the crab shack has its ups and downs but it has a beautiful view and lovely sunsets. the kitchen is pretty well stocked with stuff. I always take my pans I cook in a lot and my knifes. I like sharp knifes to peel potatoes. all in all it was good.

The host is very communicative. This property is basic and cute, very close to the bay - so convenient for spending time on the beach. The Wi-Fi did not work and the cellular service in this part of the coast is nearly non-existent for many cellular providers.

Although it didn’t have the personal touch of other Vrbos that we have stayed in it had the basics we needed. There was enough dishes and utensils for the two of us but not for a family. We didn’t have the ant problem as described by others and the customer service was excellent with quick personal responses. The bed was comfortable and the view was spectacular! I would recommend getting any groceries needed in Tillamook as the nearby market has convenient store prices. We will definitely be back!!

The view is unbeatable. Gorgeous views from the deck and living area of Netarts Bay. We appreciated the binoculars available so we could spot the deals across the bay! We appreciated having the washer and dryer for our use. Parking a little confusing as the neighboring property tenants had to tell us the parking space needed to be shared with them. The property was fine with us, was clean, had plenty of linens available, etc. but feel the property needs updating as the carpet has stains, paint is peeling in spots, the light fixtures need replacing. We felt unaffected by any of the suggested need for improvements listed above but feel in order to give an honest review, we should include

Great location, beautiful view, decent water pressure, all essentials you need in the kitchen. Dirty dishes, dirty grimy blinds, musty and worn in, and ants. Someone responded quick when we noticed ants in one area and they came to spray. Then there ants covering one of the beds, so one room became unusable for the night. It’s an old well loved house and we appreciate the space being shared. I wouldn’t choose stay here again however.

Beautiful beach vacation

This house was just right. It had all of the amenities we needed to make our stay comfy, and it is right on the beach. The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family to sleep and hang out watching a movie and playing games. I would stay here again.

A rather shabby cabin at the end of a rather shabby street but the shabbiness is quickly forgiven when you see the spectacular ocean view from the deck, the living room, and one of the bedrooms !

It was a great spot by the beach. We enjoyed the view. However, this place is pretty run down and could use some TLC. It says it sleeps six but there’s only 5 forks and 5 spoons…. There was some food left in the oven grates from the last people. While there weren’t any ants in the kitchen, there were ants everywhere in the bedrooms!! Kept waking up with ants on our pillows. The blinds are falling apart as well. It’s great though that it’s within walking distance to the local grocery store. The heat worked well. We couldn’t figure out the DVD player unfortunately. But the streaming services worked. Overall for a beach view and great access to the beach it was great

ANTS!! I gave this place one star because I could not give it zero.It was ok, cool spot near the beach, cute store nearby. The place was cleaned oki, but there were a few ants visible in the evening, ant traps behind the couch -we figured since it is near beach and damp, there may be a few ants. We always keep food items in the frige, keep sinks clean, etc.In the morning -ANTS everywhere -in the bed, the bathroom, the window sills, a trail across the floor. I believe that we should receive a refund. There were ants in the luggage that was on top of a carry on! We had to vaccuum out our luggage and put all our things in a hot dryer to be sure we did not have them in our place when we got home that day. Gross experience

Such a cute, quirky little place in a quiet little neighborhood (Netarts is great! Much more relaxed feel, instead of some of the busier, touristy areas of the Oregon Coast) with an AMAZING view. Loved sitting in the little sunroom area watching and listening to the ocean. The stairs right down to the beach were great, it was nice to have such close beach access. This had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days, we had absolutely no problems or issues, everything was clean, if a bit older, but that just added to the fun of the place. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent location in the tiny town of Netarts. All the needed amenities close by. Amazing ocean views with fabulous sunset vistas every evening. Loved it! Would stay again.
