We had a wonderful time here for my birthday! The hot tub wouldn’t warm up the first night and the host sent a technician immediately the next morning to fix it which we appreciated so much!! Definitely recommend this home and host!

Very nice house in a good location. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. Nice open kitchen with new appliances. The house and hot tub were clean. Plenty of bath towels and extra towels were provided for the hot tub. Fire pit was nice too. There was a step down from the front door into the house which may be difficult for elderly or disabled people with mobility issues. Owners were responsive and answered any questions I had right away. Very nice house and I would rent it again.

We loved our getaway weekend at this beautiful home. The home was clean and had everything one would need. The kitchen was beautiful and good size and was completely stocked. The home had nice views from inside the house and great views outside. It had a nice area for the fire pit and there was a hot tub right outside. We had a very nice relaxing trip at this home. We definitely will be back.

Awesome stay. Really enjoyed the veiw from the hot tub. This was a special treat after spending the day out jeeping. Good central location to enjoy the daniel boone backcountry byway and natural bridge. Outstanding communication from the owners. Responded within minutes. Very clean and had everything we needed. Nicely decorated with large open areas, lots of room Worked out perfect for us!!!

Peaceful, Remote and Convenient

This property fulfilled all our needs for space, dog accommodations, beautiful views and privacy and was also in a pretty convenient location. Drove 20-30 minutes for a beautiful hike and also 20-30 minutes the opposite direction to run into a decent size town for any of our shopping needs. For a first time to Kentucky, it was a great choice!

Very clean!

We chose the property because it looked clean in the pictures and has a hot tub -it was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub after hikes and a day of climbing. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable -my husband has back pain and kept saying he wished he could take it home with us. Overall, a great experience!

Perfect spot for rest and play

The house was perfect for rest, nice and quite. It was close enough for our adventures off roading and zip-lining. The hot tub was a great bonus.

great getaway with friends

This was a great place to stay for a quick girls' trip! The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful additions and with four of us there, the sectional was perfect to sit and chat. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having the Keurig there to make a quick cup of coffee. It was a great experience. Thanks so much!

Charmed in Clay City

Our family enjoyed this home so much and will be back again! The location was great—easily accessible close to town’s amenities but also very private location. We loved the beautiful views out the front window and kids plus adults all enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked and great games for kids’ entertainment. We also appreciated the surplus of towels and pillows! Very clean and well kept home. We will definitely be back!

Disconnect and enjoy!

Overall, the property was lovely. It was very clean and cozy. The hosts make sure all of the essentials there including several board games/cards to pass the time. It was rainy and chilly for our trip, so we enjoyed using the space to unwind in the hot tub and relax. The hosts were easy to communicate with and do a great job of making your stay the best as possible. We would stay here again and would love to come back in the summer time!

Beautiful home..awesome view! Took my wife home to visit with family over the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful time. Kitchen is nicely stocked with all cooking utensils. Owner was easily accessible and made our visit special. Will definitely return.

Digital detox getaway

Our family of six absolutely loved this place! We came to the area to explore the Red River Gorge and "detox" from our constant digital connection to phones, TV, and the internet. While the house was fully equipped with excellent internet access and several televisions, we chose not to use these amenities. This property was the perfect launchpad to reconnect as a family and ring in the new year.The setting was peaceful, loved the mountain view. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of bamboo landscaping at the front of the property, which obscured the road and emphasized the beautiful scenery. The house itself was very clean, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. A detailed "house manual" was provided, which we found very helpful. There were also plenty of games available to enjoy with our children.Toward the end of our visit, the property owners reached out to warn us of impending rough weather. They were incredibly gracious and accommodating, which added to our positive experience. We can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!
