Cute house, clean. Parking was a little difficult, as stated in the description. The front patio area is great, walking distance to the beach (5 mins), restaurants & bars was really nice! It was a little small for us, but super cute.

We had a few minor items that had to be fixed, bedroom ceiling fan and kitchen faucet but AAron had them fixed in less than 24 hours.

Great location and cute property

We had a weekend get away in San Diego. The location was great, in between the ocean and bay. the condo was a perfect size for a couple retreat. The only down side is parking was very limited. Mission Blvd is really close, but we had to park 5 blocks away.I will visit it again.

We had a fantastic stay. The property was clean and stocked with everything we needed. It's within walking distance to everything Mission and PB have to offer.

ADORABLE PLACE

Staying in Mission Beach is the best. You can walk to the bay, the beach and to shops & restaurants. This house was wonderful, clean, comfortable and so cute. I would stay there again.

Perfect Location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was absolutely perfect, with both the beach and the bay within a short walking distance. Same for restaurants and other things to do. We loved our little place although the online photos made it look roomier. But it was only the two of us here so that was fine. The outdoor patio was wonderful and I spent relaxing time out there getting some sun and reading. The inside was very clean, modern and comfortable. We had an issue with the heating unit the first night, but after that was resolved we had no other problems. The host was very responsive to us which was greatly appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend this to others.

When walking in the condo...the cleaner was leaving...talk about detail clean...amazing...that made us feel even more welcome...cozy home with an amazing well appointed kitchen...decor is chill and relaxing...bed was so comfy...patio and bbq outside allowed us to host a longtime friend...and the location...steps from the bay...a wonderful stay!

Great Stay

What a wonderful stay. The property manager was fantastic. Timely communication, and this may be the cleanest house we have stayed in. Such a short walk to the water. Fantastic restaurants nearby. If you appreciate chill and relaxed book here.

My go-to property in Mission Beach

I've stayed here before and I will stay here again. This gem is just as described. It is extremely clean, well maintained and very inviting. The bed and bedding are extremely comfortable. The air conditioning works well for the very rare occasion of a hot summer evening. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. The shared laundry room was clean and easy to use. Plenty of beach equipment to take out on the sand. This property is in a prime location in a quiet neighborhood just 50 steps to the bay and 200 steps to the beach. It's on the narrower part of the isthmus so you will find things to be much less crowded than near Belmont Park or Crystal Pier. No parking for this particular property but we were able to always find a spot, even in the middle of August, on Santa Clara Point just two tiny blocks to the north (I didn't count the steps to the parking lot). Shout out to our host, Vacation Rentals by Aaron, for thorough, thoughtful communication always at just the right time. We never needed to reach out for an issue of any kind but I knew, if needed, Aaron and the team would be right there for us. Bottom line: Book this place now, before I do. And you know I will!

Little Gem, 2nd Stay

This little gem doesn't disappoint! Second time we've stayed here and we love the location and property. Aaron and team are great and very responsive to any and all questions. So close to the beach and local life Definitely recommend this place, you won't be disappointed if you stay here!!

Perfect for our family of three

This little place was great for my husband daughter and I. Cute, clean and great location! There were plenty of towels and beach supplies for us to use. There isn't really any closet space so if your someone who needs to hang their clothes up, this might not work for you. After going back and forth with finding a parking space the first two days we ended up just leaving our car parked and walking along the beach for the rest of the trip. It was a very short 4min walk to the beach and if we wanted to go to belmont park it was only a 15 minute walk or pacific beach was only about 20 minutes away. There is so much to do in these beaches, we rarely found the need to go any further.

Worth the price

We enjoyed our stay and the location is great as our daughter lives just a few blocks away. The place was very clean and had just about everything you would need. The noise from upstairs is more than we were expecting, especially when they came crashing in at 4am talking very loudly then having some extended “intimate” fun which we could hear quite clear. A few things that would cause us to give a full 5 starts: darkening curtains or roller blinds in the bedroom. There was quite a bit of light coming through and we had to use a blanket over the blinds to block it out, there were only 2 skillets that were quite small and had to cook in stages, the shower door is missing a screw causing it to not operate smoothly, the bedroom chair in the corner was not attached to the base causing a safety issue, the coffee pot has no auto off and we mistakenly left it on all day, lastly some distilled water for the iron would be nice so all the minerals don’t end up on your clothes like they did with mine. Other than that we do recommend this place and would stay again!

Perfect location

We spent five nights at the condo. The proximity to Mission Beach is less than a block. It was lovely to spend time on the beach and walk the boardwalk. There is an amazing bakery close by- Olive’s- highly recommended the cinnamon buns. Aaron was easy to communicate with and did his best to accommodate us. The condo is clean and stocked with coffee, filters, sugar etc. Appliances are new and clean. There’s an outdoor shower to rinse the sand after a day at the beach. There is little space to unpack your suitcase as there are no dressers in the bedroom. There is a large closet, however. Perhaps some under the bed pull out storage containers would alleviate this issue. If you’re hesitating over booking this condo, don’t. It’s better than the photos and I could not have chosen a better location.

Anniversary Getaway

I stayed here with my husband while celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. It was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and in a great location. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and the beach gives an amazing view. We would stay again.

Stellar Location

Great location just steps from the bay and a very short walk to the beach. Lovely quiet outside patio space and well appointed kitchen. On site laundry was also a plus. Lots of amenities helped make the week relaxing.

Live like a Local

This apartment was renovated nicely, and once you figure out how to use the stuff, it was very comfortable (the A/c is also heat in the living room!). I enjoyed the location but if you have a car (and I did) it was sometimes a bit difficult to find parking; but if you are willing to walk a bit, not really an issue. The only issue I had was with the construction of the place, you hear every sound above you. Not to mention the planes. But I am a light sleeper and like to sleep until 8 am. The owner did make my life difficulty with lots of back and forth (no telephone conversations allowed) making things more difficult than they should have been. He did apologize and I believe he would be available if I had needed him. All in all, a nice place to stay where you can cook and not be at restaurants every night.

Lovely location…..

Lovely location nestled between the bay and ocean. Directions to the place were a little confusing to both myself and Uber driver but with the help of a kind woman in the rental office was able to find it right away. I was very sad all the outdoor cushions were not only rain soaked but filthy; pretty much the reason why I rented this unit was because of this potentially lovely outdoor space. I understand they’ve gotten a lot of rain but the sun was shining when I arrived and those cushions should have been brushed off and set to dry in the sun! The indoor space was great with a well stocked kitchen ( although ice in freezer was an old half used stale bag of ice I immediately threw out). I would also recommend better lighting; half the outdoor lights were burned out and minimal lighting inside with the exception of very bright overhead lighting ( can you spell mood spoiler) and the wall sockets were in hard to reach places as I wandered around wondering where to plug my things in. The hair dryer was filled with old hair and dirt rendering it useless and disgusting. First time I opened the closet door the entire door came off its tracking! I will close with saying the rental agency was very quick to respond to my calls; although most disappointed when they said there was nothing they could do about the wet/ filthy cushions outside. Believe a little more attention to cleanliness lighting ( including easier access to wall sockets) would help this rental imensely.
