Make memories to last a lifetime at this coastal cute condo overlooking the ocean. Located at A Place At The Beach, this family-friendly getaway offers easy access to the beach, an outdoor pool with a waterslide, and an indoor pool! There are also on-site hot tubs, tennis and basketball courts, a nine-hole putt-putt golf course, and a grilling area. Enjoy a superb beachfront location less than a half-mile from Fort Macon State Park and approximately 8 miles from the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort.

Start vacation days with your morning beverage of choice on the furnished balcony overlooking the coastline. Sprinkled with beachy decor, the light and bright interior features a full kitchen and an open dining and living space. Kick back and watch TV shows after a fun day of adventure. Central air conditioning adds a layer of comfort during your stay.

This is a charming condo with a beautiful view of the ocean. Pool with slide is super fun. This is a very family friendly environment. We truly enjoyed our week at this condo.

Me Time

A Place at the Beach is in a great location with easy access to the beach. Its a short drive into Morehead City and Beaufort. The unit has a beautiful view of the ocean.

Great stay at the beach

Check in is a little complicated as I felt like I was on a scavenger hunt going place to place but the condo was very clean and accommodating. Our kids loved the pool and water slide (us adults as well)! We would stay here again.

perfect for a quick beach getaway

My sons (ages 10 and 7) and I enjoyed our stay. The easy access to the beach and the amenities made for great entertainment. The condo was clean, easy check in and check out.

A place at the beach lovely

I loved the ocean view from the balcony and the large pool with the waterside fantastic time... The dishwasher didn't work that well and the pillows for the beds were flat but other then that the place was great.. We all enjoyed ourselves and plan to return next year.. Work on the door codes our door wouldn't open then stayed unlocked the whole time...

The local staff will take care of replacing the pillows to ensure that guests are comfortable and the dishwasher is operable for a convenient way to clean during their stay. The smart lock has been evaluated and is currently operational. We enjoyed it!

Overall we had a great stay and liked the room. The futon/sofa is very uncomfortable for sitting, that was our biggest complaint. We had a few rainy days where we were inside trying to watch movies, and nobody wanted to sit on the futon. The kitchen is small/narrow but it's okay as long as you're not wanting to do a lot of cooking everyday. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with supplies. The beds were comfortable enough, it was clean and had lots of storage for us to unpack all the suitcases. We liked that we were close to the elevator, and enjoyed our view of the ocean from the balcony!

Okay for Price

Once we got the hang of things, it was an overall nice stay and good value. I felt that general information was lacking. We got in late and although I had had a conversation with Vacasa the day before about what to do, they didn't explain thoroughly - which I found out standing in front of the 2nd office at 10pm. They provided a map which was nice, but there's no signage or anything to help find your way in the dark when you've never been there. You get 2 check in packets but they contain minimal, unclear information. There are multiple lock boxes and keys and codes and they're not listed or labeled well. The other big issue was a blaring screech like an alarm through the bathroom fan. It would happen anytime between 6am-12am, was loud enough to wake me up, and really bothered my teenage son with sensory issues. For other families with sensory issues, they do ask that you wear wristbands while you're there. They're easy to take off and put on if you can remember, but he really hated them. I had to agree to Spectrum's terms and conditions every time I used the WiFi multiple times a day, not a big deal for me but we couldn't get the T&C page to pop up again on my son's phone so he couldn't use the WiFi after the first day. There was also a constant dripping noise coming from the toilet but nothing was dripping, just annoying. One of my pillows was dirty. The lid on the garbage wouldn't close. But, it was very cute, well equipped and pretty comfy. We loved the pool and balcony!

Probably will not stay again

1) check in/keys-I called prior to checking in and was told that the keys would be left at the office and when we got there, there was an empty envelope that required me calling back multiple times to find out how to get into the property, There were no directions on where the place was on the property so my husband had to walk around to find it. 2-we were told that the parking passes were left in the room, they were not so we never got parking passes. 3-Sliding glass door would not lock - MAJOR safety issue with a 2 year old. We were VERY uncomfortable that at night we locked our 2 year old in the bedroom with my husband that way if he did get up during the night there wouldn’t be an accident of him getting out the sliding glass door and climbing on the chairs and falling off the balcony. I slept in the bunk bed with our infant because our 2 year old had to be in the bedroom (plan was for him to be by the bunk beds). 4-floors were very dirty. They “looked” clean but the blackness of my feet and my 2 year old feet after about an hour showed different. 5-Top outlet behind the bunk beds is missing and about shocked me when I Tried to plug in my phone charger. 6-the cleaning people had there stuff right in the walkway as we were trying to pack and load up. My husband had to move their stuff just so he could get through. Very inconsiderate. 7-we were planning on leaving less than an hour of getting there because of the sliding glass door which shows a lot. 8-great location with a great view 9-perfect amount of space for us 10-could use better pillows
