Nuestra casa está situada en la orilla norte del lago de junio. Vista trasera de nuestra casa es en su mayoría de cristal desde donde se puede disfrutar de hermosas vistas durante todo el día. Nuestra casa está situada en una terraza elevada que prevé puestas de sol y vistas generales panorámicas al lago. No hay nada como este pedacito de cielo en la tierra. Si usted es una familia en busca de un lugar ideal para unas vacaciones de verano lago o una pareja que desea el mejor lugar posible para pasar el invierno, nuestra casa es la respuesta a sus necesidades.

Nuestra familia ha encantaba venir a Lake Placid desde hace muchos años. Tenemos muchos buenos recuerdos de la familia de disfrutar de maravillosos días descansando en el muelle, paseos en bote por el lago o simplemente disfrutar de la casa. Este es un gran lugar para invitar a toda la familia o amigos a los que quiere traer. Vamos a crear algunos recuerdos de su cuenta, usted será feliz de haberlo hecho!

We had a wonderful stay! The property offered a stunning view and was fully equipped with everything we needed. It easily accommodated both a 90th birthday celebration and Thanksgiving dinner, making it the perfect spot for family gatherings. Highly recommend!

Nothing Quite Like This 'Peace Of Heaven On Earth Review

Excellent rental! Our crew absolutely loved the location, the peacefulness, the beautiful sunsets, and layout of the home. It was very clean, well-stocked with kitchen supplies and paper products. The host was great at communications. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our crew to relax after a long day at the race track. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for our group

I would gladly stay at this property many times over. We brought our 4 kids and grandparents. The house was situated well and very cozy. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with cooking supplies. The dock was very enjoyable, we even did some swimming. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The host was very communicative and generous with the use of their home. You can tell this place is owned by a family who loves this place.

Very comfortable and clean property on Lake Placid

We stay in properties all over this area when our company works at Sebring Raceway. This is by far one of the best experiences we've had. Brian was extremely responsive and helpful from the moment we booked, all the way through checkout. We will definitely be renting from him again!

Canoe Kayak Training Camp

Brian was so easy to work with. I had some delays in my booking and he was very flexible. Brian was quick to respond to questions and/or any concerns. Once our group arrived, the house was exactly what was advertised. It was very clean and extremely well stocked. I have used VRBO for years and a lot of places have advertised being well stocked i.e. cookware, bedding, towels, outdoor seating, games but this place really truly was. You don't need to bring anything. We were a training group of 10 teens and 3 adults. We were very comfortable inside and outside. The accessibility to the lake is what we were there for and it did not disappoint. It did get a bit windy but we were able to quickly get to other areas to paddle. I can't speak much to the town Lake Placid, we spent most of our time at the house. The kids had a great time and were able to get a lot of hard work done on the water.

So comfortable, my Team had nothing but great things to say about this home.

This is a very well maintained home, nicely upgraded, super, super clean and very comfortable. The Crew was in the area on business so, they didn't get any time to enjoy the lake. The backyard is beautiful, and the awesome view of the lake is just what you need after a long day "at the office". Brian is a fantastic host, very attentive and available. From booking to check out and everything in-between, this home was a great fit. I absolutely recommend this host and this property.

Good place to stay for a month.

Basically clean, but not deep clean. Wonderful beds and pillows. Great view. Since it is on the main road, there is no place to take a walk, but the park is only a couple of miles away. Very well-stocked kitchen with everything you need.

Great Lakefront House

Loads of activities for kids and adults just steps from the house. We had a blast enjoying all of the lake activities - fishing, kayaking, and just playing in the shallow, sandy area by the dock. Owner was responsive to every communication and always offered to help with anything that came up. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful homron the lake.

The property is great for a large family. The Host is easy to access and is very helpful. The views from the main floor are simply gorgeous. The home is not new but has been maintained well. The sunsets are for memory making. Convenient restaurant across the street. Peaceful location. Would definitely return.

Family Reunion and Memorial

rented this lake home to join my family for Memorial Celebration in honor of my dad. all 9 of us were quite comfy lower level sleeping for those that are not morning people was great Lovely sunrise and sunsets viewed on upper level deck. used the dock to tie up my brothers boat when he was visiting us We would definitely come back if the need arises for us

Wonderful Lake House

Our trip was a short one and a last minute decision. Through it all, Brian was EXTREMELY accommodating and easy to communicate with. The only thing I could have wished for is for our stay to be longer. Here are the highlights: - Spectacular views - Plenty of room for our 4 adults and 1 one teenager with room for more. - House stocked with all the supplies you could need. - Easy check-in and check-out - Great location that made for a very peaceful and relaxing time with family We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful in every way.

This property checked all our boxes and so many more!

It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Our digital photo album is filled with picturesque shots worthy of framing. The 4 spacious bedrooms all had comfortable beds, nice linens and plenty of dresser/closet storage for longer stays. We especially enjoyed having two master suites with large sliding door/windows and views of Lake June. The 3 full bathrooms were clean, sanitary, and had plenty of bath and beach towels. Multiple living spaces (each with large screen TV) allowed family or guests to have their own space or gather together as desired. A large modern kitchen and dining area contained more than just the basics. It lacked for nothing. The utility room had a washer/dryer and a second full size refrigerator/freezer that served as extra cold storage for entertaining. The outdoor ground floor patio (with fire pit) and second story balcony both with lake views provided additional entertaining space. We utilized the gas grill daily. Use of a kayak was appreciated and we paddled from Lake June to Lake Henry multiple times. The dock is the envy of other lake homes with 2 huge swings and picnic table. A floating water mat and stationary volleyball net in the lake provided intergenerational fun and activity. Lake June fishing abounds. There were many indescribable sunrises and sunsets that will forever be in our memory. Wildlife was all around and we especially enjoyed watching the many variety of birds. Owner, Brian, was responsive and very pleasant. Thank you Brian for allowing us to share your beautiful Lake House. My husband and I can’t express our gratitude enough.

