Lakeside Paradise on huge lake

The perfect spot for fun on the lake. Our home consists of 4 bedrooms and 4 baths and it’s perfect for a family reunion or getaway. It includes everything you need to have a fun time in the lake such as paddle board, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, jet ski lifts and just about everything you can imagine.
The first level has a master bedroom with a king bed and bath. It also has a second bedroom with a queen bed and a separate bathroom. The second floor consists of 2 bunkhouse style bedrooms each with its own bathroom.
The Florida room is perfect for entertaining and contains just about every game you need to make the memories of a lifetime. The kitchen is fully stocked and contains everything you need to make a perfect family dinner.
The focus of the home is the lake with more than 2000 sq feet of white sandy private beach. The screened in patio with many games to have fun even on rainy days. The house has a perfectly positioned deck with fire pit and plenty of seating. Lastly, the dock is an outdoor heaven with a beautiful jumbo swing and plenty of seating. There are no words that can fully describe this lakeside paradise. Just come an experience it for yourself!

Wonderful trip!!

The house was very clean and comfortable! We had 10 people total and never felt too crowded. The host was excellent with communication. Will definitely stay here again!

A GREAT TIME, GREAT PLACE

If you're wanting a quiet, detached, peaceful getaway, this is it. Consider - a huuuuuuge lake , kayaks, pedalboats and canoes, outdoor grill, a nice outdoor beach, a chill area, big deck, hammocks , neighbors a good distance away, a nice sized house and quiet, quiet, quiet. Suffice to say the house is as described, as is the property,

GREAT PROPERTY

This house had everything you'd need for your stay. It has been wonderfully renovated. The two bunkrooms had plenty of room for lots of teens (loved the queen lowers). The dock was super fun with all the hammock chairs. Bugs are definitely an issue but not sure how anyone gets away from that. Huge living room for everyone and large TV's for movie nights. Will be staying here again!

Family Reunion

We enjoyed our stay. We had a wonderful time with family, enjoying all the home had to offer. We had some issue with some appliances not working but Patricia was very quick to respond. The sandy beach was not as clean as we would have preferred, the slide was not fully inflated and the hot tub would not warm but overall we enjoyed the memories we created with our family.

Such an outstanding & fun home BOOK IT you won't be sorry!

This home is so awesome, I booked 6 of our team members to stay here and the LOVED THIS HOME and property. The home is clean, beds are really comfortable, it's in a great location, plenty of space for everyone, there are so many things to do here; Relax and enjoy the view, hang in the game room, play board games, well stocked kitchen great for making home cooked meals while on the road. Out of all 6 guests, not one had any complaints. I already booked again for 2025, I would most definitely recommend staying at this awesome property. And the hosts are absolutely the BEST! Patricia made sure we had everything we needed the entire stay. So grateful to have such an awesome home away from home with such great hosts. THANK YOU PATRICIA!!!

Don't go by pictures

Not like the pictures. First the dock was in bad shape, many rotted boards and one of the pillings that holds up the walkway was totally rotted out. My husband and I both fell through boards. I told the management company and hopefully they have fixed some of it.Picture and property list a bar and fidge in the dock, NOT there at all. Then it says can keep a boat on the lift, however the lift is missing the bumper wood that the bottom of boat would sit on so if you put boat on lift then it would put a hole in the haul. Upstairs window leaked, and with crazy summer rain we didn't find out until went upstairs and stepped on carpet by window. I informed them of this too.The entire place was dirty, I understand it's hard to find a good cleaning crew but then the property management company should do a walk through. There was someone's old contact lens stuck on the master faucet. Also hair left all over the showers and on the soap holders.They ran out of propane, told us where extra tank was and it also was empty. Offered to go get it and fill it up, but we don't want to be interrupted on our vacation. Kitchen was had limited pots and pans, I contacted management and they did fix it by ordering a pot but someone really needs to do a walk through and stock the place better. We were very disappointed.This was by far the most expensive and worst cared for homes I have ever stayed in Lake Placid area. Super disappointed.

Lake Placid Dream House

Everybody in our Family of 9 between 6 to +70 really enjoyed the 1 week stay on Lake Placid: -Great views of lake and white heron birds especially from top bedroom. -The teens loved the zip line and slider. None of the neighbors have this. -Lots of unmotorized watercraft (SUP, Canoe, Kayak, Pedalo) to try out and enjoy the lake. -During first part of the week there were zillions of flies. Luckily not stinging type. The birds loved them. At the end of the week only few flies were left. Probably a temporary occurrence. -No paper in toilets allowed due to clogged plumbing issues. The installed water bidet toilet attachments worked great. Some people had to get used to this method but in the end had no complaints at all, and might even install one at home. -The Lake Placid village with its murals is nice and has some character with friendly people and many places to have breakfast, coffee or dinner. People go to dinner early. After 8pm choices are a bit limited. -Bring your own fishing gear or buy it in one of the nearby tackle shops (e.g. Fishbone Tackle) and get good tips how to catch some nice bass from the dock. -Host resolved questions/issues very promptly. In summary: Everybody would love to stay there again. THANKS

Amazing Trip!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property and we were all sad to leave. The home has everything you need, we never left once! Swimming, zip line, water slide, & hot tub, plenty of entertainment for all ages. We rented a pontoon boat which was great as well. All the beds were super comfortable & the kids loved the upstairs bunk rooms. Kitchen was well stocked and has a great table for a large group. We loved the huge comfy couch in the living room. House was very clean, owners had great communication, and we would absolutely stay here again.

