You will be sure to enjoy your next Oregon Coast getaway at this Tierra Del Mar vacation rental. It sits right in the middle of the tranquil village where beach access is a short walk down the street. There you will find plenty of uncrowded sandy beach to explore in either direction. The house includes everything you would expect to make for a comfortable stay, including a modern kitchen equipped with everything you need to whip up tasty meals and a deck out front and back so you can enjoy the outdoors as well.



What's nearby:

Sitka Sedge State Natural Area is just 0.9 miles to the north along Sandlake Road where you can go for a hike and explore the wonders of the area. Or, head two miles up the road and you will find Whalen Island County Park where you can hike all the way around the island. Pacific City is under four miles to the south down Sandlake Road, where you will find several dining options, groceries, necessities, and more.

Cozy Beach House

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this cozy beach house. We love the close and easy access to the beach. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, which made our vacation very relaxing. We would definitely stay there again!

Everything we needed!

The house was very clean and well stocked with nice dishes and linens. We slept well in the comfortable bed in the quiet neighborhood and enjoyed short hikes on Whalen Is. and the beautiful beach. Perfect!

Great location

Uncrowded beach. We’ll stocked kitchen. There were a few sugar ants in the kitchen but otherwise it is a decent property.

Nice stay

It’s was a nice stay. No cell service but good wifi. The only problems we had were a few ants downstairs and the tub filling up with water during a shower. Otherwise it was clean, and a great location.

Great Place

Comfortable and close to the beach. The key didn't work on the front door. It opened the side door. That would have been helpful to know but no big deal!

Mediocre melodies

Location is close to beach but nothing to see except bunnies. Surrounding homes run down and apparently drinking water was not safe but we were not informed until the notice on the doorstep said we didn’t have to boil it anymore. Well stocked and clean, no ants thanks to all the traps, beds quite noisy so don’t roll over.

Close to the beach

It’s a comfortable home and we loved the close access to the private beach. Location is amazing. We encountered a problem with sugar ants all over the kitchen so that needs to be remedied before the next guests stay here. Please be aware that this property isn’t well stocked. There was no toilet paper or extra paper towels, no condiments and we only had a little bit of dishwasher soap left. So bring everything you think you will need.

We checked in after dark, had a horrible time finding the key box with no lights turned on. Frustrat

We loved it but as I said we could not see anything after dark, there needs to be lights turned so people can find the key lock box after hours or you need to advise customers where the key lock box is located.

1) The keypad for the door did not work and there is zero cell service there. Luckily they present the wireless info and I was able to connect that way. After about 30 minutes with waiting they finally just gave me the code to the lockbox and I got out the house key. 2) The screen door to the front door is not in great condition. One of the hinges is completely off the door frame so closing it was a pain and also the door handle took some work to open it when it was closed all the day. 3) Upon entering I needed the restroom so I went to the 1/2 bath downstairs. Upon finishing my business I went to wash my hands and there was no soap in the dispenser. 4) It was obvious in a few places that they did not vacuum very well. I saw some bits of food on the floor in a couple places, one of the seats and something on it, there were some debris on the upstairs floors and also behind the blue lift chair. 5) There were zero paper towels I could find. For those of you looking at the multiple beds know that the two queen beds they show a picture of are in the loft area which is right out side the only bedroom. If you are going with another couple this probably wouldn't be idea. I did not get that from the pictures. The place was inexpensive enough and it served my purpose but I was a solo traveler. Ultimately for me what it comes down to is if I was going to do the same trip again I would look at booking a different place.
