It`s an easy 8 minute drive to the Skyeship Gondola for skiing in Killington, a 15 minute drive to Woodstock and Quechee for shopping and restaurants, or a short walk to Long Trail Brewery, giving you the best of Vermont from your front door. Whether you’re planning a cozy mountain getaway, ski trip, foliage weekend, or a summer adventure, our home is an ideal getaway in every season.
Hosted by HelmsBnB, this charming home can sleep 6 and offers a comfortable space for you to return to after a day of exploring! It`s only a 12 minute drive to Killington Mountain with skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and mountain biking trail. There are also award winning golf courses, rafting along the peaceful Ottauquechee River, and an easy 15 minute drive into the charming towns of Woodstock, Quechee for the quintessential Vermont experience. A perfect spot to call home for families, couples or small groups looking to explore all that Vermont has to offer!
This listing is for one unit of a two unit home. There may be other guests in unit one during your rental. The shared spaces are noted below.
Enter through a lovely, shared screened in front porch with ample space with ski/snowboard racks to store your equipment and leave your boots after a day on the slopes. Unit 2`s private entrance leads to a mudroom for your shoes and coats. Up the stairs you`ll find the following, all on the 2nd floor:
-Fully stocked kitchen -- oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher, blender, toaster, drip coffee pot (with complimentary start up coffee), tea kettle, cookware, serveware and dinnerware etc.
- Dining table with seating for 6
- Living room
- Washer/Dryer with start up laundry supplies
- Bathroom with shower and tub
- Bedroom with a king size bed, two twin bunk bed, and TV
- Bedroom with a queen size bed with desk set up for working from home (if you must!)
The backyard is an oasis with lush green space and an amazing deck and hot tub. This is shared between the two units
Backyard - shared space:
- Wood fire-pit with Adirondacks
- Deck with professionally maintained hot tub and patio furniture/ string lights
- Wishing well
- Charcoal and Propane grills
Guests have access to Unit 2 (upstairs), there is no access to the downstairs unit. Guests have access to Unit 2 and the grounds, with exception of a locked storage closet, basement, and the barn.

While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care or plowing during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays.
We are dog friendly and require a non-refundable $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs, max). This does not cover any damage or waste pickup and all dogs must be house trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not allow cats due to guest allergies.
We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video on all exterior entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.
Absolutely no smoking inside or near open exterior doors - there is a $250 fee if this is violated.
Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card fees.
