Overall a great experience! Loved the dock, beautiful view from there at sunset and we were able to fish and swim.. The walk up and down the stairs isn't for the faint of heart but well worth it once you get down there.

House was clean and organized. The game area was perfect for the kids. Only downfall was the photos were not up to date so it was a little misleading. The walk to the lake wasn’t for the weak but it sure was pretty when we finally made it down.

Quiet fall getaway

Quiet and Peaceful

Very nice place! It was so quiet and peaceful…it’s basically on a private road with almost no traffic. The house is as described, with several modern updates with guests in mind. Excellent communication with host. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The screened deck is awesome!

The stairs to the dock was an exercise

The house and surroundings were very nice. The only bad thing that I have to say about my stay was the hill and stairs to get down to the boat dock. Just say that you have to be in pretty good health to go up and down 'em

Nice lakeside property

We enjoyed our stay. The house is great. We enjoyed the arcade machine in the basement. The only downside is the back yard is extremely steep. The dock is nice once you get down there. Overall- great stay!

Short Getaway

The property was clean and comfortable as advertised. We especially enjoyed being able to bring the dogs. The gated deck made being outside with the dogs really easy. We enjoyed the fire pit, the kayaks and the kids loved swimming around the lily pad.

Weekend in Cadiz

The house was great , very comfortable . One disappointment was the kayaks were filled with spiders and spider webs , they would have been a huge nuisance to clean and there was nothing to clean them with , also another chair or two on the dock would be nice . Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay

Amazing Experience!!!

My son and I had an amazing time!! We loved the quick access to the lake. We walked down to the dock almost every day and fished. We even tied up his boat there!!

A New Year getaway

We didn't want the crazy Nashville new years party and club seen so we decided to rent a beautiful getaway lakehouse with some friends and family. It was the most amazing getaway this year. There home is beautiful and so inviting. The lakehouse was just what we needed..

Perfect getaway

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed this home and location! The home felt so cozy, well cleaned with comfortable beds and furniture. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Our kids loved the downstairs area and we all really enjoyed the kayaks and dock. Quiet spot on the end of a road with short driving distance to Lake Barkley Marina where we rented a boat. We would definitely recommend this home!

Rested and relaxed

This lake home is awesome. Spacious well-decorated and comfortable. The owner was responsive and a big help to us. Beds we're comfortable. Kitchen had everything we hoped for and more. A huge plus was we were able to bring our dog❤️. Highly recommend

The location and livable space in the house is nice. Adequate linens as well. The kitchen was nice, except for the dirty pans and dishes, mentioned below.On the downside, the house was not clean and the outside was unkempt. Layer of dust on everything inside and cobwebs on fans and wall decor. Dirty pans and dishes in the cabinets. Filthy A/C filter on the return. Looked as if there had been little or no cleaning prep before our arrival. Outside landscape overgrown, yard not mowed. Master bathroom wall had dark splatter in one spot. Bugs and dirt in all window sills and sliding door tracks. Just widespread neglect.Also linens in the dryer when we arrived. We had a nice time, we just had to spend some time cleaning at times before we could enjoy the stay. Hopefully, these issues will be addressed with the housecleaning service.

Get Away

The property was beautiful and the home warm and comfortable. We used the fire pit a few nights and watched the sun set over the lake. It was a bit of a trek to the dock but so worth it. I would love to come back in the warmer months and utilize the outdoor area more. Clean and loads of space. Property manager was friendly and assisted with any needs we had promptly. Highly recommend this for a relaxing getaway or for fishing trip.

Lovely home!

The house was very clean and functional. The furniture could use some updating as the couch and chair were not very comfortable. The fire pit was awesome and the lake view is nice. It’s very quiet and peaceful there. Walking to the lake is a challenge if you have mobility issues. The owner was very accurate with a slight tv issue!!! The beds were comfortable and parking was great!

The fruit flies were pretty bad.

We had a great stay! Our grown children, their spouses and our grandkids stayed with us. We had plenty of room for the 10 of us. The place was clean, but the kitchen had fruit flies terribly. They got in a lot of our food packages and in the refrigerator. Other than that, we loved the place. The kids really enjoyed the games down stairs. We liked being on the lake but it is quite a walk down to the boat dock. We would stay again.

November Lake Weekend

The house was very nice and comfortable for our party of 6 adults. The spaces were open and practical, and the kitchen was large, pretty and well-equipped with a lot of necessities. The decor and furnishings were thoughtful and fun, and you could tell there was thought into making it comfortable. The screened porch and deck and outdoor fire pit added to the living spaces and were all very nice. We were disappointed that the TV in the master bedroom does not work, nor does the fireplace, and the foosball table did not have any balls to play. The home and the view are very nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spring break trip

We enjoyed the early spring weather and quiet trails of Land Between the Lakes. The home was a perfect location to LBL and also an oasis in itself, sitting right on Lake Barkley. We were able to enjoy fishing most days from the dock. The description of the steps going down to the dock is accurate, but we are agile and mobile, so it was fine. The inside of the home exceeded our expectations, clean and comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and even shampoos and soaps included. We cooked and grilled almost every night, and enjoyed the fire pit. Our kids enjoyed the arcade games and basement area. There was plenty of room for all of us. And the bonus was that we were able to bring our dog. If we come back, we’d definitely rent again, maybe in the summer months so we can enjoy swimming and boating.

Location was spectacular. Home was extremely clean. You do need to walk down a number of stairs and property to get to the dock but that is well represented in the listing. Home does need some minor fixes (screen door, shower door in master). Only item is it mentions a dock and shows image of a lift but the dock has shifted to the lift does not drop into the water so that area is not usable as a lift. Can still tie up to the side of the dock

Relaxing Spring Break

We had a wonderful time. We came for the last few days of my kids spring break. We have 2 kids and they each brought a friend and there was plenty of room for everybody. I know there are pictures and a warning about the trek to the dock but I wasn't quite prepared for how steep it was. There were lots of things the owners took care of that other places don't which was really nice. They had coffee pods, lots of dishwasher pods, gas for the grill and wood to burn. These were very nice extras. The property was really clean, however there was some detail items that could use a good scrub down. I would have appreciated if there had been an all purpose cleaner under the sink. I like to wipe things down as we go and as we are leaving, like tables and counters, etc but there was nothing there for me to do that with. I guess I could have brought my own but that wasn't something I thought about until I realized there wasn't any. My family caugjt fish off the dock and even got a little swimming in. We would definitely return.
