It was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown..excellent location across from Chesapeake.. quiet neighborhood for walking. House was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Kim was very accommodating and responded quickly with any questions we had. Loved the kitchen and porches. Can’t say enough good things! We would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Place for Plebe Parent Weekend!

We loved our time at the Bay Ridge Community! It was the perfect place for us to stay, and with all the attention for details there is no surprise that our host has only 5 star reviews! The house is so pretty and with many cozy and well decorated rooms, the beds are very comfortable, we all slept super well! The views are stunning, we loved to sit at the the garden table to enjoy meals and the view. There is plenty of beautiful areas to sit, chat and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. I just wished we had more days...The kitchen is very well equipped with everything and beyond to cook for a family. We appreciate our host leaving milk, coffee and water for us. The communication was very easy, she was very friendly and gave all instructions and many tips on things to do and places to eat or order food from. I now miss the morning walks with the bay views... and the kayaking. It was just perfect, close enough from the Naval Academy and Annapolis but at the same time far from the noise and the traffic. We spent very happy days with my son at this house and we hope to be back soon.

Fall Wedding in Annapolis

This home was a perfect place to stay as we prepared for and celebrated our son's wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. It is a beautiful home with amazing views of the Bay that provided a relaxing retreat. Wonderful kitchen, master bedroom, sunrooms, and yard. The owner was a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful in providing tips about her home and the Annapolis area that made our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Would love to stay here again sometime!!!

Plebe parent weekend

We stayed for plebe parents weekend with our family and grandparents and everyone, especially our plebe enjoyed the quiet and relaxing house. The home had lots of places for people to sit and visit and our son who was exhausted, had his choice of rooms where he could escape and sleep and/or finally look at his phone after 6 weeks. The kitchen is great for family dinners and we ordered pizza from Rocco’s which was very good. Lovely neighborhood to walk around and a nice change from the hectic downtown Annapolis scene.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to meet our new granddaughter !

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and well suited to spending a lazy week visiting with a new baby granddaughter and her parents and other grandparents who live nearby. The kitchen has everything anyone would need to cook meals at “home”, while there are also great take out places not too far away. The shed and patio outside are lovely particularly at night. The master bedroom porch was a great napping place for my husband. This home has been lovingly renovated and decorated. So many wonderful places in the house to sit and read a book, do a puzzle or watch tv. The owner messaged us periodically to make sure everything was going well. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous House in a Great Community

The house is Amazing! We loved our visit! Upon entering the home, I was surprised at how many comfortable sitting rooms there were: the large front sun room, the “real” living room, the casual TV room, then the patio and the “shed” and don’t forget coffee in the kitchen with nice views. I loved the sun room most, but the casual TV room is perfectly decorated, the living room couches are very comfortable, but if we sat in the shed, we are outside enjoying the beautiful day. In other words, the entire house was very comfortable and so thoughtfully decorated! The master bedroom also offers great views of the water. The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies for us to show off Bay Ridge and entertain that favorite Aunt for one night. We loved walking in Bay Ridge and driving to Annapolis to visit the shops and restaurants. My siblings who rented in Annapolis had traffic and noise at night. Here we had only peace and quiet, a beautiful home and views. The house was just perfect! We loved our stay and really appreciated how thoughtful our host was (from coffee and milk ready to go upon arrival), to explaining the technology in advance, to being available to answer any questions.

Perfect Commissioning Week Home!

Perfect house, excellent location, great communication with home owner!! My family and I stayed here for 2021 Commissioning Week. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location. Commissioning Week 2019

I cannot have dreamed of a better home to host our family and friends. I thoroughly enjoyed cooking every meal in the beautiful well appointed kitchen while Alexa played our favorite music. We used the outdoor grill, the wolf double oven and 6 burner stovetop. The refrigerator was huge. Additionally, there were 2 large cooler drawers for beverages. The home has plenty of beautiful dishes, silverware, wine glasses and decorative platters. We ate most meals outside at the beautiful teak table for 8. Some relatives ate in but still had all the windows to enjoy the gardens. Roses were in full bloom. My mornings began with a 2.5 run or walk around the lovely neighborhood along the water. Then I would enjoy coffee in peace off my master bedroom with water views. Sunrise and sunset were both enjoyed there too. The showers were awesome and I loved the cast iron claw foot tub after kayaking. The bed linens, pillows and mattresses were excellent. This host has provided everything that we could need to be comfortable. She was kind and professional every step of the way. This home was a splurge for us but worth every penny.

