The Space:

This single level home is located in a quiet area across the street from the Isle of Palms Recreation center where you and your family will enjoy the dog park, playground, tennis, basketball, and other amenities. The popular screened-in porch with a sectional sofa is a great place to lounge after a day at the beach. If preparing meals in the fully-equipped kitchen is simply not enough, give the gas grill a chance and grill out on your deck. This dog-friendly retreat offers guests direct beach access and a convenient outdoor shower so you can rinse off the sand before lounging in the living area.



What’s nearby:

The beach is approximately four blocks away from this home. Downtown Isle of Palms is just one and a half miles away. Here you’ll find shops, restaurants, the grocery store, and entertainment. The local marina, which features boat tours and water sport rentals is also just a mile away. Hop in the car and head over the connector to Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island and, Charleston where your vacationing opportunities are endless! All are reachable within 15-30 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay. The park across the street was great for our young kids. The county park with great beach access was only a short drive away.

Sweet Spot

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. We loved it again! It is a very easy walk to the beach. Right across the street from a dog park and the recreational park. My kids love to go over and play pickle ball and play basketball. Even though you can’t see the ocean, you can still hear it. It’s so soothing and relaxing on the front porch.

Just Right

This property was a perfect location. My kids loved being right next to the park. They were able to go over and play basketball and pickle ball. My dogs enjoyed being next to the dog park. It was a great neighborhood to walk around and easy access to the beach. Definitely will book this house again if it is available.

What a gem!

The house provided a very comfortable stay for us and was a convenient location to visit Patriot’s Point and Charleston. The house had everything we needed and was a short walk from the beach. And it’s dog friendly! The whole area is dog friendly. The big screened in porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family house!

This house was perfect for us for the weekend. 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog. We were all comfortable and had space to spread out. It's a great little beach house and if you have kids, RIGHT across from a super nice playground and field. We will definitely consider this again for a weekend away!

Perfect vacation home

The location 3 blocks from the beach was ideal, quiet but close to everything we needed. The dog park is right across the street and there are restaurants and groceries very close. The beach was really nice and we took our dog. Everyone was very dog friendly. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We’ll be back for sure!

Great place as always

I love staying here. The kids loved there being a playground across the street. The back deck is great and the opening back door glass door made it even better. My only wish is that ESPN was available as it is not with the current satellite package at this home.

Great beach getaway

Perfect lil house for a week at the beach. Love the big living room/dining room area and the bedrooms are all very comfortable and there’s plenty of porch/deck space. In a quiet neighborhood across from a rec center and only a short walk from the beach. There were a few small things that needed repair, like a screen and part of a porch railing, but none of that detracted from my experience.

The Perfect Beach House

I couldn't be happier with my stay. First of all, it was easy to book and check in/out. What I loved about it is that it is off the main street, which kept it in a very quiet area, but the walk to the beach was only a block away. I also loved that it was pretty close to the grocery store too. It is very clean, comfortable, and well styled. I hosted a relaxing girls weekend here and it was a perfect fit for everyone. We really enjoyed the front patio too, very comfortable. I have no complaints about this wonderful little vacation home. This will definitely be on my list of places to return to.

Property location excellent. One of the few properties on IOP that is not a mansion, so it’s nice for smaller groups. The property was ok. A dated house with updated appliances. AC went out one day and Vacassa was attentive and resolved issue inside 24hrs. Propane cylinders at the grill were empty…. Realized that on July 4th somewhat challenging to replace on the island that day

Great visit - only 2 blocks to beach!

We loved our trip! Having the park directly across the street was awesome for the kids. While we prepared meals, they could go play basketball or just play on the playground. We didn't bring pets, but there was also a dog park behind the playground. It was only a short drive to the grocery store and little shops. Beach was not overly crowded and the kids were able to rent surf boards and surf. Only having one shower wasn't really an issue. Screened porch was fantastic!

Weekend stay

The house was fine- bathrooms dated but beds comfortable and nicely appointed kitchen and comfortable furniture. Only one shower. Yard needed mowing! We were also disappointed to find no fenced in backyard after I called to ask and was told it was fenced.

Very nice property and location

We had two dogs so being across from a dog park was perfect. It was far enough away and blocked by trees to not even realize it was there. It is a quick 2 block walk to the beach. The property itself was great. No complaints. Huge bed in master bath. Two other bedrooms had two beds in each. Plus, the couch pulls out to a bed. Finally, we loved the screened front porch with ceiling fan. Keeps the mosquitos out plus there is always air flowing. Plenty of parking, too.

Perfect Location. Perfect Accommodation for our Large Family!

This is our second time renting this same location. We have a large family with 4 children under or at the age of 5. The recreation department located directly across the street, on a street that is very low in traffic volume, is perfect. Our kids love the playground. The size of the house is perfect for all of the kids to enjoy playing. The grill is a wonderful tool for cooking large dinners. The screened in porch on the front of the house is perfect for the adults to sit under the fan and out of the reach of any bugs. We look forward to renting this same location next year.

Nice older house but needs better upkeep

This is a comfortable older house but needs better maintenance. Overall it was clean but did have mold around bath tub tile. Things like broken storm door and missing drapes and other minor items need regular attention. The management company is very responsive.
