Welcome to Salt Air Cottage, a spacious dog-friendly coastal home in Carolina Beach with a private pool, fully fenced backyard, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and plenty of space for the whole family.

• No parties or events allowed.
• No smoking.
• Dogs are not allowed in the pool.

NOTES:
• A signed Booking Agreement is required for all reservations before check-in.
• Up 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed.
• A $250 non-refundable pet fee applies.
• Dogs must be leashed at all times outside the property.
• April 1 – September 30: Dogs are allowed on the beach before 9 AM and after 5 PM. | October 1 – March 31: Dogs are allowed on the beach anytime.
• A $200 golf cart credit is provided for full-week stays.

Nice house and location. Just needs a little TLC for the price (air in bike tires, cleaner pool and working pool light, broken sink drain, etc.) Property management was prompt in communication but maintenance team for bikes never showed.

The cottage is a phenomenal location and the price was excellent. We had everything we needed. The only issue was the code I was sent didn’t work to get into the property. A few phone calls and the property management fixed it quickly. I love the dog friendly approach without having weight limit restrictions. My husband and I needed this vacation as we never had a honeymoon due to obligations for sick family members. This was perfect. A wonderful getaway. We will be booking another stay at the salt air cottage.

The house was beautiful and the pool was a favorite for all of us. We did have an issue with the second bathroom, the tub was cracked. We reached out to the host but it took 2 days for them to come check it out and when they got there, they were aware of the crack and said there was nothing that they could do but replace the tub after we leave. So we had 8 people sharing one shower and that was an inconvenience. But other than that we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again with 2 functioning bathrooms.

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay at this property. There were a few small issues along the way but the management company was easy to reach and very quick to respond. The biggest issue was in the main bathroom - the tub floor was cracked open/broken. It was visibly repaired prior to our visit. Someone came to repair it again during our stay but we were unable to use that tub/shower for several days. The house is very spacious and roomy. The kitchen is well stocked and includes a large pantry. The pool is on the smaller side but it worked perfectly for our group of seven people. The house is several blocks from the beach but walkable - the golf cart we rented came in very handy! The garage contains a beach wagon, beach chairs, bikes, etc. The owners also had a large pet crate and a pack & play that guests were able to use.

We really enjoyed our time at the Salt Air Cottage! You truly cannot beat the location, the small pool in the backyard was perfect for the kids to enjoy, and the beds were super comfy! We had a few bumps along the way, but the host was great at getting things taken care of in a timely manner. We would absolutely come back and stay here again when visiting Carolina Beach!

The house was the perfect size and enough beds for everyone. The kids room had a tv, video games and board games, which was really nice. The kitchen was also nice and well stocked. The master bathroom toilet was broken and after the maintenance man came to look at it, he never returned or fixed it so 1 toilet for 8 people was tricky. The outside umbrella at the pool fell over twice, luckily we weren’t in the pool when it happened. I expected more for the price we paid but it was clean and sufficient for our family.

Thank you Kim for your review and feedback. Our maintenance called to come right away but there was no answer. Late that night, we found out you were at the beach all day when you left us a message. The next day, same thing happened, we called you and no answer. We can't just come in without your permission. Next time just call the office back so we can arrange anything you need fixed. Thank you

This is a very spacious place on a quiet street and super convenient to most everything in CB. Plenty of parking for our two vehicles and one golf cart outside as well. The pool is small but a nice to have amenity for cooling off in the afternoons. The kitchen was pretty well stocked for most things we needed and had plenty of room for moving around. Now for a few things that could be improved: The lighting in the kitchen could really use some brighter task lighting above the island as well as a brighter fixture above the dining table. The lighting over the range was not working and we put in a request as soon as we got there and a guy came by the next day and said he would “be back tomorrow” to fix it but never came. The base on the large umbrella at the pool was broken so we never got to use it. The trash and recycling get picked up on Tuesday even tho the book in the house says Monday so be aware of that you may not have a lot of space in the bin at first. The place was very clean when we checked it despite them leaving some linens on the laundry room floor which they came and picked up next day. Overall it was a great stay and a very fun filled week at the beach!

The house is good for a group. A primary bedroom with a king and bathroom. 2 bedrooms with queens and a bunk room and another bathroom. The open living room/kitchen/ dining would be good for a large family. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee supplies. The backyard has a small pool but is a little worn. The property is a 12 minute walk to the beach and the street is quietUnfortunately all three of us had violent allergic reactions after three nights - perhaps due to the carpeting in the bedrooms- and we had to leave
