Despite confirming my reservation multiple times, the host gave my place to someone else. My payment was mishandled, causing unnecessary stress during my stay. On top of that, there was hair in the shower that wasn’t mine, which was concerning for cleanliness. While the host apologized, this experience was extremely frustrating — especially as a first-time VRBO user. I hope future guests double-check reservations and payment confirmations, and I hope the host improves communication, processes, and hygiene standards.
