Casa Paloma is our newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom casita located in serene Potrero. With access to the entire casita, enjoy a comfortable king-sized bed (with plenty of furniture and store to make yourself at home), lovely decor, plenty of closest and storage space, and A/C in the bedroom with ceiling fan in the living room. The kitchen, dining, and living areas offer ample counter space, fully equipped with everything you’d need to make a home cooked meal. The second closet is the laundry/storage area that houses the supplies for the home. The bathroom is decorated in fresh beach decor with a large mirror and has excellent illumination and a large, relaxing shower. The dining and living spaces are open with vaulted ceilings, perfect for relaxation after a fun day of adventuring outdoors. Please note this is a cozy unit, ideal for max of 3 guests.
Outside, enjoy the porch area, the perfect serene setting for your cup of morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. It’s the perfect setting for admiring nature, reading, enjoying outdoor meals together, and more.
The quiet, tranquil, and serene village of Playa Potrero is located along the northwest Pacific coast of Guanacaste, surrounded by rolling hills, tropical vegetation, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy the gorgeous turquoise waters that stretch over the white sand beaches of the bay area. This beach community is ideal for watching the sunset in all its glory! A charming community that is ideally situated for exploring some of Costa Rica`s most gorgeous beaches.
Potrero divides into two main areas. From the Flamingo area in the south, you`ll enter a neighborhood (small residential development) called Surfside. It runs from the beach just inland. Following your way, you`ll get to Potrero Bay. You can find many fabulous restaurants, stores, the Costa Rica Sailing Center, and even breweries. The new Marina in Flamingo is minutes away.
To the north, you will encounter Potrero`s local town, which is similar to all of Costa Rica`s traditional beach towns: a soccer field, school, church, smaller homes, sodas (local restaurants), and a few essential grocery stores (pulperías). The town is near beaches Playa Penca and Playa Prieta, and further north you will find the enchanting Las Catalinas Town, which has access to astonishing beaches like Playa Danta and Dantita.

** DETAILS TO NOTE **
- IMPORTANT: Parties and events are strictly prohibited.
- Your booking automatically includes a damage protection policy. Should any minor accidental damages occur during your stay, we will cover you up to $1000. We understand accidents happen, so we`ve got your back! However, if we determine damage was willful or negligent, we will charge an additional cost based on the damage itself.
- There is a bit of a walk from the parking area to the unit itself, please be aware if you are bringing a lot of luggage or have difficulty walking.
- We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $750.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved.
*Important* If you are a Costa Rica resident booking with a local credit card, you will get charged IVA from your bank automatically aside from the AirBNB tax and will need to handle this directly with your bank. This is a separate localized fee that is done automatically outside of AirBNB.
