El Sylvan es la última incorporación a los Amarres, ubicado en una zona boscosa, es una construcción nueva con un diseño abierto, 2 dormitorios, una espectacular chimenea de piedra y una gran terraza con vistas al puerto.

Nuestro resort es para aquellos que desean un lugar cómodo y tranquilo a lo largo de la costa. Ofrece unidades privadas y completamente renovadas en casas históricas a lo largo de la costa de Maine con vistas al puerto y al océano. Cada unidad ofrece un amplio espacio.

The Moorings se encuentra a solo 2 minutos a pie de REILLY'S STORE con finas carnes, pescados y productos, una línea completa de comestibles, delicatessen, periódicos, licores completos, excelentes vinos y cervezas, pan y muffins frescos, alquiler de películas. Horario: 8 a.m. a 6 p.m.todos los días. Luego camine por el camino hacia el puerto y Back Cove. Más tarde, camine por el jardín hasta la piscina y el jacuzzi.

Very spacious, and we really enjoyed the privacy of the property. Between the big yard area and large deck, it was a really comfortable housing option with our reactive dog.

A bit dissapointed

No hot water for 2 days. Was told to expect a partial refund but none has been refunded View of harbor as depicted was not so. Well appointed kitchen. Close to New Harbor and Pemequid Point. Washer and dryer in a different building with restricted usage times. When used washer failed and we took wet laundry to Laundry in Damariscotta to finish.

The worst rental experience we have had - EVER

We have had multiple vrbo rentals, multiple stays at hotels and RCIs and this, by far, is the most terrible experience we have had from all of our vacations. 1. The directions were terrible. It doesn't even give a reference address but rather a "second red sign" after which you take a right. We arrived late in the evening. And it was a very scary experience. The host did not answer her phone number and we scrambled in a poorly lit forest area for a good scary 30 minutes. 2. The property does not have an actual door but rather two large open balcony concept doors that provided zero privacy. Sunrise was at 430 am and the two doors did not have any curtains. 3. The deck, which is the main entrance is weathered and has at least one hole that could trap easily a small child's foot. Which is a safety concern 4. The AC was not functional. 5. The closets had all kind of furniture. Under the beds was dusty. 6. I had to ask the host 3 times over 3 days about washer and dryer. She gave me instructions to drive to a different property and did not tell me there were tenants in that property. 7. The kitchen faucet was stuck on shower and could not turn to steady stream. Warm water was very slow to come in. 8. The faucets in the bathroom were also slow steam and warm water took a long time to come in 9. The warm water in the shower was weak. We had to take multiple cold showers. 10. The swimming pool which is indoors and iwas very cold for the first week we were there. Got fixed at the end of our stay. 12. The staff on the property are rude. We took towels with us from the pool, as instructed, and kept them with us, as instructed. The staff, a lady who did not introduce herself, approached my kids as they were approaching the pool where I was waiting for them, and took the towels from them. She approached my minor kids without my permission. Pretty shady. I actually asked her who she was and she introduced herself as "the lady who helps the owner". I really was not going to leave a review because we liked the area and the town. But the host slapped me, on my way to the airport with a 150$ cleaning because the property was "dirty" based on her staff assessment. She provided no vacuum cleaner and there were some crums on the floor but we left dishes in washer as instructed. The host does not live there. I am seriously concerned that her staff had "profiled" us for whatever reason, was rude to us and our kids. This was a horrible experience.

We went in off season so had the pool all to ourselves. Loved the hot tub too!!

Easy to rent and owners were there and treated us very friendly.

Girls Trip 2021

Renting this property was very easy and the owner replied to me promptly and was friendly. It was quiet, and I loved the choices of the indoor pool/hot tub and tennis court that were nicely maintained. We enjoyed making our own meals so having pots and pans was appreciated. We loved being able to sit out on the deck in the early morning and evenings.

Great location, but.......

Great to a point. Wish I had known it was up a long flight of outside stairs. Needs some additions and adjustments. Kitchen without hot mitts, towels, ice trays etc. One bath with very hot water in the shower and none in the sink. No blinds or curtains. No view as in the ad. Laundry only available in the basement of another rental house. Great location!

Lovely Cottage in a Lovely Harbour!

Despite some brief issues initially, we enjoyed our time here immensely! The cottage has all the comforts of home (sheets and beds were soft and cozy, dishwasher and small air conditioner appreciated, and an excellent gas stove). The airy feel of the place, with the huge windows and amazing verandah, inspired calm. So quiet and peaceful, with no real neighbours, but a tennis court my children played at almost daily, and an indoor pool/jacuzzi besides, was heavenly. The location is great - a short walk and one minute drive to groceries, the best ice cream my son says he’s ever had, the bank. Two minutes away? Shaw’s, on the harbour, with the most delicious seafood, Pemaquid Beach, Biscaye Pond, the Fort, New Harbour. And if you like antiques, fine art, picturesque views of quaint houses, boats, you will find the Maine of your dreams. Close to bigger, and still quaint towns of Wiscasset, Damariscotta (day “DAMNriscotta so you sound like a local), Bath - and an hour from Portland, you couldn’t ask for a better location. The management is only an email away, and they are very kind and very helpful. We will be back! No hesitations recommending The Moorings to anyone. Come visit!

Beautiful, comfortable , clean home!

Place was beautiful & clean. Beds were very comfortable. A little difficult to find but it was nighttime and foggy. GPS directed us to other side of road. But then I used the directions from the site which helped. Only suggestion I have is curtains/shades on windows & sliding doors, & pulldown shades on bedroom glass doors.