PRICELESS MEMORIES

Wow factor for sure! This VRBO is not your average rental. This is definitely one of the nicest homes I've ever rented. We rented it for Memorial Day Weekend for my family and friends. Honestly when they say just pack your clothes and a toothbrush this is the one for that. This home has more than my own house. This family didn't miss a trick when it came to what they provide for you. From shampoo, dishwashing detergent , bug spray, suntan lotion, towels, hair dryers, straighteners, tin foil, pots, pans, serving platters, napkins, paper towels, I can't even think of something they didn't have. This property is a gem. My family and friends had the most enjoyable weekend. There is a rope to swing into the lake, there is a zip line, kayaks, paddle boards, games, water rafts you name it...it's there. Super responsive on any info you will need. Thank you Patricia for making our stay so enjoyable I would give you 10 stars if I could. Top Notch!!!! Don't look any farther if you are thinking about a place to take your family and friends. See you next time!!

So much to do an very family friendly!

This place was perfect for our two families. We had 6 kids under the age of 5 with 4 adults. There were lots of toys inside and outside. The kids really enjoyed the beach during the day with all of the toys. The beach is very sandy. The big kids even built up the courage to try out the zip line and slide by themselves! Patricia was very accommodative and even got us a high chair and pack and play by request. It was a huge help to not have to worry about that. The house itself was beautiful. The pictures hardly do it justice. This place really has it all. And on top of all of that we had really good communication with Patricia. I recommend staying here for anyone with kids but also with only adults.

Wonderful lake vacation

What a wonderful, relaxing and fun property to stay at. The house itself was lovely and well furnished (comfy beds!). The bunk rooms are amazing and the florida room really is special. And then there was all the fun stuff to do in the lake. Paddleboards and kayaks! A rope swing! A slide! A zipline!!! It was like a mini-resort. And Patricia was super responsive anda great host.

Perfect weekend with family

If you’ve got kiddos in your group this place is a must. From the zipline to the kayaks to the slide to the fire pit our kids were never inside. Which was crazy because the bunk rooms upstairs were amazing!! We had 4 adults and 8 kids between 2 families and the layout was perfect. We made all of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect for us adults to unwind once the kids crashed from a day full of sun and swimming. We live close to Lake Placid and plan to make this house our go to rental when we visit. Communication was quick and reliable anytime we needed Patricia. Overall the whole trip and place was top notch!!

Family celebrating a Golden Wedding Anniversary

This house is the perfect family retreat! The owner's description, positive reviews, and accompanying photos made the property seem great...but it was EVEN BETTER than we expected! Clearly the owners must have a family similar to our own. Inside, the house is quite spacious. The large lounge with its own pool table (a big hit with everyone) leads to the two-tier dining area. We had space to spare when our flock of twelve sat down for meals. Both areas look out over the lake and on cooler nights we would have taken advantage of the fold-back doors. The house has four spacious bedrooms and four bathrooms with walk-in showers. There were even huge flat-screen Smart TVs in every space! But the best was yet to come. Walking outside we couldn’t believe our eyes. Who has their own zip line! Catch a ride down to the boat dock and relax in the hanging chairs and beds. Be more energetic and take out one of the canoes or kayaks. There were other boat toys which we didn’t have the time to explore fully. Besides all the amenities, the owner was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Patricia was a wonderful host. Overall there was everything we needed for a busy, fun-filled family gathering. The hot tub helped our aching bodies and a mass of board and other games stimulated the mind….. even for a couple of 75 year-olds enjoying our anniversary with the family.

Spectacular House in Lake Placid !!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Lake Placid ! The location was excellent and the house was fantastic . The property was “super” clean and organized . You can tell that the house was remodeled recently . The house was very well equipped with everything you need for a confortable stay and more . The owners put a lot of time and money in decorating this house . We were a party of 15 and we did not leave the property during our five days stay . The house had everything we needed . We truly enjoyed the lake . Our kids ages ranged from 6 thru 19 and they all had a treat time . There is a lot to do without leaving the property : zip line, slide, paddling , and canoeing. The house has its own private beach and endless board games . The beds were very comfortable and the rooms upstairs were super big . Each bedroom has its own bathroom . The owner was very attentive and responded to our questions in a timely manner. We highly recommend this house . We will definitely come back next year !

Awesome experience!

This property exceeded our expectations! The interior had all of the amenities and more. We spent most our time outdoors on this trip, because they had everything you could as for from a beach to the dock to kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, rope swing, inflatable slide, and so much more. We will definitely book this property again SOON!

Wonderful lake house getaway!

Exactly what we were looking for. A lake house away from all the hustle and bustle, yet 10 minutes to name brand grocery stores and restaurants. The fact it featured ample amenities was awesome. We were on the dock and own beach every day...took the kayaks, canoe, and even the paddle-boat out. The water was amazing, warm, and fun. Little things like the fridge on the dock and screened in porch were amazing. The house was fantastic for what we needed. 4 distinct seperate bedrooms, each basically with their own bathroom, and ample beds (the kids loved the overheard built in "bunk" beds.) Downstairs was spacious with a huge couch and a huge eat-around table for the whole family. Sometimes it gets overlooked, but LOVED that each room had its own TV in addition to the large family room TV. Owner was VERY easy to get in touch with, not that we really needed anything, had a very simple question of operation. Very down-to-earth and even let us check in a little early since nobody was leaving the day before us (which sometimes seems like a "why not?" perk but we've had other stays were the owners refused or even didn't have house ready by stated check in time...so this was amazing) Overall, I couldn't be happier. The pictures were accurate and truthful. The house was fully stocked and everything worked properly, and we had a great time. Nothing crazy about the check-out process, pretty standard and straight forward. We would DEFINITELY stay again. Worth the price as it can easily accommodate a large family like we went with. (10+).

Best house on placid

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owner was very responsive and was very accommodating with our requests. The house is very clean and well stocked. Tons of toys and games for inside and outside activities. The lanai is clean and comfortable and a huge plus for extra space
