Peaceful and cooler than home

This was the 3rd year we spent the month of August in the foothills off the smokies, outside Franklin. It was warm by their standards the first few day, but settled quickly down to just plain delightful. Since we are from southern FL, it was wonderful all the time. Sitting on the porch every afternoon is a joy, and with a pretty view. The house is as advertised and great, but the stairs are starting to slow this 80+ body a bit. We have rented it for 7 weeks next year!

Mountain House

Nice 2 BR, 4 1/2 BA - clean and well stocked home. Enjoyed our "mountain stay" even if the road was a little narrow up to the house. Don't know how safe it is to drive up at night or if it's foggy!

Best view out there!

We loved our time here. It was so relaxing. There was plenty of room to spread out. Our favorite part was mornings in the red recliners looking out the windows to the mountains. From the sun porch to the hot tub, everything was great. We will be staying here again if we ever make it back to Franklin!

Perfect vacation week!

Wonderful accommodations for three sisters, 2 daughters and a cousin. Lots of room with lovely outdoor seating and indoor seating for all. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and looki forward to staying here next year God willing. Also, the mountain scenery is breathtaking to us flat Ohio residents!

The perfect mountaintop getaway

My husband and I loved our stay at this property! Located just two miles from town but on top of a mountain with breathtaking views and a hot tub overlooking the mountains. It was so clean and just gorgeous I wish it was my own :) would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here and hope to return! Lynn communicated quickly and kindly! Thanks for a awesome stay in our hometown

Perfect place!

This house was perfect for a family with young adults. The game room was fantastic and the location couldn’t have been better, within walking distance of so much to do! Would def stay here again.

The Finest VRBO in The Blue Ridge & Makes You Want a Home There

We have stayed here 3 years in row for our family vacation, and have absolutely fell in love with Franklin. The home is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views of the surrounding ranges. Plenty of room for everyone to stay and have their own space. It's a very small drive to downtown franklin, and within short distance to other places in Franklin. We will definitely be coming back to stay again. We love Franklin so much, and because of this house, we are looking for property in Franklin :) Side note if you need auto repair while in town, don't hesitate to call Franklin Fleet & Auto. They took great care of us after our vehicle had issues on the drive down. Mason Mountain / Cowee Gift Shop is also the best place to go mine for rubies! Don't forget to stop into Ruby City to check out their amazing museum too!

Perfect Getaway

This is our second time here. Fabulous location. Close to Franklin, but tucked away on Mtn with great views. Spacious, clean, fully stocked kitchen and all the amenities.

Perfect

The house was better than advertised. It is truly a pleasure to be up and looking down on "smoky" mountain landscape. Temperatures in the 70's and low 80's in August is like heaven for those of us from southern Florida.

Mountain getaway

Weekend getaway

My husband and I spent a couple nights here in April. House was clean, bed was comfy, hot tub was wonderful. It was a cozy place not too far up into the mountains so we could get on our way each morning very easily. Would stay here again.

House was as described and the view is incredible. House was very cute and the sheets were soft. Everything we needed in the kitchen, even a cheese grader and blender.
