Located high in the La Quinta Cove on a acre double corner lot you will enjoy
spectacular views of the Santa Rosa Mountains that were once only seen by movie stars that vacationed here. Now the Cove is home to artists, musicians, families and some tourists, with a genuine feeling of community but you can but you can still see the stars in the clear night air.

From the moment you walk through the front gate you instantly realize you have entered your own private retreat. The 400 perimeter wall affords complete privacy to enjoy the lush landscaping and the tranquility that our property offers green grass, fruit trees, hummingbirds and flowers. The walkway pavers lead you to the porticoed front entrance and to the large covered patio but the main focus is the 15 by 40 heated saltwater pool and spa ideal for doing laps or just for having fun in. You can enjoy the sound of the birds or the peaceful sound of water trickling from the raised spa since all the pool equipment is remote located. Grill your favorite meal on the commercial BBQ or just cozy up to the auto-lighting gas fire pit on a cool evening. You will find that most of your
meals can be eaten under the alumawood covered patio with comfortable furniture, cooling misters and oh, those amazing mountain views. The combination of the high cove location and the high wall means that the winds that the valley is known for are rarely a concern here. We have made the property very accessible with smooth pavers outside, 20 floor tiles inside and no steps anywhere to allow easy and secure walking.

Inside, the 1870 sq. ft. house has been designed as an open plan with a beautiful view of the pool. The colour scheme is tranquil, the large patios doors bring the outdoors inside. It is truly a house for entertaining with a large main patio off both the living room and master suite. We have decorated the house in a contemporary manner offering comfort for our guests. The living room features a leather couch and a large sofa, a stand up wet bar, wood burning fireplace and an internet enabled 55 flat screen TV. There are lots of board games to choose from in the coffee table and a vintage Nintendo Entertainment console for those that have the nostalgia of the arcade games. Of course, the house has super fast WiFi, but there are also three other internet connected TVs and a portable boom box.

For your cooking enjoyment, the kitchen is big and bright and airy and is well equipped with tools and appliances. Enjoy a snack at the counter bar, eat a meal in the beautifully bright eating nook as you contemplate the mountains through the large windows looking out on the main garden. For those must-do chores there is a commercial washer and dryer right beside the kitchen in the attached two car garage to keep it quiet and out of sight. For entertaining, the dining room is only a few steps off the kitchen, overlooking the living room and can seat 6 people.

The large master suite comes complete with kingsize bed, ensuite, walk-in closet, patio doors on to the patio and pool, fingertip pool/spa/fire pit controls, flat screen TV. Or enjoy the junior suite with queen size bed, ensuite and patio doors onto its own private patio and garden with fruit trees and still more mountain views. The third bedroom is ready with a queen size bed and flat screen TV. The fourth bedroom is ready with twin beds, flatscreen TV and its bathroom next door.

Come for the great location with privacy, security and perfect weather. Spend the days at a local event, golfing, shopping our just reading and tanning by the pool. Eat at great local restaurants, cook up a storm on the BBQ or visit with friends and family while cooking your favorite dinner meal. Sip a cook drink sitting in the shade and find faces in the Santa Rosa mountains. Relax, visit, rejuvenate, reunite, renew and most of all have fun. It is all here for you at Casa Carranza. Come and enjoy our home, we know you will want to return and make it your second home too.
