The Tidehaus at Duneside is a newly renovated oceanfront retreat on Kiawah’s quiet West Beach, designed for families and groups who want to stay together comfortably without sacrificing space, privacy, or quality. With soaring ceilings, ocean views, and a seamless indoor-outdoor layout, the home feels open, calm, and easy to settle into from the moment you arrive.

The main living level is built for gathering, with a bright open space, 20-foot ceilings, and direct access to an expansive oceanfront deck and screened porch. Built-in Sonos speakers and adjustable lighting let you set the mood throughout the day, whether you are starting slow in the morning or winding down in the evening.

The kitchen is fully equipped with premium appliances, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, and a complete coffee setup including Nespresso, French press, and drip options. It is designed to make meals at home simple and enjoyable.

Each of the four bedrooms includes its own en suite bathroom, giving everyone privacy and comfort. On the first level, three bedrooms provide easy access, including a king suite with a spa-style bath and two rooms that open directly to the private dune path leading to the beach. The bunk room offers a flexible space for kids.

The top level features a private primary suite with ocean views, a cozy reading nook, and a spa-like bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in shower. Select bathrooms include heated Toto toilets and high-end finishes that add an extra layer of comfort.

Outside, the private boardwalk takes you directly to the beach, making every part of your stay feel effortless. The community pool, Cougar Point Golf Course, Players’ Pub, and miles of bike paths are all nearby, with Freshfields Village just a short ride away. Charleston is about 40 minutes away if you want to explore beyond the island.

To help you enjoy your time on the beach, we provide beach towels and a cooler in the property. Beach chairs, sun shades, bikes, boogie boards, and baby equipment are also available to rent for an additional fee.
