On the ocean side of the quiet village of Frisco, Deja Blue sits only a few minutes' walk from the ocean, facing the sound for spectacular sunset vistas. At night, admire an unobstructed view of the stars from the top-floor deck as you listen to the ocean waves crashing nearby.

Your visit begins on the top floor, where a grand living room awaits with two massive recliners and an additional leg rest. The main dining room and kitchen offer stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, plenty of seating, a breakfast bar, a center island for meal prep, and a Keurig for an easy cup of coffee in the morning.

The middle level has three bedrooms. Directly outside is a deck with a hot tub to relax you after a sunny day spent on the beach. The lower floor brings out the spirit of competition in the family game room, which features a large pool table, side seating, a TV, and a retro-themed minibar.

You'll enjoy every moment when you're having Deja Blue.

Deja Blue was GREAT!

Perfect house for our beach trip! The house was clean and had all the kitchen items needed for the meals we cooked at “home.” Great location with sound and ocean views. The pool is small, but perfectly sized for a quick evening dip followed by a soak in the hot tub!

Great house in great location

The location, the house, the communication from the owner and rental service - everything was wonderful! We were there for a scuba diving trip that sadly got cancelled but luckily we had a fabulous house to hang out in! Lived the hot tub and game room and DVD selections! Looking forward to visiting again.

Felt like home, we had everything we needed plus some! Excellent location close to the sound and ocean and only a few minutes down to hatteras shops and ferry. We had an awesome stay with great communication from Vacasa whenever we needed something. Maintenance came quickly when requested.

Off-season quiet family time

We stayed with the kids and family. The property was very clean and located minutes from Frisco Beach. It was off season so not much going on but a good trip to get away from the everyday grind. Thanks for having us.

Great Location & Views

Deja Blue is a great house for families. It was a short half-week visit but the house had everything that we needed. Short walk to the beach. Great views of the Pamlico Sound across the street. Clean, comfortable hot tub. Provided linens and towels were convenient and the interaction with Vacass was great!

The place was quiet, had great amenities, excellent access to the beach, a relaxing hot tub and a very small but equally nice pool with a great deck. We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. We really couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!!

The house was wonderful, so close to the beach the family loved it!!!!! Also plenty of parking and the hot tub came in handy after a long day at the beach. The kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan or dish you could need. And the AC was great, as an hvac tech who ever takes care of the maintenance is top notch!!!!!! The small pool was great as well. Very well maintained home I would recommend to anyone I know to stay there.

Everything we hoped for

We really enjoyed our time staying here. There were a total of 8 of us that stayed, but we never felt crowded. The location of the house was great, we could either take a short walk to access the beach or drive 1/2 mile to an access point with showers, restrooms, handicap access and a lifeguard. The property is located away from the major population areas, so the beaches were not crowded at all. Hopefully we get a chance to come back and make more memories at this great place.

Fantastic Stay!

We had an excellent stay at Deja Blue! Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and super kid friendly! The hot tub is convenient and so nice for watching stunning sunsets over the sound. Loved waking up to sunrise ocean views from the top floor windows too! The game room was a big hit with everyone and although the pool was small it was warmer than most places we’ve stayed so our kids couldn’t get enough. Great selection of games/books/DVDS for the rainy/windy days and super short walk to the beach. Can’t wait to return!

Comfortable and close to the beach

We came to relax and be near the water. We were not disappointed! The sound views and ocean air are calming. This home has all you need to just chill and let the stress melt away. The beach access is just around the block. Food and shopping are a short drive in either direction. The kitchen is well stocked with basic necessities and tools to make meals, coffee and even chocolate chip cookies!

Beautiful house with unwanted guests (mice)

This house was beautiful and had everything we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable, the game room was great, the pool and hot tub were perfect after a day at the beach. My only complaint is the mouse infestation which greatly impacted our stay. I was constantly cleaning up after them as they left droppings throughout the day and night and ate through multiple bags of food. No matter where the food was stored, they were able to get to it (besides the microwave and our car). Nobody wants to spend their vacation cleaning up after rodents and hiding away all of their snacks/food. Had I known about the mice before our trip, I would have brought along a plastic tote to keep my food safe at a minimum.

Beautiful home, sunset view was incredible, great location

Everything was great, the only issues seem to stem from Vacasa. Considering a large portion of the cost for the rental was a “cleaning fee”, I’d expect to be impressed.. also guests are always expected to do specific cleaning tasks which we do not mind, just seems a bit confusing considering the price breakdowns. The house is perfect for a family! Our family has been staying in Frisco for 20+ years using Hatteras Realty, we love Frisco & can't wait to come back!

Great cottage but that location

The cottage is great, updated, clean no issues with that. But its location right on highway 12 is just too close to traffic noise. It a constant issue especially if you sit on the decks which overlook the road. If you love pools, this one is really small, more like a double hot tub size. Really better for just little children.

Easy, comfortable stay

The property was just as described. The kids enjoyed the wading pool, and the outdoor furniture on the top deck made for nice mornings and evenings. The furniture was comfortable (minus a few detached dining chair pads), and the open floor plan was great for bringing the kids along. Note: The lift is for owner use only - so if you catch that mentioned in other reviews, don’t get excited to use it like we did 😂.

The house was very clean and the location was perfect for our small family. We like the Hatteras area - less crowded than our usual trips to the Nags Head beaches. A plus was having a pool (very small - but okay), pool table, hot tub and video game console for the gamers! The house is loaded with baby gear which we did not expect but appreciated, toys included. A short walk to the beach was perfect! Highly recommend this house for a smaller group!
