A peaceful retreat with views of Turnagain Arm, this amenity-rich house is nestled between Anchorage and Girdwood and offers a unique blend of wilderness and convenience. After a short 30-minute drive from the airport, guests can soak in the Alaskan quiet of Indian Valley, venture further inland into Chugach State Park, or proceed toward nearby Girdwood via 20-minute drive or peaceful walk/bike along the paved Bird to Gird Pathway.
This three-bedroom, two-level house faces Turnnagain Arm. The main level provides two bedrooms (one king, one queen), and one full bathroom with a bath. A sun-soaked full kitchen, dining area, and living room fill out the main level. Upstairs is another bedroom (king) with a walk-in closet and a dedicated work space. There is also a full bathroom and a multi-purpose space (kid playroom, overflow room with pack-n-play, bunk bed, and air mattress) on the upper level. A full deck with a view of Turnagain Arm sits over the backyard and is accessible from the kitchen/dining area.
The deck provides an outdoor propane heater, grill, and furniture. The guest sauna sits below the deck, and faces the backyard which also features a fire pit.
High-speed Starlink wireless internet is provided throughout the house. The large-screen TVs in the living room and upstairs bedroom connect to the in-house WiFi for streaming options.
The house has a newly finished basement which serves as the Accessory Dwelling Unit where the on-site manager lives. This ADU has its own entrance and does not share any spaces with the house. Wood-burning stove in living room is not available for guest use.
