Pacífica Hudson Valley renovado casa y granero - pasos del río!

Siéntase como en casa en esta muy dulce y elegante casa de cristal y cedro con un granero en 5 acres de tierra privada. Tendrás acceso privado al río ubicado a pocos pasos de la casa. El río atrae a una maravillosa exhibición de flora y fauna en cualquier época del año.

Hay una chimenea en la sala de estar y un pozo de fuego frente al río para asar malvaviscos. Hay nuevos pisos de roble en toda la casa (¡recién renovados!). Acabamos de comprar todos los muebles nuevos, colchones (Casper y Tuft & Needle), sábanas, edredones, almohadas y muebles en mayo. Esta es una casa recientemente renovada y muy limpia.

Hay una vista del río y el bosque de casi todas las ventanas. Este es un hogar maravilloso para disfrutar de reuniones familiares, escapadas románticas o una reunión de amigos.

Puede cocinar sus propias comidas en la deslumbrante cocina gourmet o en la terraza con una parrilla gourmet, o haga que su cena sea ofrecida por uno de nuestros excelentes chefs privados o empresas de catering.

El vecindario está lleno de actividades de clase mundial. Se puede practicar senderismo, ciclismo, escalada y picnic en la hermosa cordillera Shawangunk en Mohonk Preserve y el parque Minniwaska. Los deportes de invierno incluyen el esquí de fondo y el trineo. Está a 50 minutos del esquí alpino y a 10 minutos de New Paltz y Gardiner, donde hay varios restaurantes, bares, bodegas, así como yoga, masajes y tiendas. Great location for bicyclists!

Wonderful home, well equipped for 12 bicycle friends to relax, cook and share time in the beautiful surroundings. Great kitchen, wonderful dining room with views of the river and the gorgeous fall foliage and a cozy living room.

Great place for a family reunion

This was a fantastic, quiet location to relax and have conversation. Margaret is very attentive to all of the details and is readily available to answer questions and provide recommendations.

Big space with great views!

The New Paltz House was great for our large group. The 6 bedrooms were comfortable (great sheets) and the deck, kitchen and great room gave everyone a place to come together.

Sublime gathering with extended family and friends

10 of us enjoyed R&R leading up to our son’s graduation from West Point. The home was ideal for a group our size. Spacious and intimate with all the comforts and amenities a traveling group would want, Yes—comfortable beds!!! We appreciated how attentive and responsive Margaret was toward us. Our highlights were enjoying fresh cooked /grilled meals together in the natural sky lit dining room and a visit by a neighboring deer.

Beautiful, spacious and clean!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our time in this home. Everyone was very comfortable, with ample provisions and space. The location was beautiful and in close proximity to some enjoyable sites. We hope to return in the future!

Beautiful house & location

The house was wonderful and has beautiful views of the river. A few more directions for the heating system would be nice, the main areas were a great temperature but the bedrooms were all very warm at night and no one in our group could figure out how to fix it. Otherwise a very lovely place to stay!

Oh, that view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our fall weekend here in the Hudson Valley! The house was very welcoming and comfortable with every detail attended to! Margaret was very accommodating to all of our requests and was always available when we had questions. The calming view of the Wallkill River was the backdrop of nearly every room in the house. We will definitely be reserving this home again!

Amazing!

My friends and I traveled here for a girls weekend away, and we had an amazing time! The house was even more amazing than the pictures suggest. It was extremely spacious, clean, and so relaxing. There was also so much to do on the property, and the house was great for having a retreat from it all while also being just a short drive to other fun things to do in the area. Margaret was a wonderful host! She was super clear about all the instructions that we needed for our stay, checked in with us to make sure we were all settled, and gave us great restaurant recommendations. I wish we could have stayed longer, and I highly recommend this rental to others traveling to the area!

Excellent!

We stayed here for a long weekend during the summer with friends—six couples and two kids. It was absolutely perfect, we'd definitely come back! The property is stunning—newly renovated and with lots of space inside the house, on the deck, and in the back yard. We had a great time hanging out in the common areas and cooking meals in the kitchen, which was stocked with everything we needed. We also took the kayaks out on the river, which the kids absolutely loved. The owners were super attentive and did everything they could to make our stay great! We hope to come back soon! Very clean, well appointed kitchen quiet surroundings with lots of wildlife.

Would definitely return, property very clean and modern. Kitchen has everything to prepare a gourmet meal. Would like to see instructions on getting cable tv to work and ac operation. Owner very responsive and helpful. I am curious why there aren’t any furnishings in the bedrooms

Beautiful property, amazing stay

There is so much to do at this house, we never left the whole weekend! The owner was very attentive, and left detailed instructions for everything which was very helpful. The house was very clean and slept 11 of us comfortably. We loved the yard by the river, which was perfect for yard games. The garage has ping pong, foosball and darts. So many fun activities! We hope to be back again soon.

Our stay was amazing and Margaret was incredible!

We had such a nice time at this wonderful home. The house was clean, well taken care of and in a great location. The deck was a great space to grill and relax, and the backyard is perfect for a nice fire or a kayak in the river! We didn’t swim in the river but we did take the kayaks out. Everything we could have needed was provided (sheets, blankets, towels, soaps, etc.). There were a lot of thoughtful touches which made our stay even better. Highly recommended if traveling to this area with a large group.

Hello!

My husband and I live in Manhattan, and we were getting tired of the urban life, so we decided to search for a part-time home with river or lake views and private access to the water that's less than a 1.5 hour drive from Manhattan. We visited over 40 or so houses, and this is the one we fell in love with (plus it's only a 1.5 hour drive from NYC and you can take a bus from Port Authority or a train from Grand Central). We hope you will love it too!

I work in tech, so generally very busy. In my free time, I love to do yoga, go on long walks, cook, and be in nature.

Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions! I'm always happy to help. I understand the value of selecting the most ideal vacation location for your friends, family, and colleagues.

This is home is a spacious, newly renovated, glass and cedar house that is over 3,500 square feet. It is right next to the river, so you will wake-up to waterfront and nature views. This is a peaceful and secluded location, since the property is on 5 acres of private land and has an award winning barn (formally used for horses). You will have all these 5 acres to yourself, and you can use the barn as your own private entertainment area.
