Welcome to On Meade Speakeasy, a refined and atmospheric guest suite that blends the intimate glamour of a vintage speakeasy with modern comfort and cinematic design. Situated in a highly convenient area with fast access to Denver, the Tennyson Street Arts District, and Olde Town Arvada this spacious 1,500 sq ft private lower-level suite offers a full apartment-style layout with its own separate entrance, including a living room, dining area, bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet.

Designed as a cozy speakeasy-style retreat, it’s ideal for relaxing and enjoying the ambiance. The space is part of a home but is generally very quiet and private. This space is best suited for guests looking to relax and enjoy the experience, rather than those planning to cook extensively or use the space as a full-time living environment.

Featuring a private entrance, an immersive theater lounge, sophisticated dining and game space, a stylish kitchenette, and access to a covered outdoor patio, the suite offers both comfort and character for guests seeking a boutique-style stay.

Moody lighting, emerald tones, vintage photography, velvet textures, and thoughtfully curated details create a warm and luxurious ambiance ideal for romantic getaways, relaxing weekends, creative escapes, or small-group stays.
The Theater Lounge

The centerpiece of the suite is the private cinema room, featuring an 80-inch projection screen, ceiling-mounted projector, plush sectional seating, and custom low lighting designed to create an authentic theater atmosphere. Classic photography and sophisticated décor complete the environment, offering an inviting place to unwind, watch films, or simply enjoy the ambiance.

Speakeasy Dining & Game Area

Adjacent to the theater lounge is a versatile speakeasy-inspired dining space. The table converts into a full poker table, providing an elegant setting for dinners, card games, or relaxed conversation. A bar-height counter and Nespresso and tea service add to the experience.

Kitchenette

The kitchenette is designed for convenience and elevated simplicity, ideal for breakfasts, charcuterie boards, and everyday cooking using the cooktop and multi-function oven. It is not designed for large or complex meal preparation. Its signature feature is the Our Place 6-in-1 countertop oven, a compact, multi-function appliance offering air frying, baking, reheating, toasting, and roasting.

Additional amenities include a mini-cooktop, microwave, mini-fridge, sink, glassware, barware, and essential tools for light meal preparation. The layout merges utility with aesthetic, complementing the suite’s refined speakeasy atmosphere.

Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 4)

The primary bedroom offers a plush king bed, premium linens, blackout curtains, and soft, layered lighting crafted for deep rest.

A second sleeping option is provided via a CordaRoy’s convertible lounger located in the theater lounge. This is the large brown lounger near the entertainment center. It opens into a queen-size mattress, and full bedding is stored in the bedroom closet. This offers a comfortable and flexible arrangement for additional guests.

This stay was so beautiful and aesthetic, they were quick to get back to me on some questions, loved the projector and bathrobes were so nice to use, 10/10 recommend, wish it has washer and dryer and microwave but we made sure it was still perfect

So this is not a entire house it’s like a bunker under there house. Rooms cold af and if u turn heat on and microwave the fuses pop. Have to go outside and flip the breaker a lot. You hear every foot step starting at 7 am until they go to sleep. U hear some kind of water coming down the wall every 10 min. Not enough hot water to take a full shower. Very clean but you have to park on the road I don’t feel is safe. Kitchen that’s a jk hot plate and micro I didn’t want to cook like that. Fridge not big enough for groceries.

To support comfort, we provide multiple heating options, including three space heaters, which are typically more than sufficient for the space. We also shared clear guidance prior to arrival regarding appliance usage to help everything run smoothly. Regarding the electrical concern, there was a single instance during the stay where a breaker tripped when multiple high-power devices were used at once. We responded promptly, resolved it, and it did not continue afterward. We did not receive any communication during the stay indicating the space was cold or that additional support was needed, and we’re always happy to assist in real time when guests reach out. The kitchenette is designed for convenience and everyday use and is best suited for light to moderate cooking rather than large-scale meal preparation. As with most lower-level spaces, there may occasionally be light, typical household or system sounds. Street parking is standard for the neighborhood and is widely used by both residents and guests without issue. Wishing you the best in your future travels.