Truly a home away from home

Brian is wonderful to work with. The home has all the added touches to make it a home away from home from shared items in the cupboards and fridges, to toys for the kids, towels, sunscreen, fire pit, water toys, life jackets, and the list goes on. I can honestly say when I leave this place I actually don't want to go home. We have come here a few times now and will continue to book yearly. We call it our " lake home" that we don't actually have to own :) Thanks Chapman Family!

The Chapmans were so accommodating and gracious to us.

The property is gorgeous, the Lake June experience was superb. Celebrating a Birthday and having our Family reunion there brought back such great memories of our times in the past on Lake June! This was the perfect place and our whole family enjoyed the house and the view.

Perfect Lake House!

This is the second year in a row that we stayed at this fabulous lake house and we can't wait to go back again next year! We have stayed at other houses in the area and none of them even come close to this one. The view from the living area is incredible. It is ideal for families with teenagers as there is a second area for the kids to hang out and watch movies. The water level is not too deep for small kids as well. It is decorated beautifully and is so well stocked. There is everything you could possibly want or need in the kitchen and lots of beach towels, sunscreen and lake toys. We always bring a boat and spend most of our time out on the wonderful dock which has two large swings and a picnic table. Brian the owner goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect and when I asked for a restaurant recommendation this year we discovered the best steakhouse ever. The Cowpoke Watering Hole is not far and has incredible steaks. And of course no trip to the lake is complete without a trip to Henscratch Winery. We love feeding the chickens, sampling the wine and their grape seed oil.

LAKE PLACID'S BEST KEPT SECRET!

This is so much more than a traditional vacation rental. The house sets back off the main road and first appears as a charming single story lake home in old Florida style. There’s a large front yard and long driveway lined with majestic oak trees complete with hanging Spanish moss. Once parked, we saw the house is actually two stories with a full length second story balcony overlooking the lake. A magnificent four bedroom, three bath house, with full kitchen, vaulted ceiling family room with spectacular views of the lake, and a downstairs living room that’s all beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy. The covered dock out in the lake was a favorite spot for morning coffee and watching the evening sunset. The lake itself is peaceful and never got overcrowded with boats or wave-runners. There’s also plenty of outdoor space to throw around a football or Frisbee, and there's a basketball hoop. We really enjoyed our stay here and absolutely love this house because it felt more like a home. We would highly recommend this little slice of paradise to anyone and we are already planning our next visit.

Total Perfection!

We could not have been more pleased with this house. We had three families with children of all ages. The layout of the house was perfect. Kids could nap during the day, adults could still gather in the family room, on the patio or out on the dock and not disturb sleeping kiddos. There were two televisions, so the kids and adults could watch at the same time. The access to the lake was great. We had a 2 yr old and a 3 yr old, and the lake depth at the shore was just right for them. But towards the end of the dock, the depth was just right for bigger kids and adults. The kitchen had everything you might need to make a meal for a larger group. There was nothing the owners had forgotten (even had a few toys for the kids on hand). Really prefect for the whole family. Owner was really easy to deal with. Always responded to questions promptly. Easy as pie to work with him. Can't recommend this house enough! Thank you for letting our family make some wonderful memories in your home!

VACATION RENTING AT IT'S BEST!

We LOVED this house! Great location, great decor, and great view of our favorite lake. We've been vacationing in the Lake Placid area for over 20 years and we all agreed that this has been our favorite place to stay. The view from the second floor is exceptional...makes you feel like you are "right there" on water. The 4 teenagers we had with us enjoyed hanging out in their own domain downstairs although they spent most of the week out on the water fishing, swimming, boating, & tubing. (We brought our own boat.) The water was shallow enough that we were able to set up our volleyball net for some good clean family fun. The water tapers off gradually and doesn't get very deep until past the dock so it's perfect for those with younger children. The covered dock, with its pair of swings, is great too. We had several visitors come over during the week and we all agreed that the decor is just adorable. We really enjoyed our stay in this home and the owner, Brian, was a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful Vacation Rental

What a great place to spend December in Florida! The temperatures were warm, and the views from this lovely home were excellent. We enjoyed the sunsets over Lake June in Winter (LJiW) every evening from the dock, as well as fishing & boating on the lake. The town of Lake Placid is noted for its murals, which are quite extraordinary works of art. The Chapman's were great homeowners to work with throughout the rental process. Brian & Sloan Chapman live in Ft Myers, Florida. Brian is an insurance agent and Sloan has spent her life raising our 5 children. We have 1 daughter and 4 sons. Currently the oldest 4 are married and we have 16 grandchildren, ALL of which love coming to the Lake.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We chose this property because of the Southern exposure but also because it is in a shallow part of the Lake. The depth is about 4 feet off the end of our dock. The water is clear, the bottom is hard packed sand and allows for a lot of fun activities swimming off the end of the dock. This is a perfect place for small children.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love this house because of all the small personal touches we've added that make it so nice. You will enjoy sitting on the swing on the dock at sunset or sitting at the picnic table in the early morning coolness with a hot cup of coffee watching the mirror like lake wake up.
