Great spot

This cute clean condo is located right across the street from the beach. The gardens are gorgeous. There are restaurants, ice cream shops, and stores all within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We enjoyed our stay and will do it again!

Excellent location which is as good as it gets. They had all the essentials - Beach chairs, umbrella, basic seasoning, cups/plates/pots/utensils. We even enjoyed pool side bbq a couple of times. The unit is spacious for a family of 4. We loved the split ACs through out in all rooms. As mentioned in some other reviews that the bathroom is a little dated but it was fine, it’s something I expected if we were staying with friends/family. We would stay in this unit again.

Great place

Location is awesome! It’s very walkable. Appreciated the air conditioning in the unit as well as the washer and dryer. The kitchen was amazingly fully stocked. We didn’t need for anything. My only somewhat complaint was that the queen bed was not comfortable for me. But I would still come back because everything else was perfect!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice unit in a fabulous location. It is fairly well equipped. The couch and pillow ottomans need to be cleaned and the carpet should be replaced with vinyl. The master bath in particular should be upgraded as water flow is poor, the fixtures and tile are original and overall it appears tired. Mostly cosmetic concerns but the plumbing issues are an aggravation in such a nicely decorated unit.

Would highly recommend this unit and would come back.

Maui Family Vacation

Perfect condo for our family vacation to Kihei. The condo was clean and having air conditioning throughout was a huge bonus! We will definitely stay at this condo when we go back to Maui!

Trip to Maui

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our reservations were for 20 days I would have thought this would have been a long enough stay to warrant enough bath soap and toilet paper for that length of stay but we had to supply our own. The furniture needs to be upgraded (couch and 2 of the 3 chairs) very uncomfortable. Also the gas stove burners don’t always light and if they do the size of the flame is only high, therefore not easy to cook on. We have stayed here in 2022 and 2023 and have reservation for 2025 so we do love the location. And the condo would love to see a few upgrades

Best unit and location!

This unit is exactly as pictured! Had everything we needed and more. The beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler were great! Close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The best unit we’ve stayed in. Will definitely stay again!

Great stay at Kihei Akahi

The place was great. Convenient and within a few minutes of the beach and restaurants. The place was clean and well-organized. It was nice having AC in every room. The internet went down briefly while we were there. It was a regional outage but the rental company was responsive and sent out someone to troubleshoot the issue. Would definitely consider staying there again the next time we are in Maui.

Beautiful Condo in Kihei

The condo is in the perfect location across the street from a beautiful beach. We loved walking to dinner and stores to shop. This was the perfect place for our family of five.

Great location for Kihei

We stayed for 5 days with 6 adults. The check in process was quick and simple, easy to find location. Spacious enough for 6 adults, ac throughout kept us very comfortable. Across the street from the beach and a few mins walk from several restaurants, shops, beaches, etc. Great location for a low key family friendly vacation. The only thing I would change is more amenities, we had one small travel bottle of body wash in each bathroom for several adults, had to go buy our own soap, shampoo etc. Overall very great stay would recommend.

Convenient and comfortable

Great condo for our family of 5. The condo had fully equipped kitchen, loved the 2 separate bathrooms. Nice patio overlooking garden area Conveniently located near beach, restaurants and shopping (very walkable). The property was clean, quiet, good amenities (pools, tennis court). We would definitely stay again.

Amazing Location

We had a great time. This property is right across the street from a fabulous beach (we even saw turtles swimming here). The kids also had a great time at the pool. The property was laid out well in that there were two bedrooms and a pullout couch to use. The downside for us was that it needed a good deep clean. There was pink mould in the bathrooms, someone else’s sock left in the bedroom and clearly the floors needed a wash/steam clean. I’m saying this, if it was cleaned better we would stay here again as the location can’t be beat.

Perfect location and clean

Awesome location and most important to me is it is Clean. The place has updated flooring which isn’t shown in the pics. Nice and close to the lower pool. My only issue is the pool has too many rules so not the best pool for kids. It’s more suited for the seniors. I think one pool should be for kids and the other for the seniors. However we had a blast with the kids directly at the beach. The beach across street is beautiful!!!!

Kihei Akahi is in a wonderful location and this unit did not disappoint. Beautiful, clean and close to everything. Great communication prior to your stay, so you are well prepared and ready to enjoy your vacation. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful place!

Absolutely beautiful property. Room was also very nice. Loved all the “accessories” that are included. Great walking distance to A LOT in Kihei. Parking is also made easy, which is always a plus. Shower had some mildew, but that comes with humidity. Would stay here again!

Great vacation

The location was great, can't be closer to the beach and stores. Lots of things to do within walking distance. The unit was clean and it was great that it had beach chairs, a couple of coolers and a snorkel kit for use while we were there.

Vacationing at Unit #203 in Kihei

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Aloha! Our family visited Maui mid December 2023 and we enjoyed our stay at Unit #203 that was clean and decorated with a blue colour theme throughout. We found that it had everything we needed to explore Maui, particularly helpful to have 6 beach chairs, two umbrellas, 1 rolling cooler for drinks, but no boogie/body board. There were supplies for laundry, dryer and dishwasher, but we brought extras as we did laundry and dishes everyday. We utilized the kitchen lots as we prefer to pick up groceries at Costco and prepare most of our meals. We found that there was an assortment of mix matched utensils, as expected in a rental unit, but found the essentials. We used the BBQ grill to cook up some fresh Mahi Mahi and pineapple on the new grills, as they have been recently replaced, which was awesome! We do recommend eating out at "Three's Bar and Grill" for afternoon Happy Hour from 3-7 p.m., as their menu is delicious and great price!! Don't forget to pick up Shaved Ice! The fans and air conditioning of the unit were truly appreciated and also the TV's to watch the local news and weather to plan which place to explore. It was a perfect location to walk to Kam II beach and watch the sunsets. We were happy that the location was a short drive to get to the beaches in Wailea, such as Big Beach and Secret Cove Beach, as well as The Shops at Wailea to pick up souvenirs at SoHa Living, plus Luppert's sorbet and ice cream. Overall, we would recommend this unit for a future stay to family and friend while vacationing in Maui. Mahalo!
