The Space:

Evenings unfold around the glow of the firepit as the air cools, while inside, the warmth of the indoor fireplace invites you to settle in after a day exploring Norfolk. Gather your group in the open living space, share a meal together, or unwind with a movie and board games as the night sets in.



The space

Designed with families and groups in mind, this 2300 sq ft home offers an open concept layout that brings everyone together while still allowing for quiet corners. The living area flows easily into the dining space, where seating for 8 makes shared meals and conversations effortless. A dedicated workspace with Wifi provides a comfortable spot to focus when needed.



Sleeping arrangements

The home features 3 bedrooms with 3 beds and 2.5 baths, accommodating up to 8 guests. Two of the three bedrooms include king beds, offering spacious and restful places to recharge. Room-darkening shades, extra pillows, and bed linens add comfort for a good night’s sleep, while a crib and Pack ’n play/Travel crib are always available for younger guests.



Family-friendly features

Thoughtfully set up for those traveling with children, the home includes a high chair, changing table, children’s dinnerware, and a child-proof interior with safety features like window guards, outlet covers, and fireplace guards. Books, board games, and a TV provide entertainment for all ages.



Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is a fully equipped space where you can prepare meals at your own pace, complete with a dining table for gathering. Enjoy coffee from the Keurig coffee machine in the morning, or prepare a casual dinner before settling in for the evening.



Outdoor living

Step outside to a private backyard that’s fully fenced, offering space to relax and gather. The outdoor area includes a fire pit, outdoor furniture, and an outdoor dining area, along with a private BBQ grill: gas for easy cooking. An outdoor projector adds a unique way to enjoy movies under the open sky.

The home includes air conditioning, central heating, ceiling fans, and an indoor fireplace to keep you comfortable throughout your stay. Bathroom essentials, a washer and free dryer - in unit, and clothing storage make longer stays easy and convenient.



Location

You’re just 5 minutes from local restaurants, 10 minutes to shopping, and within a short drive of nearby beaches - 15 minutes to Ocean View Beach and 22 minutes to Virginia Beach.



Additional details

A private entrance allows for easy access, and free parking garage on premises along with free street parking adds convenience. The home is pet-friendly, supports long term stays, and offers self check-in with a smart lock, as well as cleaning available during stay for added flexibility.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the entire home, including the cozy living areas, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms.



For added convenience, there is a keyless entry system for easy check-in and check-out.

Other Things to Note:

Cleaning:

- Additional fees for smoking indoors: $250

You’re welcome to smoke outside the property in designated outdoor areas. We kindly ask that you clean up afterward and properly dispose of cigarette butts to help keep the space tidy and pleasant for everyone.

- Vomit/bodily fluid or waste $250

- Illegal drug paraphernalia $250

- Glitter or confetti: $200

- Unauthorized pets $200/per pet

- Dirty dishes $50

- Missing towel $20 (per towel)



Pets

- Dogs are allowed with a maximum of two dogs during your stay, we charge a $99 non-refundable pet fee

- Pets must not be left alone during your stay, you must pick up after your pet in the yard, and they are not allowed on furniture or beds

- No noise complaints due to pets from neighbors

- Evidence of pets on the furniture or beds will incur additional cleaning fees

- We do not allow cats at our property, please ask about any other pets if traveling with them



Do not flush anything that will cause a plumbing issue and do not pour grease down the drain.



Forgotten Personal Items:

- Forgotten personal items may be shipped within one week of discovery

- Guest is responsible for the cost of shipping plus a $30 fee

- Will only ship domestically (No International Shipping)



Guests:

If additional guests are joining the original reservation guest count, please contact me immediately. If additional guests are brought [beyond original reservation guest total] and Host is not notified, per house rules Guest acknowledged when booking, booking will be canceled immediately with no refund and guests will be required to leave the property. Any additional guests over the amount specified in the reservation (or pre-approved by the hosts) will result in a $75 fee per person. Guest is responsible for damages caused by their party.



Late Checkout:

Failing to vacate the property by the posted/agreed upon checkout time will result in a $60 per hour (pro rated) late checkout fee. If requested prior to the day of checkout we may be able to offer a later checkout time free of charge depending on the schedule of our cleaning team.



Failure to follow rules may result in a canceled booking and forfeiture of payment.
