Primer lugar frente al mar en el lago Moosehead

Nuestro lugar está en la orilla del lago Moosehead a través del monte Feom. Kineo Te encantará este lugar por la comodidad y la sensación rústica. Este campamento es bueno para parejas, aventureros en solitario y familias (con niños). Los huéspedes pueden usar la parrilla, disfrutar de una chimenea al aire libre y amarrar un bote en el muelle.

Estamos tan emocionados de que haya elegido relajarse en un lugar que creemos que es el paraíso en la tierra. Alguna información básica de la casa:

La estufa de leña es para un ambiente visual. Actualmente no es funcional, así que no intente usarlo.

Recomendamos usar agua embotellada para beber y cocinar. Es seguro para cepillarse los dientes y lavar los platos.

Hay un extintor de incendios colgado en la pared junto al porche trasero. Hay un botiquín de primeros auxilios debajo del lavabo en el baño, junto con Benadryl y acetaminofén. Hay tres alarmas de humo en la casa (una es un detector de monóxido de carbono). Funcionan con pilas y NUNCA deben manipularse.

Canoas / Kayaks: hay dos canoas y dos kayaks para su uso, ubicados en el campamento de al lado (kayaks por el campamento, canoas por el punto). Los chalecos salvavidas y remos se ubicarán en el porche de al lado. Es imperativo que use sus chalecos salvavidas en todo momento y sea extremadamente precavido y diligente cuando decida navegar en este lago. Si hay gorras blancas, no le recomendamos que intente navegar. Este lago exige respeto y precaución.

Parrilla de gas: puede usar la parrilla de gas para cocinar. El pozo de fuego en el frente está disponible para usar, sin embargo, debe traer su propia leña.

Puede usar el punto ubicado en la propiedad adyacente para nadar. A solo un corto paseo hacia el lanzamiento del bote público hay una pequeña playa para nadar y es más adecuada para niños pequeños. Justo a la izquierda de esa playa hay un muelle privado (BLANCO) que puedes usar durante tu estadía.

La bomba de calor en la pared es para calor y aire frío. Deslice el control remoto hacia abajo para los controles. Hay un ventilador en el armario trasero de servicios públicos.

No hay wi-fi, sin embargo, recibirá una señal débil del campamento adyacente. La contraseña se proporciona al registrarse.

Cosas que quizás desee traer: toallas de papel, papel higiénico, bolsas de basura, leña, agua (jarras de galones), toda la comida y bebida, protector solar, repelente de insectos, cámara, champú y artículos de tocador, secador de cabello y detergente para la ropa.

The cabin is located on a promontory or curve in this long, large lake. It is possessed of beautiful vistas, across the way Mt. Kineo towers over the water. The cabin itself is very cozy with its comfortable furniture and features knotty pine. It is perfectly quiet and one goes to sleep listening to the lake water.It could use a more thorough cleaning, and the non-stick pans should be replaced. Those are the only reasons I did not choose the 5 star rating.

We truly appreciate this guest bringing to our attention a few deep-cleaning items that had been overlooked. She was absolutely right in noting details such as dust bunnies behind the couch, toast crumbs in the toaster, and care needed under the sink. We strive to provide an excellent experience in a beautiful and well-kept cottage, and part of that is maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Thanks to her helpful note at checkout, these items have already been addressed, and we will also remove any cookware that is no longer in good condition. Cleanliness is very important to us, and we are committed to improving our deep-cleaning practices throughout the season.

Amazing Stay!

Our family of four had an amazing time! We had a very nice welcome from the hosts. The location on the lake was stunning…we enjoyed swimming right from the property and kayaking. The house was well equipped and very comfortable! We didn’t want to leave. The area has so much to offer…we hiked, went boating, ATVing, and mountain biking! We hope to come back again some day!

Location, location, location!

The location was fabulous. directly across Moosehead Lake from Mt. Kineo. The house was rustic, beds were comfortable and all appliances worked. We had a fire one night and could see the Milky Way in the dark sky.

Heaven on earth

The property was like being in heaven. The view was spectacular overlooking the lake with Mt Kineo in the distance. Tracey and Guy were excellent hosts, available for anything we needed. It felt like our souls were restored by God while we were there. We were so sad when we had to leave. Thank you Tracey and Guy for sharing your beautiful piece of heaven with us.

The perfect location!

