This home was fantastic! The decor was beautifully updated and the entire property was clean; we felt right at home. The property manager, Becky, was very accommodating and helpful. We were traveling with an infant and Becky provided us with a pack and play, which she had onsite when we arrived. drove to the gondola each day, but there was a "free ride" bus stop within walking distance, we just chose not to use it. The property is within walking distance to the downtown shopping area as well as the Breckenridge Brewery. The home is equipped with ample dishes, pots/pans and linens. There were also sleds in the garage if you wanted to take your children sledding.
We certainly enjoyed our stay and would stay at this property again. The only downfalls to mention are below.
1. The wifi was not working. We contacted Becky and she offered to drop off some Starbucks gift cards so we could go there and use the wifi. It seemed that the wifi had never been used and was not completely set up.
2. The 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms were VERY cold at night. We had the heat set at 72 and in the morning the thermostat said 62. The next night we had the thermostat set as high as it would go and had the fireplace on all day which did warm up the house, but we did not want to leave the fireplace on at night. The house does have a space heater available in the 2nd floor bedroom. However, the outlets in that bedroom seem to be connected to the light switch so when you turn off the lights, the heater shuts off as well. I don't mind sleeping in a chilly house, but it was WAY too cold for our infant in the 3rd floor bedroom. We solved the problem by sleeping in the basement and having others in our party sleep on the 3rd floor. Again, I don't see this as much of an issue, but just wanted to mention it to others.
This place is really cozy and pristine; I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a house to rent in Breckenridge.
