Seaside Duck; Steps to beach, pool & town of Duck! Formally Ray of Sunshine.
You and your friends/family will be close to everything when you stay at centrally located Seaside Duck. Seaside Duck is an extra roomy second floor end unit in the Colony by the Sea Condominiums. Seaside Duck is an updated, freshly painted, large open concept corner unit. Seaside Duck has two bedrooms, hallway bunkbeds great for kids, a larger front entrance deck w/more outside living area, bedroom deck, and front oceanside decks are all part of what makes Seaside Duck so special. Walk only under a half a mile down the quiet road to the boardwalk in Duck! There you will be on the main road of Duck with dining, attractions and activities; this location in Duck is ideal.
The majority of the condos at Sea Colony are one bedrooms or a smaller two bedroom version. Seaside Duck is 1100 square feet that has more of a house feel than a condo being a corner unit with its open concept and roominess. It is two minute walk to the ocean, community pool, and beautiful grounds. There are tennis courts, a basketball court, and a playground also to enjoy. It now has new owners and was formally named Ray of Sunshine with all positive 5 star reviews. It is a two bedroom unit with two king size beds. It also has extra hall bunkbeds, great for kids. Towels and sheets are provided. Nothing like being close enough to the beach to set up your chair and then walk back to the unit to grab a bite to eat or get more supplies without dragging everything with you. There are two community gazebos and a restroom steps off the beach also. There are extra beach chairs, beach umbrella, assorted beach toys at the unit for guest use, please help yourself, then return them for the next guest to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped for your needs. There are board games, kid toys, books, and puzzles for you to use. Watching the ocean from the living room, dining area, or decks makes Seaside Duck special. Additionally, sit on the other two decks/balconies to watch the sunset or escape from the sun. Note: it is on the second floor and there is no elevator or lift. There is a shared coin operated laundry room at the bottom level of the condo.

*No grilling permitted on decks.
*Place trash/recycling in appropriate bins in parking lot. Bags of trash/recycling may not be placed outside front doors.
*Laundry facilities are located on ground level. (Use Building A or D off-season.)
*Pool hours are 10am to dusk. No.lifeguard on duty. Children must be supervised.
*Please follow Town of Duck beach rules when you are on the beach.
*Smoking is not permitted on the front or back decks, pool decks, or walkways. Check your rental agreement for indoor smoking policy. (No smoking permitted inside Seaside Duck)
* Renters may not bring pets; owner-only policy.
*Quiet hours 10pm-8am
*No loud music on decks.
*Keep noise level low when entering and leaving your unit.
*Parking available for owners and renters only; no public parking; violators will be towed.
*One reserved parking space (by unit number) for each unit. Additional owner/renter parking in unassigned spaces.
*Emergencies- call 911 for emergency calls your address is 117 Sea Colony Drive-Duck, NC Provide Unit Number.
*Fire alarms are located at the top of each set of stairs.
Overall, it is a family friendly beautiful spot to continue or begin new cherished memories of the OBX!

Duck is so special- best area of the OBX. Seaside Duck is off the busy main road. It is affordable to rent compared to a whole house. Plus, why rent a house that does not have quick access to the ocean or ocean views? Sea Side Duck is the best ocean vacation spot! One can walk or ride a bike to the town boardwalk, go out to eat, or enjoy water activities on the Currituck Sound.

Seaside Duck is one of the largest condos. It is a roomy corner unit. Check out prices of others in the complex- Sea Side is priced even lower than most- even one bedroom units. Seaside Duck is freshly painted with many updates. Come relax without the hassle of being far from the ocean or cleaning a large house!
