After years of exploring design-forward destinations and hosting guests in our homes, we created The Desert Standard with one intention: to offer a stay that feels calm, thoughtful, and genuinely elevated.
Scottsdale has long been one of our favorite places, with its warm desert light, walkable Old Town charm, incredible dining, and endless outdoor adventure. We wanted to craft a retreat that reflects all of that—a home that’s a little raw, a little refined, and effortlessly comfortable.
As hosts, we care deeply about the details: clean, modern spaces, natural textures, hotel-quality touches, and an atmosphere that helps guests feel immediately at ease. We’re here when you need us and hands-off when you don’t, always aiming to create a seamless and welcoming stay.
We also host a second property—The Jungle Lounge in Tulum—a tropical counterpart to the desert calm of Scottsdale. Both homes are designed with intention, and both invite you to slow down, breathe, and enjoy where you are.