Beautiful Well Maintained Home

Our family rented the home for the Air Force/Navy football game weekend and was thoroughly impressed with the house. It was well maintained, large, and in a beautiful neighborhood. The best part was waking up in the morning and taking a stroll along the bay. I highly recommend the property. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect for our commissioning week

From the moment we arrived at 4 Sands Anenue for Commissioning week, we started feeling like we were actually on vacation. All the stress of preparations melted away. The very first evening when our soon to be commissioned son and I sat out on the patio enjoying a quiet moment while the light faded over the water, he said, Mom I can't imagine a better place to celebrate this week. The home is so lovely and the Bay Ridge community is idealic. The property has been meticulously updated inside and out. The furnishings are beautiful and the decor is fun and artistic. The spaces offer flexibility for entertaining and sleeping. The master suite is large with a separate sitting area, ensuite bath with tub and shower. French doors from this space open to a second level screened porch with beautiful sweeping views of the water. It's an inviting place for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. It's truly a sanctuary. Another large bedroom w ensuite complete the upper level. A first floor bedroom with easy access to a full bath provided the perfect accommodations for my elderly father. There is also a den on the first level w a sleeper sofa that offers additional guest space or a quiet reading area. The eat in kitchen with large island is gourmet appointed. We had such a great time making family meals that we ended up never going out to eat. For our catered "after" party, the kitchen was separate enough for food set up and prep that it was out of the fray of the entertaining spaces. The living room, dining room and sun room all open to each other and best of all, flow right outside to a garden style area that is perfect for dining al fresco and yard games. The Bay Ridge Community is the perfect location for peaceful walks or bike rides. A little beach area is very close by and the owners provided kayaks and beach chairs for our use. Bay Ridge is still just a 10 minute drive to the historic district and the Yard. Our son was really happy we chose a more relaxing location from DTA. Our family had the most wonderful stay at 4 Sands Avenue, it was truly magical for us and I highly recommend it. Sandy Fennell Commissioning Week 2017

Outstanding Comfort

We were so pleased with this lovely rental in Bayridge! The home was extremely clean, comfortable and afforded everyone lots of privacy and space. Our favorite gathering place was the charming sun-room and outdoor patio with bay view. The dream kitchen has everything you could ever desire and the bathrooms were so luxurious. USNA Commissioning Week 2016

This home provided a wonderful place for our family during the busy week of Commissioning Week. For us, the location of the home provided a respite from the chaos of downtown Annapolis and the size of the home allowed us to spread out more than most homes in the downtown area. Our Mid especially enjoyed the location away from the responsibilities on the Yard and did not mind the short commute to USNA for activities. The proximity of the Chesapeake Bay gave us peaceful views at all times of the day as well as a beautiful place to take walks as a family. The home itself was decorator furnished with quality furniture, linens, and kitchen items. The lawn out front of the home made a perfect place to entertain guests as the peonies and other flowers were in full bloom. Each bedroom having its own bath provided private areas for each family member. The pull out sofa in the den was a coveted sleeping area as it was as comfortable as a regular bed. The owner was gracious and easy to work with. Whether on vacation in Annapolis or visiting your Mid at USNA, this home provides comfort, beauty, and convenience.

Peaceful Retreat by the Chesapeake Bay

Our extended family rented this beautiful home in Bay Ridge for a few days while we attended a wedding. It was a perfect backdrop for the family event this June and truly made our experience top-notch. Our experience from start to finish with this homeowner was very easy. The home itself is gorgeous both upstairs and downstairs and the chef’s kitchen in particular is very well equipped. We spent most of our time either on the house’s indoor porch or the outdoor screened porch and just relaxed. The owners had bikes available to us to use and ride around this very scenic neighborhood along the Bay. Having the grill on the side of the house was useful as well! The owners had laid out all the home’s details for us in a binder which was very helpful. The management team was a delight to work with and responded to our questions very quickly. This was a perfect choice for our family stay. I’d highly recommend it.