We spent a week here in late August and it was the perfect family getaway in the perfect location! The location has a large grass lawn to play games in or layout in the sun. You can swim right off the point and/or launch your paddleboard or kayak. The best part is overlooking the gorgeous lake and Mount Kineo right across the way! With the firepit we would get a fire going and watch the sunlight setting against the rock face across the lake. We also walked to the small town beach and to the boat launch where you can ride the ferry to Mount Kineo State Park and golf course (though we don't golf). Overall a very quite, very private, and just perfect location for those looking to get away! The cabin itself had everything we would need including most kitchen supplies, which was nice. The kids slept in the upstairs loft which has twin beds, they liked being up there. We enjoyed the screened in porch and would sit there in the evenings and just listen to the lake sounds. Tracey and Guy were accommodating hosts and responded very promptly to my one question early in the week. We got to meet them on the final weekend and other than that we were left to our own, which was great! I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a prime lake front location, with or without kids, and just RELAX for a week!

Moosehead Tranquility

The cabin and its location were perfect. The first and last thing you see each day is Mt Kineo which was beautiful. We not only got to canoe to it, but took the ferry (in walking distance) to hike it. Everything needed for a week of rest and relaxation was provided at the cabin. Tracey and Guy thought of everything!

Fell in love with Mooshead Lake

We absolutely loved our vacation on Mooshead Lake, the camp was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed and is a perfect quite spot with amazing views. We enjoyed the beach and fire pit daily, and if you have a boat the lake is just phenomenal! My only complaint was that the camp needed a good cleaning, but luckily they had cleaning stuff/vacuum and we did so daily! We just fell in love with the lake and plan on vacationing on Mooshead yearly!

Lake living at its finest

We had a lovely week at this adorable lake house. The view of Mt. Kineo was spectacular! We loved hearing the loons at night and watching sunrises and sunsets across the lake. Nothing better than enjoying the view while having coffee on the screen porch in the mornings and campfires at night. The cottage was sparkling clean, and the hosts were super nice. They even offered for our kids to use some of their toys and helped us find a good spot to see moose (we saw 3!). It’s so convenient that this cottage is just steps to the Kineo ferry. Don’t miss the chance to hike there. It’s pretty special. We hope to be back to this region and to this lovely spot specifically. Thank you!

Lovely getaway

Tracey and Guy really have an amazing spot here! The property itself was perfect; on the water with a gorgeous view of Mt Kineo. It was sparkling clean! The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were lovely and outfitted with space heaters, which was an awesome feature given it was still quite chilly at night. We loved having a campfire each night. There were games and a TV. The owners were so friendly and accessible! I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed getaway!

Absolutely wonderful!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is cozy and very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. The view was fantastic! The owners were very responsive to communication. We especially liked that we could bring our dog and he also had a great time! We highly recommend this rental and hope to be back!

Lake House with Charm and a View!

My husband and I enjoyed everything about our stay in this charming house on the lake. The owner provided whatever you would need to make your stay pleasurable. Comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and the screen porch with rocking chairs made our days there all the better. Definitely would highly recommend!

Our Rockwood getaway

This camp is amazing. It's stocked with everything you need. It's also very clean and so cozy. We were able to see the sunrise/sunsets everyday that were breathtaking. We enjoyed the fire pit, we were able to canoe, hike Mt kineo. We also met the owners who were very nice and accommodating if we needed anything. We will be back again for a 3rd time next year. I would highly recommend this camp.

Another wonderful stay!

We absolutely love this cottage. It couldn't be located in a more beautiful spot. The cottage itself is spacious and beautifully kept. You have everything you'll need to enjoy your stay. Amazing long weekend in Rockwood

Great cabin. Views were absolutely beautiful. Convenient location for boating, ATVs and ferry to Mt Kineo. Hosts were very welcoming and the cabin had everything we needed. We will definitely return.

Amazing!

Tracey and Guy were such great people. They greeted us at check in and gave us a tour and were very knowledgeable about the area. You cannot beat the view of the lake and Mt. Kineo! It’s breathtaking. They had everything in the cabin that you needed. I highly recommend this cabin if your looking for a beautiful relaxing vacation!

Wonderful !

The setting was lovely with wonderful view of Mt. Kineo. Lovely lawn and great fire pit. The house had everything we needed. Terrific screened in porch with rocking chairs was very relaxing! We were greeted warmly when we arrived by Tracey and Gus, and were given suggestions on where to hike in surrounding area. It was a everything we had hoped for. The whole family had a great time with water sports, and hiking. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous Views ~ Beautiful, Quiet Location

My husband and I and our son recently stayed at this cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is cute and has everything we needed. Beds are very comfortable. The outdoor fire pit with beautiful view of Kineo can't be beat. Owners were there to great us and make sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to returning.

This is where we go to unplug and rewind. The views and energy at this spot are very tranquil and relaxing. If you are looking for action, this is not the place. If you are looking to relax, read a book, hike Kineo, boat, sun bath, enjoy good food and family time, this is the perfect spot. Nighttime views are amazing with endless stars.
