Nestled on a peaceful, flat lot surrounded by rolling Kentucky hills, this fully remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bath getaway offers 2,100 sq ft of modern comfort and rustic charm. Every inch—from floors to furnishings—is fresh and thoughtfully designed for relaxation.

This home is the original homeplace of Shawnee Run. As an established residence, the home has public water -- no need for a cistern and running out of water is not a concern!

Step inside and unwind in the open living space, featuring cozy seating, an electric fireplace, a smart TV, and large windows framing hillside scenery. The fully stocked kitchen makes cooking easy (or makes a great sit-down spot for take-out). Whether it’s breakfast before a hike or a family dinner by the fire, this kitchen can handle it. A washer and dryer are located off the kitchen and are available for use.

Downstairs, the unfinished basement doubles as your private game zone—with air hockey, ping-pong, and cornhole, it’s perfect for friendly competitions on rainy days.

Outside, soak in the hot tub, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, or relax on the porch as the sun sets over the pines—a view you’ll want to savor every evening.

This little cabin is perfect! We had a girls getaway weekend and we absolutely LOVED it! It's close to attractions, restaurants and easy to find! Everything was thought of when it came to amenities. Super cozy and welcoming! The hot tub was a nice treat after a day of hiking. It's probably the best short term rental that I've ever stayed in! I definitely recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

Double Pine Cabin was the perfect getaway for our family of 3. I've never seen a VRBO property as clean as this one. The adorable family room with a super comfy couch and fireplace was the perfect place to read a book or watch a movie. The kitchen was a perfect spot to cook and still be involved with those in the family room area. The bedrooms were perfectly sized with a tv in each one. We loved sitting on the back patio or hanging out in the hot tub. It was a great place to unwind after a day of hiking. The basement was an added bonus if you wanted to play cornhole or air hockey. The hosts were incredibly responsive. There was a minor issue the first day and they took care of it immediately. We would highly recommend Double Pine Cabin and would stay again if we are in the area. It was an ideal few days away for spring break, but would be perfect for longer stays as well.

Great place for the weekend. Really enjoyed the games and Hot Tub. The only issue is the water pressure in the showers could be better. But still a very nice place.

Shawnee Run is easy to get to and close to everything! You are just minutes from The Gorge Underground, Cliffview ziplines, Natural Bridge, Red River Gorge, numerous trails, and all kinds of restaurants. It's the perfect location to get away from it all but also close enough to everything the Gorge has to offer. We also love the beautiful views in Shawnee Run and the open expanse of sky above our cabin on the ridge.
