In November 2025, The Roost underwent some restoration—thoughtfully updated to preserve its authentic character while incorporating modern comfort. The interior is tastefully appointed with a bold Motorcycle, Automobile, and Outdoor Powersports theme, making it an ideal retreat for Rally riders, motorsports enthusiasts, and Black Hills adventurers alike.
Perfectly blending history with modern technology, the dedicated media room features a new 50" QLED 4K Smart TV, ready to stream all your favorite streaming applications and professional content—from movie nights after a day of riding to virtual meetings on the road. Designed with flexibility in mind, the space includes a futon that can be used for an additional guest. The Roost includes high-speed internet delivering up to 350 Mbps speed capable of supporting seamless remote work, crystal-clear video calls, and lag-free online gaming.

The Riders Roost is a theme base property catering to those with a passion for the Black Hills, Sturgis Rally, outdoor power sports, Hot Rods and automobile touring in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Sturgis is at the hub the Black Hills and focus for the 20 plus unique rallys that occur annually in the area. Sturgis is a gateway to the Black Hills and is centrally located between Rapid City and Spearfish South Dakota. You can literally travel 45 minutes in any direction to any of the many Black Hills attractions including Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Spearfish Canyon, and if you add 20 miuntes you can head to Devils Tower National Monument or Badlands National Park.
