Beautiful Condo

Beautiful property with amazing lanai. We watched the sunsets and sunrise every morning. Very clean. Would stay here again!

Comfortable Wailea Condo with Expansive Lanai

This was our sixth return in seven years to Wailea and our first stay at Palms of Wailea. This was a spacious, quiet, air conditioned second floor unit with one of the biggest and nicest outdoor spaces we’ve had in Wailea offering covered space for eating and open air space to catch some sun. The location was super convenient to the Shops at Wailea, near our favorite beaches and a 10-minute drive to the great breakfast spots in Kihei.

Everything was fantastic except the check in code to unlock the front door didn’t work and we need to call the office to get access, but thankfully they were immediately available and we were able to get in without issue.

Our stay

We had an outlet problem. It took a few days to get it corrected. An electrician was called and it did get fixed. We always enjoy our stay at The Palms.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great. Spacious and well stocked. Great location. Only downside was the pool. It was not conducive to kids- was only 4 ft deep, lots of rules. Music was not allowed at the pool, nor alcohol, Marco Polo, jumping, tossing balls etc. would not stay again with kids.

A week at the palms

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a family of 8 in 3 different condos. I have to say ours was the best. We would cook and host dinners at our condo due to spacious balcony and perfect views. The place was fully stocked with all you need minus boogie boards. Fortunately other family members condos had them. The walk to beach is 1/4 mile and hot which was harder for some in our group. But We also drove to other beach areas a fee times.

Wailea Palms Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A few items could have been better quality - Bedspread had the Unit Number written in a black marker (really?!?!) Made me feel I was staying in a Motel 6. Coffee pot needed to be replaced - very old. Overall, we were satisfied, but probably wouldn't rent this unit again. A/C was incredibly loud, so you couldn't watch TV over the unit.

Thank you for this review. We are glad you were satisfied overall with this condo. It has the best view at the Palms. The reason there is a mark on the tag is that when it is taken out to be laundered, we want to make sure it does not get mixed and go to a different condo.

Great property for family of 4!

We’ve been visiting the Palms at Wailea for many years and this was one of the best! Ocean view, quiet, newer but well-stocked with kitchenware and beach chairs and umbrellas...what more could we want! The air conditioning was strong and many fans were available as well. An upper floor unit, it was easily accessible from its designated parking space right outside. The only added polish we would have suggested would be to change the master bath shower head to permit adjustment of the spray (intense fine spray took some getting used to) and the second bathroom door would not latch shut. Minor things and we hope to stay hear again! (Our kids said that of the dozen+ units we’ve tried over the ears this one was in the top 2.). Mahalo for sharing such a great property with our family!

The bedroom with the twin beds can be open to the living space or closed via shutter. So sound does travel even when the shutters are closed. The only issue we had was the pullout couch mattress. My son found it to be uncomfortable. The community is clean and beautiful, the pool is gorgeous and we used it several times which I don’t usually do. Overall, the home was in nice shape, clean and had everything we needed. We especially liked the lanai which sat 6 comfortably for mealsAnd had two chaise chairs. The view is gorgeous!!! I would stay again if not using the pullout couch.

Rental process was excellent, working with pleasant agent and straightforward process.

Loved the unit. Master bedroom large and very comfortable. Living room with comfortable furniture, and large screen TV. Best part is the Lanai - fabulous views, both morning and evening. Short walk to beaches- we swam every day, half time we walked down, and other half we drove when were taking more beach supplies with us. Having comfortable beach chairs and noodles to float on a nice touch. I finished each day with afternoon swim in the lovely pool close to unit. Overall excellent experience.

Just as advertised

It was an easy check-in and the pushbutton entrance is very easy, no worrying about having a key. Area was quiet, unit kitchen was updated which was very nice. Never had to use air conditioning stoves not sure of that situation but overall a wonderful experience and we will be back.

Watched sunrises and sunset from our lanai but only a 5 minute walk to our favorite beach. Our condo was impeccably clean. And it even has a safe for your valuables! You are only 10 minutes from snorkeling with turtles, 5 minutes from Maui Brewing Co., and 45 minutes from Lahania. Hiking in Ioa Valley is so close as is the quaint town of Paia. Love this area. The folks at Rentals Maui are extremely friendly and very helpful. Always prompt on replies and phone calls. I would highly recommend not only this condo but using Rentals Maui. Very happy with our stay and just everything!

An excellent rental. It should include more basic kitchen supplies (soy sauce, olive oil) which has been standard in our other rentals.

Outstanding property

Large, clean, fantastic views. Having a kitchen saves hundreds over the course of a week compared to hotels. Highly recommended rental for Wailea conferences or family vacation on South Maui.

We are a family of 4 and enjoyed our 2 weeks stay : the view from the living room, kitchen and terrace was incredible! We unwinded in this spacious and quiet 2 bedrooms and appreciated that beach chairs, umbrella & cooler were provided during our stay.Minor cons : we were not able to use the pool for 2 days and its schedule was temporarily reduced due to a national chlorine shortage; instead, we went to the uncrowded Keawakapu beach which was nearby - kids loved it!We will definitely come back again!

Family Vacation

My family of 4 stayed for a week, and loved this property. Great ocean view, great location in Wailea, clean and well stocked. This stay had all the items we needed to have a great adventurous vacation from tupperwear, to coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach umbrella. Checking in and out was a very simple self process, with a responsive property manager. Great stay!
