Ocean-view home with pool, private hot tub, W/D - near the beach

New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Choose a No Shoes vacation for the ultimate beach relaxation experience. Located only one back from the ocean lot in mid-Avon, No Shoes has good parking, a carport, under-house entry, fish table, shower, and close easy access to an ocean boardwalk. The upstairs great room has comfortable resort furnishings and an entertainment center. The large, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and nearby dining is a joy at mealtime. Clever usage of the covered porch has created a very cool and open hot tub room. Bring plenty of sunscreen because it's No Shoes and no shirts required on the third-story observation deck.

The main floor's bedroom is an ocean-side suite with deck access and a jetted tub. One guest bedroom has deck access, and another has a semi-private bath with hall access and a slider door to the sundeck.

Things to Know
The wood-burning fireplace is not operational.
Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details about this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open from mid-May to mid-October, depending on the weather.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon booking, which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Great vacation rental

My family enjoyed staying in this vacation rental. Beach access directly across the street. The Avon pier is a short walk. The house was very nice with plenty of space. The house is in a great location that is close to all the local shopping. We look forward to booking this home again.

Perfect for our family vacation

This worked perfect for our family beach trip. It was close to the beach, had great views and plenty of room. Some rooms needed a little bit of tlc but who’s home doesn’t need that! Will definitely go back!!!

Great location in Avon

The description should state how close you are to the walkway to the beach! You can be there in 2 minutes! The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac with a great crow's nest deck with a view of the water and Avon pier. What a great place to enjoy the July 4th fireworks!

Family Vacation 2022

The house is in a great location. Close to beach. There are a lot of steps to climb to the beach so if that is hard for someone physically you may not want this location otherwise perfect for our family. The pier is close & so cute. The hot tub & roof top deck is a great bonus. We had a great vacation!

We loved the location of No Shoes. It is within a short few minutes from the home to the ocean. There are good views of the ocean from inside and outside the home. It is also within minutes to Food Lion to pick up anything needed.

Great stay!

This location was great! The downstairs was very quiet while others were upstairs which is amazing for a vacation home. There were some cosmetic issues like deck lights not working and the outside shower did not work. If I had a suggestion it would be to have one protocol for leaving as there were different instructions emailed/posted at the property. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.

PERFECT Location!

The house had beautiful views of the ocean! The walk to the ocean was very manageable! The proximity to the pier was perfect for the fourth of July fireworks! Avon puts on an AMAZING show! The beds were all really comfortable! I slept more soundly than I have in ages! The kitchen was full of all sorts of dishes and utensils and we were able to prepare many meals, although a few more pots and pans would have been helpful. Overall, our stay was delightful!

Lot’s of potential

By far, the biggest positive of this house is its location - extremely close to the beach and pier. However, this house is in serious need for an update. Nails popping out of drywall, storm door that didn’t work properly, unclean outdoor shower area, carpet coming up, etc. Lots of potential with this house and hopefully updates/repairs are done soon.

Only a few small issues that shouldn’t be a factor when prices are this high. Bathroom vent not sealed to the ceiling. Carpet tacks sticking up. Otherwise, a great location and comfortable vacation home.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans cette maison. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. La maison est vraiment près de la plage. Moins de deux minutes de marche. C’était parfait avec nos jeunes enfants. La maison n’est pas en première rangée face à la mer, mais il y a quand même une très belle vue. On voit la mer de la maison. Très plaisant de regarder l’océan en prenant son petit déjeuner à la salle à manger. Il y a une vue incroyable sur le balcon du toit !!!À notre arrivée, la propreté était très bonne. Lits, serviettes SPA, tout était impeccable.Autres points positifs : les balcons sont tous refaits à neuf et plusieurs chaises extérieures sembles très récentes, la cuisine est bien équipée et l’air climatisé très performant. Il faisait plus de 30C et l’intérieur restait frais.Sans diminuer la qualité de notre séjour, voici quelques points légèrement négatifs ou améliorations possibles : La maison est relativement vieille. Le nettoyage hebdomadaire semble bien fait, mais un nettoyage en profondeur avec quelques retouches de peinture serait nécessaire.Comme il n’y a pas de hotte de cuisinière, il y a toujours une odeur de nourriture dans la maison. C’était le cas dès notre arrivé.Les drains des bains et douches devraient être nettoyés. Dès nos premières douches, l’eau monte rapidement. Peut-être que les précédents locataires y avaient mis trop de sable?En bref, nous recommandons cette maison.Merci pour tout.La famille Lessard
