Este es uno verdaderamente adorable casa de huéspedes que no querrá perderse. Se trata de una cuadra de la playa impresionante. Perfectamente situado 1/2 de milla entre el famoso viento n Playa Mar y La Jolla Cove. Venga a aparcar el coche y no tener que volver a él! Convenientemente situado en el carril bici, ideal para paseos o hacer footing. Un corto 1/2 milla del pueblo para ir de compras, restaurantes, cafeterías y tiendas de abarrotes. La casa ha sido completamente remodelado, TV de pantalla plana en la sala de estar y dormitorio, una cama queen size Tempur-Pedic, pisos de madera de bambú en el espacio de la cocina y sala de estar, fuera puerta de la ducha se calienta a lavar en al volver de la playa, lavadora y secadora y entrada privada ... No se escatimaron gastos. Si quieres experimentar la Jolla este es el lugar para usted.

This is my 2nd time staying at John and Katie’s adorable cottage. The location is amazing just steps from the beach and the most beautiful sunsets. John greets you and is the most welcoming kind host. The neighborhood is quiet yet walkable to everything you need. And the cottage is adorable, comfortable with everything you need to make dinner and stay in, relax outside on the patio or go for a walk and enjoy everything La Jolla has to offer.

Lovely, snug bungalow just a short walk to a real gem of a sandy beach. (Amazing sunsets!) Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Well equipped and nicely decorated. I hope to stay here again!

Wonderful Getaway Retreat

Beautiful getaway in prime location!

We loved our stay in La Jolla! The guesthouse was clean, cool, and on a quiet street just a few houses down from the beach. Our only (very minor!) complaint was that the bedroom was sometimes bright in the morning since some of the windows/doors didn’t have blinds. However, we are early risers and were eager to get up and explore La Jolla anyways :) The house was equipped with everything you might need (beach chairs, beach towels, bottle openers, etc.!) John was an incredibly gracious host and was easy to communicate with. We will most certainly be back!

Lovely guesthouse in La Jolla

We loved the property and location in a very nice neighborhood, with easy access to the beaches and attractions in San Diego. Property was clean and nicely furnished and bed was comfortable. The only glitch we had was arranging the flow of water in the shower so water didn’t escape while showering. We never had a problem finding street parking at the property. Definitely would recommend!

Great stay in spite of being hospitalized for back issue. Property was great location and clean .Right size for 2. The owner John transported around to Dr appointments and to and from the hospital. Great Guy.Highly recommend this place.

Great location! Great value!

I’ve stayed in many short-term rentals, including two similarly-priced units in nearby Del Mar. This was the best of all and in far better condition than the previous Del Mar units. It is located in a beautiful, quiet residential area yet just one short block to the beach and two blocks from La Jolla Village. The furnishings are quality and comfortable. The hosts, who live next door, are very responsive and helpful. They added a small table for dining. (I guess other guests eat out for all their meals?)

Relaxing Beach Vacation

Location cannot be beat! Neighborhood is quiet. We visited several beaches in the area and the beach right next to our VBRO was our favorite. Parking is on the street but we never had trouble finding a spot. The house was clean and well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Johns guest house is perfect. It’s comfort, relaxing, quiet, close to the beautiful beach (just a few steps) in a beautiful walkable neighborhood where you can get everything you need for the day or week. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will be back John is the kindest host if you need anything he is available to help and has thought of every detail to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. If you have the opportunity to spend time at Johns guest house my advice is do it you won’t regret and I bet you will be planning another trip back it’s that wonderful

Would live here permanently if I were single!

Loved this property - one of my all time favorites. Very clean, cozy, really thoughtfully outfitted place . John is really nice and easy to communicate with. If I were single, I could see myself living in a place just like this!

Everything we were looking for

This is a lovely accommodation in a great location. It was so nice to have some living space to relax and enjoy. The photos are spot on. We walked to the beach (access is 1 block away), grocery store, and restaurants in La Jolla. John is a gracious and thoughtful host. We would definitely come back

Beautiful spot less than two blocks to the La Jolla Beach

This is a wonderful find! From the location, to the beautiful vaulted ceiling, to the well spaced kitchen, this lovely place has it all. Everything was clean, well, organized, secure, quiet, and just two blocks from the ocean. There were two large TVs that have Internet access so you can watch Netflix and Hulu as well as a great little secluded patio to eat your meals. While driving there is ideal and we rented a car, there’s a lot of walking opportunities, including the grocery store and many dining Places within less than a mile walk. On top of that, John lives on site and is extremely helpful and friendly and always willing to lend a hand if needed. 5 stars across the board. We will definitely be coming back!

Cozy and comfortable home

Had a super time at this cosy comfortable and quiet property. Location is great so close to the ocean and easy walking distance to pretty La Jolla. . The place itself is spotless and beautifully decorated with everything you need for a visit. John is a lovely host available to respond to questions but not at all intrusive. Hoping to stay again - highly recommended!

Great property!

This property was amazing. Beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you may need. Only 2 blocks from the beach and short walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed having coffee and cocktails on the front deck with the ocean view. John was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely return.
