Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay! The location is great and convenient to town. Property was clean and the hot tub was wonderful. We were unable to get the arcade game to work or the outdoor fireplace and dart board kept turning itself off. But we did not call as we were only there a weekend so it was not really worth the trouble. But otherwise had a great time!

The cabin was clean beautiful and big enough for us to spread out. It was in a quiet area but with easy access and not high in the mountain on windy roads. It was an easy drive to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

It did not have any cleaning supplies such as a vacuum which would have been nice and the dishwasher was in pretty bad shape and very old. The lower level got very cold and the upper level was extremely hot! Other than that it was very nice. We will come back! The property management were great to work with! Thank you so much!

Secluded and Charming

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose this rental resort because they would accommodate my dog. It was nice, clean, and charming. My kids enjoyed the pool table and Hot Tub. When we had an issue with the circuit breaker tripping, they were pretty quick to come out and fix it. The dishwasher needed to be updated. The shower heads weren’t very strong and it would’ve been nice to have a full size washer and dryer, and a Keurig, but other than that it was a nice place. I probably wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re playing at the Ripken Experience because it’s a bit of a drive and not really close to anything (stores, attractions), but if you’re looking for some peace and quiet, definitely a good place to stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So I haven’t booked a cabin in like 10-15 years. Back then cabins was like 99 dollars a night. We took our son and a few friends over. Theywanted to stay in a cabin and go to the island, Dollywood etc. I have to say check in and out was so easy. The hot tub was already on and hot. This place was so nice. We got 4 cars in for parking. The theater actually had Ruku so I’m not sure why the listing says blu ray. I was worried and took blu ray discs. Had darts. Pool table. It’s about 15 mins away from everything but most cabins are. The last day there was a baby bear on the back deck and it was so cool. Seen so many bears! I have some bear stories from the cabin but I don’t know if I should say on here. Bears where awesome though! I will also book next cabin through here. We stayed at cowboy way! No problems at all just relaxation and beauty

Terrific Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay! Cabin was perfect size! We had a family of 5 so plenty of room! I have a child that loves movies and a child that loves games and activities. Both options were available at the cabin. My 13 year old loved the theater system! My 9 year old loved the games- pool table, hot tub and arcade game! Plenty of space and privacy with 3 floors, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. About 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge and 15 from Gatlinburg. 10 minutes from Grocery store. We really enjoyed our time together here. Will visit again in the future.

Fun New Years Eve Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfect for a New Years Eve getaway. I loved booking through Elk Springs and would book again. My biggest complaint is that the cabin can fit up to 10 people but it doesn't have enough things for 10 people. For example, we ran out of toilet paper in the main bathroom (one given 1 roll per bathroom), there were only 8 forks, and we didn't get any sponges to wash dishes. Outside of these small inconveniences, the company was great always checking in on us and gave the perfect amount of information before, during and after our stay.

Great time, perfect location

The theatre room and pool table are an amazing addition for those relaxing nights. Only had 2 issues. The jacuzzi was spitting out black specks (not sure if it was from the water or if the jets weren't cleaned properly) and had an issue with the stove not getting hot ( they sent somebody out immediately and had it fixed). The location is directly between gatlinburg and pigeon forge ( 20 mins to each) Overall it was a great stay and I will definitely be back.

Cowboy Way Review

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the cabin was nice we did have a few issues while there. The cabin wasn’t filthy but it was obvious corners of each room and under beds and table were not cleaned. The amount of dust and dead bugs in certain areas revealed it wasn’t cleaned regularly. We were unable to use the hot tub being that it was surrounded with spiders and huge webs. I understand this is nature but we did not expect to find that so close to the hot tub. The grill was not as clean as we expected either. It had green moss along the sides and the mat under was so dirty and full of grease and algae looking material it should have been changed and the grill cleaned in our opinion. We did enjoy our stay and all in all the cabin was nice it was just a couple of little touches that would have made the stay a bit more enjoyable.

Smoky Mountain Getaway Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a family of five visiting the area for a week. We wanted a cabin away from town, but not to far that was dog friendly. The location was perfect, 15 minutes to Gatlinburg and 20 to the Park.We had plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed a few movie nights and the hot tub. The cabin itself was very clean. Everything we saw matched the description 100%. We had two very small issues that were addressed immediately and we didn’t even ask for them to be. If we had one negative it would be the appliances. The stove does not work great and could be updated. Few burners don’t get that hot. The dishwasher could also be upgraded. It doesn’t do a complete clean. You need to wipe down everything and rinse completely. We noticed a few dirty dishes in the cupboard as the week went on. This could have been why. I would also double check the front deadbolt lock. Can be a bit finicky. Overall this place and location was great. We loved it so much. We look forward to a return trip and would recommend Cowboy way / Elk Springs to our friends and family. I don’t think I would go any other place.

We had plenty of room to sleep for our party of 5 adults and 1 baby, however the main living area didn’t provide enough sitting for us all to gather without some sitting on the floor. Other than that, no complaints except for a very squeaky floor. The top floor was so loud that it would wake the ones on the main floor but we understand this to be an issue with wooden floors. Over all, a great stay with great customer service.

Beware.......caution.......misleading

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I recently stayed in the Cowboy way and it was not at all what was advertised. Pictures don't show another cabin less than 30 ft. On either side of you. Management company confirmed with me a week before check in that the theater had cable hooked up to it so I could watch the superbowl. FALSE. tiny cramped cabin with old, dirty, rusty, pots and pans and dishes that I would not fix my dog a meal on. The mattresses were extremely old and flat with yellow tinted bed sheets on them. Master shower is smaller than a Porta potty and can't even bend over to wash your legs! I was forced to leave this cabin after 2 nights with no sleep due to ****-poor mattress. Management company could care less. Total waste of money and will be pursuing recovery of some of the funds due to false advertising. Very obvious why nobody can leave reviews on the company website!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While we enjoyed our stay overall, we did have several concerns about the house.1. The fireplace pilot wouldn't stay lit. We called to have it fixed, and an hour later it went out pretty much no fire the entire stay2. We struggled with the range while cooking. One or two of the eyes didn't heat adequately to cook well. 3. The houses wasn't really clean. There was a lot of dust on top of the mantle, dog hair on the floor... And even hair on my bed sheets. Just didn't feel as clean as I'd expect. 4. The furniture is rundown and in need of replacing imo. Especially the sofa.I own rental property, and I understand how hard it is to keep everything up (and I know most people don't take good care of things), but this place looks like it hasn't been updated since it was built. I think it's time. :-)
